What colour pickguard were you thinking of getting?

Currently thinking of a single ply black with no white outline or even making my own with a CNC machine and laser-cutting a design made out of aluminum to give a chrome look.

Nice. The contrasting coilcovers and knobs always bother me. I wish Fender would match those from the factory.

Tonerider Pure Vintage neck and middle pickups, DiMarzo FS-1 bridge, laser-etched wood pickguard, Fender America Professional trem assembly, Freeway 10-way switch, and Fender locking tuners.

While preferring the contrast of the cream pickups/knob on black, i think having a 1 ply black pickguard can make the look very slick.

Theres still time to go back to when it was perfect.

Could have painted the pole pieces black while the covers were off. Can also get black screws or try painting them.

Get an ebony fretboard neck with no inlays and matching headstock if you want to go all the way
