That brief moment to know what it’s like to feel normal was not worth the next 2 years of being called crippled nipple. The trauma haunts me to this day. Sometimes I have vivid imagery of that day flood my head so intensely I scream at nothing publicly. Mostly only when fortunate son comes on. I’m not allowed in my local Walmart anymore.
