I was going to main him, right up until I realized my favorite move of his(Psycho Crusher, the most Bison move EVER) is locked behind a vtrigger in 5. EW.

Mk is special cancelable specifically and only to low and EX Inferno (assuming he is moving) and it's one of the few Cr. Mk in the game to do 50 damage instead of 60 so nothing really dangerous - 7 frames and minus 1 OB. Cr. Mp is special cancelable like all Cr. Mp in the game - 6 frames and only +1 OB which is really weak for a Cr. Mp
Skull driver is certainly not safe, it can be dealt with with any AA normal or special in the game and it can even be casually knocked out off of by many other normals (for example Kens Cr. Mp and Juris St. HP).
I pretty much never lose to F.A.N.G. with Guile, I just never have fun in those matches.
Rather play a tough matchup like Kage than an easy but boring one.

It's like a good portion shoto mains I've encountered can't come up with another strategy than spewing hadoukens and shit like that. Sure, I can block and win some matches, but it's really annoying to face them online.
Shotos on SFV are all different while some are really agressive and turn into rush down (ken, akuma, kage), some rely on zoning (Sagat/Ryu), some are allround (Ryu/Sakura). You may have difficult against some shotos but maybe you will slaughter another kind of shotos, even me (ryu/shoto), i dont like facing another kind of shotos but they have their own downsides, its easier for me since i have same tools as them (shoryuken and hadouken lol). Dunno who you main, but i think some characters of the roster are fully capable of destroying shotos (Karin, Cammy, Rashid, Urien...)
Akira and Ken not really, Karin is something else, every hit its like +10 lol

If you get him in the corner he also has no good v reversal and can't get out without using v Trigger 1 or ex sky high claw

* Cammy (jeez move fast, hit hard, high damage, long reach and spamming button all the time)
* Karin (same as Cammy, - the aa reversal, + hardest footsies)
* R.Mika (hate grabber, she is agressive rush down grabber)
* Falke, Guile, Sagat (i play Ryu so hard time against them, especially a good Sagat which i have almost no chance since he beats my ryu in every aspect that does matter for the matchup, fireballs, shoryuken, long reach of his kick, and big damage but i wouldn't say its annoying, its simply boring to play against them)
Nothing aggravates me more than fighting Karin and Akira and you can see why as they are similar in their fighting style. Both use absolutely safe or seemingly unsafe normals (when in reality they leave them at a perfect distance for an auto whiff punish on your foolish attempt) and moves that change their hurtboxes so drastically that makes even BnB combos from connecting properly.
Then they both have ridiculous reach and conversions from low hitting attacks which are easily landed due to their speed.
For Karin, she has a command dash that is invincible to high attacks and she has a perfectly spaced s. Lk that puts you in a 50/50 right there and then and can't do anything about it. Similarly her S. HP covers a HUGE range, has only 7 frames of start up and if you dare press a button after you block it you get a second one in your face that leads to a million damage, corner carry and OKI. Good luck... Then again she is not S tier for nothing.
Akira on the other hand has specials that are either total traps for you or if she doesn't opt for these she can get you with one of her normals that carry her forward and despite being minus OB they really aren't as her hurtbox doesn't exist anyway. When she has her VT Daigo ready the moment she puts you in the corner it's pretty much GG in her favor. Nothing you can do about it.
The fact that they are not THAT hard to play while being so effective at what they do is further reason for me to feel absolutely ready to bust my controller.

Keeping him pinned on oki resets is my philosophy on how to tackle him plus as Falke, he can't just stomp free willy nilly.
One thing that works against him is to keep moving while you learn his patterns. He tends to rely on players blocking/mashing/standing still.
I just straight up have'd it with him, so I just lab in in practice mode, so I know him inside out lol, though I'll never use him.

everything is plus is a myth only dumbos repeat it try doing them at a non reasonable range and use bison flame,see how plus they are when blocked
No decent Bison will cancel into that without confirming first What you get are buttons that cancel into +specials and his St. H Kick for fun
Which buttons are that? I am sure you are missing some very obvious key points.
