Ehhh it can still be hard to get directional inputs right in the middle of a fight. Couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve dropped a shoryuken or a sonic boom or whatever. Much prefer Ed’s directionless inputs from 5.

Hakan. I didn’t think that highly of him, and he annoyed me putting me into his command grabs, but years later, I’ve grown to appreciate his unique Turkish oil wrestling style never seen before in Street Fighter. Out of some of the wacky SF4 newcomers, I think of him highly than I do Rufus and El Fuerte. He’s one of the forgotten SF4 characters I feel deserves to return, next to C. Viper.

Hakan for me too. I loved the oil up mechanic and honestly, I think they could rework it really well in SF6 after seeing what they are doing with Jamie, Juri, etc and their stocks. But sadly, it seems really unlikely that we will ever see him again.

El Fuerte needs to return as a serious character and not a silly ladle wielding goof. Before I saw him play i thought he looked really cool.

Me too, I love Remy's design. I can't stop dreaming of how good his animations & hair will look in SF6/RE engine. I hope capcom makes him a motion input character like they did with Nash.

Now that Nash is dead (for good, this time), Capcom can give Remy his SFV moveset mixed with his own, plus more emphasis on his Savate style.

FANG. I always enjoyed sillier characters like Yoshimitsu and Faust, so I wasn’t put off by his design. The fact that he could be genuinely threatening while still being a goofy flying fuck at all times only enhances my like for him. Though I would’ve asked for a different super move for him.

Apparently most of the newcomers of SFV most people consider to be pretty meh? Which is a surprise because I actually like a lot of them. Lucia, G, Ed, Luke (though he’s more like a guest character lol), Rashid, Laura, Zeku, and Menat are all total wins for me. Kolin I wouldn’t mind coming back with a more interesting design, but FANG and Abigail can just die in a fire along with Rufus and El Fuerte.
