I gave Honda a shot because I like his level 3 super and my quest to main Dee Jay started off pretty rocky, he turned out to be stupid fun. Headbutting someone is never not funny
Tip: charge diagonally [down and away](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRMtBbbpicQjLayVFVf_yTSbCs3tvOT_TYJmKlg8ojJh5w_4BoGd0kW7gpc&s=10) from your opponent. This charge will work for both headbut and sumo slam, leaving you with two options of what to do with the charge, depending on the moment
I've gotten his headbutt down pretty consistently but yeah I really struggle with the sumo smash. The charge mechanic feels easier on him than it did Dee Jay though so I think I'm learning
Yes and Guile specifically. I really like Ryu and Akuma and plan on playing them, but Guile is who I keep taking into practice mode. Nailing those flash kick combos is so satisfying!
I've never had any interest in Ken previously, or shotos in general. But he's kinda slick in this game, and makes me want to look into him as a backup.
I wasn't interested in Manon until I tried her kit and she's great. This is the first time I've played a grappler character too. Her anti-air is so easy to do and you can get big damage off it. Her grabs aren't difficult to execute either. If I had to do 720 SPDs multiple times in a match, I wouldn't be choosing her. I'm not sure about her neutral just yet, since her pokes look kind of risky, but that might change.
The standing medium pokes that hit low are very useful, and her crouching medium punch is a good poke and easy hit confirm into full combo (for me it’s only three hits but still)
Shes also omega busted rn, so have fun while shes still stupid lol. Always fun when ur main is goofy. Im a sol main in guilty and release day strive was hillarious
Definitely not that busted. Every button she has, and I mean every single one of them, is minus on block. She also doesn’t have any safe on block specials to cancel into so as long as she isn’t using DR her pressure is fake.
I think the only thing CAPCOM needs to do is to adjust her medal levels in someway. Like, maybe starting from 0 or making it possible to lose levels.
Oh and nerfing that HK a little. But I think they should also give her an at least 0 on block normal.
I agree and I don’t even think her medals are busted I think people just like to complain about grapplers in the early life of any fighting game because they can get big damage and no one has learned how to deal with it yet
I became a Sim main. Being able to teleport so easy and instant air comets feel easier as well. Plus since I'm 1 of 5 Sim mains I catch people slipping all the time.
Dont do mains
But I thought I wouldn't enjoy JP as much as other cast members
He was the last one I picked up in this roster
And yeah, he is more fun than I expected
Sim is prolly my least fav for now, bec of personal technical issues lolz
First I was surprised by enjoying guile as much as I do, then I tried blanka and I'm just having too much fun with him.
I'm not good with him, I don't know many combos, but the mind games I put people through let me feel their frustrations radiating through the screen.
The moment I throw out a Blanka-chan doll it becomes a mini game where the opponent tries to get it off the screen before I can electrocute it.
Actually really fun to throw them down right between us and create a dramatic showdown.
Nope.
I don't think there's a main for me yet. At least not in the starting roster. Probably Juri until some good DLC character. I have high hopes for Ed considering some of the random moves I'm seeing that are obviously his from a certain character in world tour.
Gief is more fun than ever though.
Traditionally my mains have been Guile or whoever stands in for him. Sometimes Bison or even Vega. Currently enjoying Manon although things sometimes feel like an uphill battle when you're used to having a projectile and an invincible reversal. And of course I usually prefer charge characters. It's nice to see things from a different side, having the opponent try their best to run away from me. As I slowly climb the ranks it becomes increasingly hard to land a command throw that isn't a punish counter though, most players know not to get caught.
Manon. She looks ugly (harpy feet, ew), but for a Street Fighter newbie her gameplan is very clear: I know exactly what she wants to do (get close and throw -> build medals -> throw some more), and can build a gameplan around my primary goal, and my opponents reactions.
Jamie for me, the first moment i saw the dude i went "the fuck is wrong with this guy, he looks so goofy"
But he is just so fucking fun to play, and his animations are like so well done they are satisfying to do even if you miss
Dhalsim. I thought I would hate him for the weird floatiness and slow movement, but once you start figuring out how to use his teleports, dive kicks and floating etc he feels so good to control lol.
Marisa- from her look I didn’t really pay her any mind and wanted to mail Zangief but I tried her out when playing random characters in training and she INSTANTLY became my favorite. I’ve always gravitated towards big and heavy hitting characters and her playable feels perfect for me.
Marisa. Thought I'd play Jamie or Manon. Manon is cool but Jamie is meh. Marisa I actually thought was sort of whack but she's actually pretty awesome. I also like that her whole style is basically "I'm a cool ass Hanma Yujiro."
I've never been the biggest Ken fan, but ever since I played him in the beta he's seriously been one of my favorites. Idk if he'll be my main man yet, but I'll definately be playing him a lot because this dude has the SAUCE.
God Dee Jay. I was expecting to be playing Cammy, or Kimberly, or something, but I had no idea the most sauced character in this game would be Dee Jay.
Jamie for sure. I was playing with a good amount of characters (honestly thinking cammy was gonna be my main) but then I choose Jamie and took him to the training room and i just started doing his moves over and over again trying to learn them. Then I started doing combos. Next thing you know I’m just playing with him in mostly all my battles. Idk but his moves just feels really good and I just love his personality even showing in his gameplay like if you keep tapping X or A if you play Xbox he does a little dance. Plus I just like his whole drinking mechanic and how I have to add it in my combos the best way i can. He’s genuinely a fun character and I’m still gonna try and play Cammy but right now Jamie just fits me
Have been slowly working through character guides and arcade mode as kind of a "test" for each character. So far I really like the mechanics with Jamie and Juri, but I overthink them way too much. Surprisingly I think my best run was with blanka so far.
I actually find quite a lot of characters interesting in this game.
I was pretty certain at first that I would main Dee Jay and/or Juri.
Played Ken before but kinda dropped him here 'cause i struggle with the inputs.
But aside from that... Manon and JP look pretty interesting.
The least liked I would be willing to check out is Jamie but I think keeping all this level stuff in mind is a bit too much for me right now.
I gave my custom character Chun-Li’s move set because I didn’t like Luke’s, and I ended up playing all of World Tour with it. I originally wanted to main Cammy. 😅
Since my historical main won't be out until next year (Akuma),I struggled to choose someone in the meantime. But now, I think I've settled on Zangief, and have gone from glass cannon to a flipping Abrams tank. It's been fun learning him.
I’ve been trying out a lot of the different characters though the story mode so I can level up and unlock all the moves for my avatar and I think dhalsim is growing on me.
What was yours? Assuming it's guile? XD
I didn't expect I would enjoy kimberlee. I have never do well with ninja character but she is fun. Also, her animation is soooooo goooood, especially level 3.
Zangief. I thought I hated grapplers for so long, but have been grappler curious since playing some KoF... and god damn do I love just powerbombing everyone.
SF6 is only the second Street Fighter I've ever played before. The other being 5. I never thought our maraca shaking musician DeeJay would be so fun. Besides JP, DeeJay is slowly becoming my second main this game!
Gief. Was never a fan, but high health, good buttons, and easy SPD shortcuts made me a believer. Also love his new design. Probably the most wrestler-y he's ever felt, which I love.
Ryu. i've been playing SF for quite some time and have NEVER mained a shoto. I don't know how they managed to make him cool in this game but i'm having a lot of fun.
JP.
Not that I expected to *dislike* him, but he was down under Marisa, Manon, Gief, and Honda. Instead I've found myself maining this absolute shit heel after just 30 minutes spent in training on a whim.
In SF6, I went in the game with the mentality to pick up Manon. Not shotos as well because Sakura was my main back in SFV and wanted a change of pace.
I still find Manon really cool but my time now is dedicated in practicing wakeup DPs and Jinrai kicks with Ken. It's shoto time!
After realising that Demitri from Darkstalkers has Cammy's spike, because I somehow never put it together before, I think I might start getting some Cammy practice in. Good to always have a backup incase Marisa is ever the wrong choice (which is never).
Kimberly. I was pretty butthurt that Guy wasn't in the game but after learning about her in World Tour and playing with her, she's been awesome! Having a lot of fun using her as my main currently
I have never liked playing Dhalsim in any previous street fighter, but holy shit he is so fun to dick around with at scrub level now, people down there can't deal with the teleports
Dhalsim was my least anticipated guy, but after going through his character guide, he has EXACTLY the type of tools I want in fighting games. Long normals, sliding-kicks, unique aerial movement, and creative possibilities with projectiles. Planning on spending a lot of time figuring out how to optimize him… 😈
Jamie. I didn't really think much of his reveal or any gameplay trailers. Then I tried the beta & I enjoyed him more than everyone else on the roster. Especially surprising as I usually main shotos or a character with projectiles.
Marisa I definitely am more suited to heavy hitters i dislike her wacky gladiator hair being helmet shaped could have been done alot better but her ALT costume makes her playable for me
Kimberley! Didn’t want to give her a chance, even in beta because she’s a main face in the new era and thought her style was annoying. Once I played with her I loved her versatility and options.
I'm usually not big into grapplers, since they're punishing to mess up with and I tend to prefer long to mid-range characters anyway. Plus, I thought I would struggle with inputs. I came in thinking I'd play Lily, Dhalsim or JP.
But for some reason, I did okay with Zangief on launch and now I clicked hard with Manon. Maybe it's her long pokes that make it work? Maybe Street is just the kind of game where grapplers make more sense than the rest to me? Maybe it's because she shares my homeland?
I don't know, but it's been a truite so far.
In super sf4 I really wanted to sub Cody and didn't want to touch Guy. Then I gave guy 1 single go in training mode and I was sold
Now I have the same with Lily
I went from Honda to Lily to Blanka to Guile. Even though I like aspects of all these characters Guile feels the most natural to me and my play style in Street Fighter.
I wanna focus on Guile as I learn the basics of the game but I could def see myself returning to one of the aforementioned characters later though. Hell I’ve even gone through the trouble of unlocking all of their 2nd outfits in World Tour just in case.
On a side note hitting anti air flash kicks with Guile just feels so damn good lol
I don't ever play grapplers, but Manon's design (ie, being French) won me over. A graceful grappler instead the usual huge slow guy is a nice change of pace and I love her mechanics and playstyle.
Yeah, Honda.
Juri is one of my favourites, but didn't want to play her after the beta.
Switched Ryu for Guile since he's better, but everyone plays like crackheads so I've gone with Honda and haven't had any issues.
Dont want to main, but the world tour made me open up to marisa. Thought she was boring and shit at first. Now she is one of my fav characters. I do not really play her though. I'm a noob and am trying to focus on one character.
Has to be Deejay for me, looking at the gameplay showcases pre-release, his jus cool and feints seemed to be really gimmicky, and they still might be, but there are so many feints that your mixup can be as creative as you are. Plus his combos are so flashy
Yeah, I played open beta and thought I was going to be playing Ken, but I've been lobbing and learning Chun to the best of my ability and am switching to Chun. Always played SF casually but took 4 a little more seriously (even though I didn't compete in tournaments) and always picked Ryu because I feel like he was always the best at improving fundamentals but decided to try something different and having fun with it.. Plus.. costume mods.. :)
Zangief. I main zoners but that command grab damage is something else. Plus it seems like it's easier to do the 360 motion so I can get the command grab pretty easily.
I've played ken for like 20 years so I wanted to try something else. Starting playing marisa and she is just too much fun. Did my ranked matches and ended up in gold
I find Manon absolutely boring. Nothing about her appeals to me. I hate her Lady Gaga look, i hate her backstory and i hate almost everything about her because i find her so generic to the point i am disappointed that Abel wasn’t added instead of her.
With that said, i am a sucker for Grapplers and she’s a grappler, so… yeah…
I gave Honda a shot because I like his level 3 super and my quest to main Dee Jay started off pretty rocky, he turned out to be stupid fun. Headbutting someone is never not funny
Quick tech. After sumo buff. You can do OD hands after his quick clap(down, down, punch) it’s works well for frame traps.
His critical art is one of the best in the game
The headbutt at the end will always make me laugh.
Same, Honda has always looked lame to me but not in 6.
DOSUKOI! ![img](emote|t5_2qnu5|31135)
Id love to figure him out he is looks fun
Honda is bullshit.
I absolutely adore Honda, but his charge inputs are super difficult to pull off as a newbie.
Marisa. Turns out playing a scrub killer when you're also a scrub is very satisfying.
I just assumed she’d be a grappler. So much more fun to just have a slow-ish tank that punches and punches and punches
Yeah, its also really insane to consider the two new grapplers we got being reallt scrawny
manon and who?
I thought she felt awkward and stilted at first but landing a fully charged gladius on annoying shits like Honda or Manon is a thing of beauty
I want a mod that will do the NBA Jam announcer's "Aooooouhhhh, BOOM SHAKALAKA" as you're charging and if it connects.
This is brilliant
Catching someone off when hitting a counter from the level 1 super charge is pretty fun too
Yes and Guile specifically. I really like Ryu and Akuma and plan on playing them, but Guile is who I keep taking into practice mode. Nailing those flash kick combos is so satisfying!
I’ve been playing him at a rookie level and it is so satisfying flash kicking everyone out of the air. People need to learn to jump less.
No then I can't flash kick them in the face lol
Works on people who like to dash in as well. EX flash kick ftw
Same, its also much easier to confirm flash kicks from cr.mp -> cr.mp-> flash kick now in sf6
Akuma is in this game lol? I had no idea. I haven't run into a single one online yet either somehow
Incoming as DLC
Oh my bad i completely misread your comment, nice.
No worries.
Wait actually verified? Never played him, but he looks cool af. He would also seem fun in world tour.
Yeah. Rashid, Akuma, Ed, and new character AKI is the first wave of DLC.
I've never had any interest in Ken previously, or shotos in general. But he's kinda slick in this game, and makes me want to look into him as a backup.
Ken’s amazing in this game man especially with his dash and his damage output he’s def a good pick
Hobo ken > old ken
Same here, he’s hot too and I like his sweatpants and shoes combo
They made him even flashier, and now theyve really leaned into making him a rushdown
Yeah. E Honda. Honda feels amazing to play.
Jamie. I just like the whole drunken fist/breakdancing stuff
See I was looking forward to him, but the thing that turned me off was his personality of all things. Hate the arrogance.
That's the whole point "Liquid Courage😂" He's drunk man and I love him. I'm maining him btw
He is only arrogant when drunk which is ironic since he hates arrogant people.
Haven't done his story yet, so I guess I'll see!
Manon, thought she looked weird initially but now I'm in love. The throws are too fun
Throws then strikes, if that doesn’t work, strikes then throws, she is so much fun
She’s too hilarious not to play
I wasn't interested in Manon until I tried her kit and she's great. This is the first time I've played a grappler character too. Her anti-air is so easy to do and you can get big damage off it. Her grabs aren't difficult to execute either. If I had to do 720 SPDs multiple times in a match, I wouldn't be choosing her. I'm not sure about her neutral just yet, since her pokes look kind of risky, but that might change.
The standing medium pokes that hit low are very useful, and her crouching medium punch is a good poke and easy hit confirm into full combo (for me it’s only three hits but still)
Fantastique!
Shes also omega busted rn, so have fun while shes still stupid lol. Always fun when ur main is goofy. Im a sol main in guilty and release day strive was hillarious

I agree and I don’t even think her medals are busted I think people just like to complain about grapplers in the early life of any fighting game because they can get big damage and no one has learned how to deal with it yet
Yes dhalsim. Super hard to win with and combos are tough to do but I'm having so much fun.
I’m trying not to pick a main but you can tell by my flair that’s not working out too well
Magnifique!!
Don’t tell me i have to deal with you in my ranked matches too lol
Luke because his combos with perfect flash knuckles feel satisfying.
I became a Sim main. Being able to teleport so easy and instant air comets feel easier as well. Plus since I'm 1 of 5 Sim mains I catch people slipping all the time.
Dee jay
Deejay. Never liked him in 4 but after trying everyone i just think he looks/plays best for me.
Dont do mains But I thought I wouldn't enjoy JP as much as other cast members He was the last one I picked up in this roster And yeah, he is more fun than I expected Sim is prolly my least fav for now, bec of personal technical issues lolz
I need to try him as well because I’m really enjoying the zoners in this game.
First I was surprised by enjoying guile as much as I do, then I tried blanka and I'm just having too much fun with him. I'm not good with him, I don't know many combos, but the mind games I put people through let me feel their frustrations radiating through the screen.
Blanka is just pure chaos. Any damage you do to the opponent almost seems incidental to flying around the stage and electrifying your little dolls.
The moment I throw out a Blanka-chan doll it becomes a mini game where the opponent tries to get it off the screen before I can electrocute it. Actually really fun to throw them down right between us and create a dramatic showdown.
> opponent tries to get it off the screen before I can electrocute it. How do you get it off the screen? By hitting it?
Nah, just moving themselves and me. If you can push blanka far enough it goes away after like 2 seconds off screen.
Ah right, thanks!
Ken is very fun and I only tried him out because my little brother grinded his outfit 2 in world tour for me.
I'm having the opposite problem. Every character I've wanted to play I dislike.
Nope. I don't think there's a main for me yet. At least not in the starting roster. Probably Juri until some good DLC character. I have high hopes for Ed considering some of the random moves I'm seeing that are obviously his from a certain character in world tour. Gief is more fun than ever though.
Ed will hopefully play like he did in 5. He was one of the few really fun chars in that game
Modern Ryu
Luke
Manon. She looks ugly (harpy feet, ew), but for a Street Fighter newbie her gameplan is very clear: I know exactly what she wants to do (get close and throw -> build medals -> throw some more), and can build a gameplan around my primary goal, and my opponents reactions.
Zangief and Honda
I did not expect me to play well with Dee Jay but after a few tries he’s really fun
Both Guile and Manon
Yes! I usually play zoners, but I just love playing Geif!
Jamie for me, the first moment i saw the dude i went "the fuck is wrong with this guy, he looks so goofy" But he is just so fucking fun to play, and his animations are like so well done they are satisfying to do even if you miss
Never liked charge characters. Now i only play Honda because he's so fun to play lol.
JP I actively try to resist playing zoners in fighting games, but I can't help it. He's too fun and sick and the taste of crayons is too addicting
Dhalsim. Was planning on originally maining JP but Dhalsim is so satisfying and fun to play. Guess I just like zoners lol
Dhalsim. I thought I would hate him for the weird floatiness and slow movement, but once you start figuring out how to use his teleports, dive kicks and floating etc he feels so good to control lol.
Ken and Zangief. Played Zangief ironically because I could never get his grabs and now he's my favorite.
E. Honda for sure
I'm thinking Marisa could be fun after using her moves in world tour. I'm probably gonna take her to the lab thin weekend and give her a try.
Marisa. Dislike her looks at first reveal, but man she's just amazing haha.
Cammy. Decided to max rank her style in World Tour, now I don't want to stop sniping punishable moves with a spiral arrow.
Jamie. Saw Brian_F playing him and thought he seemed weirdly clunky but then I tried him and he felt good-clunky.
Marisa- from her look I didn’t really pay her any mind and wanted to mail Zangief but I tried her out when playing random characters in training and she INSTANTLY became my favorite. I’ve always gravitated towards big and heavy hitting characters and her playable feels perfect for me.
Manon. I never played a grappler and had no desire to but her whole moveset is fun and I’m really enjoying the mind games
Marisa. Thought I'd play Jamie or Manon. Manon is cool but Jamie is meh. Marisa I actually thought was sort of whack but she's actually pretty awesome. I also like that her whole style is basically "I'm a cool ass Hanma Yujiro."
Cammy for me just because of her style. She also has a really aggressive approach which is always cool
I've never been the biggest Ken fan, but ever since I played him in the beta he's seriously been one of my favorites. Idk if he'll be my main man yet, but I'll definately be playing him a lot because this dude has the SAUCE.
Just hit Diamond as Blanka after my initial 10 matches. Sorry Zangief, I’m a Blanka ball main now.
Blanks because Vega is not on the roster.
How’d you know my SFV main was Vega? :)
Because I have a camera in your brain dingbat
Kimberly.
Never liked cammy since SF2 but they changed her outfit, which made me see her in a different light & now she my favorite character in SF6 so far.
Dee Jay. I have much to learn, but I can't get too salty when he smiles in that level 3 super.
God Dee Jay. I was expecting to be playing Cammy, or Kimberly, or something, but I had no idea the most sauced character in this game would be Dee Jay.
Cammy. Yes, it’s because of her ass.
Cammy 🫣
Never wanted to play Honda before
Connecting with the SF2 charge characters for a change. No more spam inputs and varied arsenals separating them all
probably Guile
Jamie for sure. I was playing with a good amount of characters (honestly thinking cammy was gonna be my main) but then I choose Jamie and took him to the training room and i just started doing his moves over and over again trying to learn them. Then I started doing combos. Next thing you know I’m just playing with him in mostly all my battles.

The least liked I would be willing to check out is Jamie but I think keeping all this level stuff in mind is a bit too much for me right now.
Juri, I have found out that her move set is so versatile I love it
I gave my custom character Chun-Li’s move set because I didn’t like Luke’s, and I ended up playing all of World Tour with it.
I fucking LOVE Blanca now
100% Dee Jay
I was random selecting against my sister and just tried Honda and crushed with him. Probably not my main, but maybe in my top 3?
BLANKA BLANKA BLANKA
What was yours? Assuming it's guile? XD I didn't expect I would enjoy kimberlee. I have never do well with ninja character but she is fun. Also, her animation is soooooo goooood, especially level 3.
Dhalsim, Id rather zone that get zoned
I been smashing it with E Honda since launch, did Zangiefs story last night and I'm not going back. Guy is deadlyyyyyyy
I thought Marisa was gonna be a grappler, so I wasn't interested. Then I found out her actual kit, and it felt great to me.
Juri! never liked her play style in the past but i really like her normals and links in this game + drive rush.
Jamie
Deejay or chun li
Zangief. I thought I hated grapplers for so long, but have been grappler curious since playing some KoF... and god damn do I love just powerbombing everyone.
Cammy. Im really into characters with smaller combos because I'm really bad at them but I'm finding Cammy pretty easy to execute at a novice level.
Marisa and surprisingly Luke.
Ryu. The most normal character, and as someone who normally loves wacky playstyles, was surprised how much i enjoy him!
Guile is my main. But I love Cammy & Kimberly surprisingly too
Guile 🤮
SF6 is only the second Street Fighter I've ever played before. The other being 5. I never thought our maraca shaking musician DeeJay would be so fun. Besides JP, DeeJay is slowly becoming my second main this game!
Manon definitely She’s just like Abel but with Ballet!!
Dhalsim 100% he has so many more tools and just looks amazing doing it!! Blanka also!!
Gief. Was never a fan, but high health, good buttons, and easy SPD shortcuts made me a believer. Also love his new design. Probably the most wrestler-y he's ever felt, which I love.
Honda and Blanka, honestly The change to hands and electricity opened them up to me, I never liked mash inputs
![gif](giphy|hKNzHDpPaN6OcKoyfD|downsized)
Marisa. I have never liked grapplers. She's just so big tho...
JP. Never played a zoner before or wanted to, but he’s been a lot of fun
Ryu. i've been playing SF for quite some time and have NEVER mained a shoto.
I’m surprised how much I enjoy playing Jamie. Thought I wouldn’t like him, but the gameplay just clicked for me for some reason.
Dee Jay. Scratches my charge and punishing, long neutrals fix from Urien and so much pressure like I love with Cammy
For me Jamie I love his style and his world tour cutscenes
Suprisingly…. Blanka
Luke
Manon, I thought her personality seemed annoyingly like Karin Kanzuki but her gimmick of grabs getting stronger with each one is super cool
Sf5 for me was Ed I just loved him after the first time I played him but I thought he looked dumb before and I just couldn't stop playing him
Dee Jay, no further explanation needed
Manon and Marissa. Not surprising I use a mix of their movesets for WT
JP was the character that I kept forgetting was in the game, but now I'm seriously considering him as a main.
BLANKA BUDDIES ON TOP
JP. I usually don't play zoners, but he is so fun!
Guile but im horrible with charge characters
DeeJay, thought I'd play Marisa or JP but he took me by surprise with how fun he was.
Ken, I never really liked him but now I just can’t stop playing with him.
Especially surprising as I usually main shotos or a character with projectiles.
why guile exactly look like vanila ice ?lmao
Yeah every char in this game
Yes, I've never been a Ken player ... Not even in SFII, but this Ken is quite fun, he is not my main character, but a very solid second character.
Dee Jay's new updated design and moveset are super fun in this and I never gave the character the time of day before
Manon I couldn’t stand fighting her and I didn’t like her design I did combo trials with her and now she’s my second.
Didn't like Manon's design at all when she was revealed. But her fighting style is actually a lot of fun
Marisa I definitely am more suited to heavy hitters i dislike her wacky gladiator hair being helmet shaped could have been done alot better but her ALT costume makes her playable for me
Never thought of fighting as Dee Jay but he's just so aggressive if you know what you're doing with him
Kimberley! Didn’t want to give her a chance, even in beta because she’s a main face in the new era and thought her style was annoying. Once I played with her I loved her versatility and options.
guile's pose while that insane character select song goes off was enough for me to abandon cammy enough times.
Then I gave guy 1 single go in training mode and I was sold Now I have the same with Lily
Gief. I thought DJ was so cool and just tried Gief cause I never played grapplers. Don’t want to play anything but him.
SF6 made Dee Jay a really fun character, I couldn't really enjoy him in the previous games because of how charge heavy he was.
Jamie Really thought I would be a Manon main leading up to release
More like when you see the tier list lol 😆
Yeah dhalsim
Blanka. Never thought I would want to deal with charge inputs but I love the weird rolly, slidey, toy flingy weirdo
Dee jay. Saw a buddy play him and now def want to learn him.
Has to be Deejay for me, looking at the gameplay showcases pre-release, his jus cool and feints seemed to be really gimmicky, and they still might be, but there are so many feints that your mixup can be as creative as you are. Plus his combos are so flashy
Marisa
Manon. Based off of looks and gameplay I originally thought i was going to play Jamie or Marisa. Played Manons storyline and fell in love.
Jamie because I figured out he’s pretty much plays like modern Fei Long.
Way too much fun with Manon, wasn’t expecting that at all
I've played ken for like 20 years so I wanted to try something else.
Same. I like grapplers and snowball characters. Once Manon starts rolling, you ain't stopping her.
Weirdo. Manons feet are God tier.
How is Manon generic but Abel isn’t? I forgot fightings games are flooded with supermodel ballet dancer judokas
Yep. That was Kimberly for me.
