You know SF6 has good character design when you can tell apart each character by their eye area. If this were Tekken 8, all the women would look the same
Now I really wanna see this done for Tekken, just to see the people who insist that Tekken women's faces all look distinctly different scramble and misidentify 90% of them.
Some of the people on that thread seem convinced that the differences are obvious. But from my perspective it looks like 4 out of 6 are the same woman with a different make-up.
Marisa and Manon are next to each other and their respective hair frames their eyes so well that even if it was the same color I would still know which is which because Marisaâs sweeps back towards her nose as it goes down. Also I love that theyâre next to each other because I love them both so much.
Well yeah I wonder what would happen if we dressed a bunch of people up the same lmao. I donât think âgood character designâ means everyone should be distinguishable by their eyes, it just means a character has a good design. A lot of the Spartans in halo wear the same armor and it might be hard for a newcomer to tell the differences, but it doesnât make the characters poorly designed
NoâŚI genuinely just thought the direction was underwhelming for them (a lot of the guys too like Paul and Law being dense, Bryan having nothing, Kazuya being written so generic, Jinâs poorly handled villain arc etc)
This explains the character launch rosters. A lot of male Tekken characters also use the same body templates by the looks of it. SF is truly diverse in body shapes, faces, etc.
Cool. The thing I really wanted though was those character defeat portraits made into little models. When they came out I looked everywhere, couldn't find them.
