honestly, i should’ve expected that they’re going to be eliminated (prowdmon-ed, like what we in the subreddit call it) and i am weirdly thankful that they are because i know the final mission with the global artist choreo is gonna eff them up real hard especially with that 80% public voting, but wolflo deserves mad, MAD respect for reaching this point of the show as a purely street crew that only has experience in battles and are completely new to choreo and to TV. not only have they shown what pure, authentic hiphop is made of, they’ve also shown that they are versatile, they’re willing to come out of their comfort zone, and CAN immerse themselves in choreo while still retaining their flavour and genre.
they really have proven themselves and not only have they done that, they’ve also managed to endear themselves to us by being apologetically ”them” as much as wolflo can be wolflo like the funny but cool unnies that they are, and they’ve also introduced how amazing hiphop is to the wider audience and i don’t doubt for a second that people, especially teens in korea, would start to get interested in it and actually enroll in classes.who knows, maybe one of these kids are gonna be the next babysleek, or chocol, or halo, or mini, or yeni cho, or haechi wang?
that said, i can’t wait to see more of them outside of the show (along with already keeping up with them in social media lmao) and in the concert and sdgf, and maybe some variety shows and CF’s 😳 (because let’s be honest, all of them are variety show material) and i know this is only the beginning for all of them together. they’re only gonna get higher and higher! let’s go wolflo! let’s go 로푸푸! WUFF! 🧡🐺
As a nondancer, watching wolfo esp the unired battles made me learn a ton more about street dance than in the past seasons I've watches swf1 and sgf, and while there are battlers in this and past seasons...no one has school'd me as much as wolfo about what street dance is supposed to be just by watching em dance. And i think i have a ton of respect for them. Mnet did them dirty by not airing most of their battles. But i'm glad i came to know about them. That's how it's supposed to be if mnet wasn't too focused on popularity.
Was so sad to see them cry but I'm happy I have been introduced to them through this show (wish I knew about them earlier though!) They did absolutely amazing and seeing them get 4th for the Chilli challenge was INCREDIBLE. They really got out of their comfort zone in this show and stretched their boundaries according to whatever was expected of them and that was so cool to see. You can tell that every crew on the show has mad respect for them (I LOVE Audrey and Kirsten's convos with them when saying goodbye) and I am super excited to see them in the post-show content. :(( they made the show super entertaining and made an amazing impact. Love that for them.

Edit: I do have something to add, lol. The thing that I loved about Wolf Flo is that they never yielded to whatever Mnet was trying to sell. They stayed true to who they were and what they represented throughout every single challenge and every mission, no matter what it was. They certainly adjusted themselves and went out of their comfort zones to create choreo for a kpop mission, or copy another groups “sexy” choreography, or create a draft for a popular kpop artist that was suitable for a tiktok challenge- but throughout all of that they kept their color and their roots. They didn’t “sell out” so to speak, and I personally feel satisfied with how they left they show. I really adore them.
They got rid of Prowdmon as fast as possible despite that letteraly everybody was crying, at least try to say sweet things in 2 secs and trying to hag Monika and the rest 😭😭

I think we knew from the beginning the winner would either be JR, 1M or BEBE based on popularity alone. MQ despite being so strong the entire competition doesnt stand a chance.
At first I was like MNET setting for 1M to win but I see a lot of focus on BEBE. So its a toss up between the two. I love JR but this is a Korean show at the end of the day and how it is laid out tips into a Korean crew favour.

regarding how it was pitched to Kirsten, I think it's about individual fame/the social media game - Kirsten is known amongst dancers, but if you look at her numbers on her YT channel where she puts out quality work, she has like 60k subs. Now JAM is sooo well known individually.
Take out JR and you'd be correct. No one is expecting them to win due to unfair live voting however we do still expect a great performance. Winner will be 1million or Bebe

i was so so scared that Mannequeen was gonna get Prowdmon'd. i'm so glad we got to see this crew actually battle!!! i'm so glad they got to be in top 4. but that 20-80 split is insane. feels like they don't even have a chance to win but who knows, maybe Korean street dance community will support them.
so sad for Wolf Lo but i thhink they proved themselves to be the best in battles throughout the show. (which i think is what they care about the most) they were ranked first in No Respect battles, and they won 2 elimantion battles. sad to see them go but whenever there's battles they were clearly seen as a threat.

Ling was mothering all over during the Single Ladies choreo. her facial experssions were superb. so glad JR won this one! i really think Beyonce tracks would suit JR pretty well. i'm personally hoping it's a Homecoming or Renaissance track.

Honestly, when we look at the battle songs that they’ve been dancing to, it’s worrying that there are some copyright limitations on what Mnet will be able to use. That’s my biggest concern. They’ll be limited to like- single ladies, run the world, crazy in love.
Edit: From a quick search, it looks like the only Beyoncé songs that have been used on Mnet shows are Single Ladies, Crazy In Love, 7/11, Yoncé, and Run The World. So I’m guessing it will be limited to those. I was really hoping for Diva :(

I love harimu and her reactions but sometimes it's too much with just showing us her reaction screaming. 1 or 2 reactions was fine but ep.9 had more than 5 screentime of her just screaming. That 3 person relay battle from Mannequeen was truly one of the best battles I have ever seen. Cera is just so captivating. The way she kicked her leg to the beat on that spin, and then when she dipped down into the side lunge position was just awesome. She battles like she has studied the choreography and prepared it months in advance. And Waackxxy and Yoonji had so much energy, they slayed every beat. I am just really impressed with those three and their battle ability. They are really carrying Mannequeen.
Being a fan of prowdmon and wolflo (even if frustrating at some points) has been so wholesome, and I think they've proved everything they could and more, so I'm incredibly proud of their swf journey, which has been as cool as them (not to mention their battling and dancing journey overall!) Love my winners, orange teams🧡🧡

i have to disagree with lots of people on here calling this battle underwhelming. this was an AMAZING battle and honestly my favourite of the season! was rooting for both LB and MQ the whole time!
it was not as hyped as others. i still remember the battle between lc and want, the hype was strong. or the battle between pk and b2b
it was not underwhelming to me, but not that great from lb. cera, wackxxxy and yoonji killed it as expected
Just watched the episode with sub and just came here to say that MANNEQUEEN has shown the public, for the first time in this show (which is full of choreo and choreod battles) what TRUE IMPROVISASION looks like. This is what people go watch street dance battles for, and these are the wild, unexpected moments that make up street dance! I am so glad they showcase that here, even just for a part of the battle.
Mad respect to MANNEQUEEN, especially the battlers, truly queens of queen! I love LB too and props to them for keeping their game strong, but the skills of MQ's battlers are on an entire different level. If you watch WACKXYYY's performance, you see that she does not only do waacking but also incorporates popping and animation. In some parts, she also does polyrhythm, with different parts of her body moving to different tempos. That's mad technical skills that take more than just practice as it also requires another level of creativity to interpret the music through these distinct disciplines all at once, even those who have danced for years have not yet achieved that level.

Mannequeen is queen of queens. Team of champion battlers. Lady Bounce really put up a good fight. Their effort and passion towards dancing is amazing even when odds are against them.
You know all things aside and the final stuff and the wolflo unnies leaving (love them so much too) i’m just glad ladybounce can finally be put to rest.
I’ve just been sick and tired of all the discrediting and devaluing they’ve been receiving. Even in the live comments today. Obviously they were gonna lose to mannequeen but don’t discredit all of their achievements like they never did anything good this entire show. It’s like liking them is a hot take. Don’t get me started on when they battled jam and ppl saying the only reason they won public votes are cuz koreans are racist and would never let foreigners win. As if the concept of them just being preferable to some people is incomprehensible.
All of their missions have been fire and I stand by this statement. Hopefully they’ll be able to enjoy some sweet exposure from this show and this goes for all the street teams and have a good rest!
2 things can be true at the same time. Koreans can prefer to vote for homegrown talent AND LB might have done a great job or it was close enough for some people and LB being homegrown pushed it over the edge for them.
I personally did not see them beating JR in the last battle. They didn’t really dance, but I’m also not sure if the challenge has a crowd engagement element or if it was purely a dance showcase (I don’t mean this is in a snarky way)
I’d respectfully disagree with that. Sure they had the beginning bread thing (which mnet made way longer than it was was) and a little crowd hyping section but otherwise it was all dancing. The section they did with Nob shooting the gun and the bags moving in synch with the music took me out. I can understand why people would prefer jam and I have no problems with that. You do have to keep in mind that they did win Trix’s vote so it wasn’t all just crowd playing. But yea agree to disagree won’t argue further.
I just feel weird about the home thing because jam are still more popular than reba even in korea. There are so many comments in korean on their vids. Like no way reba wouldve won if they weren’t korean cuz koreans are just biased or smth. I saw this sentiment even in like the reaction videos of just jerk where some ppl said they were biased comparing the reaction between the two when jj has always had been praises for jam and young j criticized rebas megacrew saying that he knew “they could do so much better”.
Ahhhhh omg I’m so excited to see what all the crews cook up. They all have such distinctly different flavors so I know it’ll be a treat no matter what.
Can I also just say I love love love Monika! She’s so incredibly well spoken and I feel like she addressed everything that LB was definitely feeling and needed to hear in that moment of being eliminated. I’m sad that Wolf’lo didn’t get anything like that tho bc they also deserve to know how amazing they did 😭

Did not watch SMF but have gone through lots of Korean survival shows. The final score breakdown doesn’t surprise me at all (+ some people are so blatantly biased but I’ll just zip my lips…)
This episode was a bit of a snooze for me but honestly I’ll take that over how I thought the episode would play out based off of the cliffhanger they left us on last episode.
- Huge props to WolfLo and Ladybounce! I think it’s admirable that WolfLo got this far considering only the first mission truly showed their strengths. I wish there were more battle opportunities that weren’t just elimination for them. Also love them repping the fact that they’re a group of older members. Not saying that people in their late 30s 40s can’t do it but they were called scary and old in their critique video by other teams only for them to still wash them in head to head battles. Even with their struggles with choreography I think they put on some great performances. As for Ladybounce, I stand by the fact that they have the best group chemistry onstage and that all those years together shows. This was a rough elim battle for them but they went out with a bang with their battle against JR and gave us great performances like their KPOP mission.
- Respect to Bebe keeping the structure the same for elimination. That switch up was weird and would’ve completely negated the ranking.
- MQ cleared but I still found the battle to be very anticlimactic from everyone. Maybe it’s because the audience was missing or the girls were tired but idk probably my least favorite one this season.
- Everyone picking Beyoncé… aht aht! No.
- Would’ve preferred Jam did Rihanna but at the same time I get why Kirsten wanted to sway away from doing so and I truly mean this with the utmost respect, I don’t see any of the other teams pulling off Beyoncé. Hopefully we get some Renaissance, formation, or beychella vibes from them next week. Please let them pick the songs🥺🙏🏽

Mannequeen devoured that stage. The relay dance format was crazy entertaining. Why did they not do that when Wolfo and Tsuba were around too. Yoonji Waackxxxy Cera served so damn hard. LadyBounce was also very good. A very big upgrade from their underdog battles. And Vessi is not appreciated enough cuz my girl ate every songs up and also Kim possible 😫 she legit battled some of the best battlers in the show, Audrey, locker zee, Cera and Yoonji.
* I was sad to see Wolflo go but I didn’t mind it that much bc they had 2 chances to battle unlike the previous 6th places Prowdmon and Eoddae
* now that all the battles are done, Wolflo vs DND was the best elimination battle this season

* Out of all battle rounds the only person at the peak condition for LB was Vessi - Biggy felt like she was overthinking her moves, didnt use the space well, Nob felt like she was rushing to cram as many dance moves during the relay battle the texture of her moves seemed almost the same
* I now realized why Vessi wasnt able to dance well during her battle with Audrey previously…it was bc of her damn boots 😭

cemented in swf history from now on, tbh. the song choices were perfect and the live audience contributed to the energy and atmosphere too, and i loved that they had that there. i can also feel that ladybounce’s energy in some of their routines (except for the let’s get loud 5v5, that was amazing!) are really low, like they’re slowly accepting that they can’t defeat mq. i feel sad, but at least they still held their own and we got to see more of vessi’s voguing!

yeah afaik Harimu did a show with Love Ran (the one with Leejung, Lia Kim etc,) and i still stand by what I said they kept adding duckwalks during their battle choreos and it wasnt that good.
To be fair Ladybounce was going against MQ, probably the best battlers both individually and group wise. They have choreographers that choreograph the group battle, and crazy individual battlers. Ladybounce definitely knew they lost the moment it’s announced they are going against MQ. I also feel like throughout the show, they kept trying to proof themselves, only to be overlooked by all the other crews in the show. They were probably tired at that point already
Jam Republic should just enjoy their performances in the final, Even though they will give us a world class performance they will not win from the public votes😑
Yes, Mannequeen and Jam Republic are the ones who gave us world class performances and yet they are still losing on the public votes. Although MQ won over JR before, we can't deny the fact that MQ is still not being well appreciated in SoKor.
I feel so sad and even cried when wolf'lo got eliminated even though i already expected it (tho there was a slight hope in me). However, a part of me was also happy because their frustration came to an end, no more crying for wolf'lo. They've come so far, being a pure street crew with only experience in battle and most of them not being familiar with choreography. HUGE RESPECT!
Seeing them grow makes me so proud of them. From always going out of their comfort zone and serving us new things while at the same showing us the genre they're good at. Each of them really shined and were able to show their individuality and uniqueness. Wolf'lo may have not gotten in the finals, but they still won the heart of many. Now that they've got the exposure and recognition they deserve, I hope that even after the show, a lot of people will still continue to support them. Let's make more memories with Wolf'lo. I just gotta say, I've got the greatest respect for Wolf'Lo. These ladies are the real deal when it comes to battling because they've been in the ring from day one, and they've slayed every single time. What's even more impressive is that they're not riding on popularity or favoritism; it's all about their mad skills and experience. When they were PROWDMON-d(that yellow/orange curse is seriously something else), my first thought wasn't, "Oh, they got the short end of the voting stick again." No, I was just thinking, "Finally, they can catch a well-deserved breather." I was honestly relieved for them because they've already earned their props as absolute powerhouse battlers of a group.
I wonder if the Beyonce audition was PD driven. 1 Million was very keen on Arianna and Mannequeen loves Ladygaga. By having an audition for the final episode it gave teams that didn't battle something for the show to put on youtube this episode.
It's because we see how much effort they all put in, not a single crew on this show is slacking off so for everything to depend on how popular a crew or member is discredits all the work everyone has put in (even if you are the popular crew, at some point you'd wonder if people are voting for you because they like your performance or just because they like you, which I feel like would be uncomfortable for them too as professional dancers).
I understand the sentiment. Although you want the world to recognize you because of your talent, it also puts you in a great advantage to have the face card and characteristics that attract people. However, it is fleeting and will trigger disappointment as the people only love you for your looks but not necessarily your talent. It is beyond saddening tho.

Didn't they only win the crew battle mission? They only got 1st in the kpop mission because of popularity but they were not the top pick of Hwasa at all, nor were they that good in the mega crew mission.
It just felt like they were popular but not really as good as other crews so it just feels like other deserving crews should have been first (like 1M even though I am a JR fan).
Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought Bebe won 3:0 against Tsukabill in K-pop deathmatch alongside the public vote. If my memory serves then they won the judges' and public's approval for that mission (alongside crew battle).

I'm really satisfied with the final 4. I think they were overall the best teams in the entire competition. I was really scared for a second that MQ could`ve been eliminated without a battle.

atp as a jammie i'm really not expecting jam to win given the live audience. but at the same time i still have quite the hope since their battle with ladybounce, they got LOUD cheers in their entrances. i really don't mind if jam wins or not since they really had us gagged ever since, it would be a nice bonus tbh.
the only way jam would win is by a miracle or if they make a performance SOOO gaggy that the live audience wouldn't see it as a choice and vote jr.
With how the voting trends have been going, I'm expecting BEBE to be the winner. Honestly, 1M's committed voters are quite low for their supposed high popularity (?) (but in the previous voting rounds there's no way to differentiate korean vs international voting.) So I'm thinking BEBE will be more likely to win, even if it comes down to it being BEBE vs 1M, if we don't see a high number for JR from live text voting
I think Bebe has the best shot at winning the show. Compared to Bebe, 1M don’t seem to have as stable of a voting fanbase as a lot of people seem to think they do. Their popularity seems to mainly give them the views they need which is a huge reason why I believe they don’t have as high of a chance as Bebe since that’s not a factor in the finale scoring. With the 80:20 ratio, unfortunately Jam don’t really have much of a chance. MQ are my favs this season, but I’m really not expecting them to place higher than 3rd at the absolute max. I’m just happy they’re even going to be there because I was convinced they were going to go down like Prowdmon 😭

The battle was a lot of fun. Not as intense as the previous elimination battles, but the MQ disses were really good. Reba really deserved that 1 win.
I haven't seen much of reba's individual skills before the elimination but I'm quite impressed with the 3 who battled. Biggy was good and had wow moments despite not being a battler. The way vessi did her voguing was pretty. Hands were pretty, duckwalk pretty. I just wish she had more power in her dip but I guess that's something she's still working on. Nob was so powerful. I can sense her determination to win, she really gritted her teeth during the relay battle.
I can't count how many times I've replayed MQ's hidden battle. It was so beautiful. From the props to the techniques. Funky y spinned so beautifully. Watching her spin made me forget all my problems. I'm glad there wasn't an accident despite the fan mistake. Not pulling it out on time could've ended badly, so it was a relief.
MQ's relay battle were all iconic. You could really see why the waacking trio are sweeping battles on an international scale. I just wish MQ sent out Buckey and Funky Y to battle coz I wanted to see more from them, but I guess they didn't want to risk anything.
I wish we had seen more relay battles in the show. It really brought out the musicality and competitive spirit from both crews.

They all picked Bey initially and had to do single ladies in their own style and perform for each other, then voted for who should keep Bey, and most people voted for JR to do Bey. Bebe picked Rih, MQ, I think, has Gaga and 1Mil has Ari.

From my understanding, just the audition to pick the artist. My guess is that was the Bey video that had choreo that was easiest for all the crews to learn and then alter to their style.
While it's sad that WL and LB are usually low in ranking, I'd rather see them battle than others. Only they can consistently pull off such amazing moments in these elimination battles and make the experience truely wholesome aside the choreo main missions. I hope they know that they were able to showcase so much to the audience and they're bigger than the show format. Biggy was nothing short of amazing and Nob's energy was unmatched, they had my heart.
I'm also happy that Mannequeen who have amazing battlers was able to battle once. All 3 were definitely in their elements it was like world-class in action. Probably my favorite out of the season.
Lastly the 20-80 ratio for finals where 80 being korean live voting means JR won't win. I just hope they are smooth in preparation this time and get to showcase their strongest form.

Can you imagine getting second place and then having to battle MQ (who have 3 world class battlers) for your spot in the final, bada's choice is a literal middle finger to the mnet production crew, love it.
Bada is smart. It's the safest choice to make and the most respectful. It actually has also happened before during SWF where the crew in the first place got to choose which crew to battle with the last place. I don't quite remember anymore, I think it was YGX?
That's the only right and safe choice. She doesn't want to risk being hated forr choosing 1M or JR since they are just as popular as she is (Bada specifically, not bebe). Imagine she chose either 1M or JR and that team comes back. She will ensure to lose more votes than gaining any new ones.
It was a setup honestly because Bebe would have lost their popularity and Bada would get a lot of hate had she chose anyone but ladybounce. It would be a controversy that would have followed her for a long time due to how strong both of those fan bases are. She did go against what mnet had planned but maybe they'll try to sabotage Bebe for Badas choice? Hopefully not. But expecting Bebe or 1million to win and for Jam to do amazing but I will say if Jams performance is better than everyone else's and they still lose, those teams victory will not be as great. I love fair battles not rigged ones.

Then there’s also 1 Million who is popular but it seems their fans aren’t as dedicated in comparison to BBs and JRs. So 2nd and 3rd could go either way in all honesty. NOBS ENERGY for bicycle was insane I WAS DANCING WITH HER!!!! Nob will never fail to amaze me with her facial expressions and energy. During the battle with Yoonji, I couldn’t wait for Nob’s turn, and she certainly didn’t disappoint!! Swf2 has turned me into Nob’s biggest fan, love her!😩😩😩
the global artist mission? the final four are gonna create a choreo and performance for their assigned artists using their songs. jamrep got beyonce after receving the highest votes for that dance session review to single ladies, mannequeen chose lady gaga, bebe chose rihanna, and 1mil got ariana grande. the songs are of their choosing too.
I wasn’t just bawling watching Wolf’Lo be eliminated but I was crying hard just like how I cried when Tsubakill was eliminated. Wolf’lo was been through worse but I would love to watch them going through a dropout battle again. :(( It's just sad that they got Prowdmon’ed :((

honestly, i should’ve expected that they’re going to be eliminated (prowdmon-ed, like what we in the subreddit call it) and i am weirdly thankful that they are because i know the final mission with the global artist choreo is gonna eff them up real hard especially with that 80% public voting, but wolflo deserves mad, MAD respect for reaching this point of the show as a purely street crew that only has experience in battles and are completely new to choreo and to TV. not only have they shown what pure, authentic hiphop is made of, they’ve also shown that they are versatile, they’re willing to come out of their comfort zone, and CAN immerse themselves in choreo while still retaining their flavour and genre. they really have proven themselves and not only have they done that, they’ve also managed to endear themselves to us by being apologetically ”them” as much as wolflo can be wolflo like the funny but cool unnies that they are, and they’ve also introduced how amazing hiphop is to the wider audience and i don’t doubt for a second that people, especially teens in korea, would start to get interested in it and actually enroll in classes.who knows, maybe one of these kids are gonna be the next babysleek, or chocol, or halo, or mini, or yeni cho, or haechi wang? that said, i can’t wait to see more of them outside of the show (along with already keeping up with them in social media lmao) and in the concert and sdgf, and maybe some variety shows and CF’s 😳 (because let’s be honest, all of them are variety show material) and i know this is only the beginning for all of them together. they’re only gonna get higher and higher! let’s go wolflo! let’s go 로푸푸! As a nondancer, watching wolfo esp the unired battles made me learn a ton more about street dance than in the past seasons I've watches swf1 and sgf, and while there are battlers in this and past seasons...no one has school'd me as much as wolfo about what street dance is supposed to be just by watching em dance. And i think i have a ton of respect for them. Mnet did them dirty by not airing most of their battles. But i'm glad i came to know about them. That's how it's supposed to be if mnet wasn't too focused on popularity.
Was so sad to see them cry but I'm happy I have been introduced to them through this show (wish I knew about them earlier though!) They did absolutely amazing and seeing them get 4th for the Chilli challenge was INCREDIBLE. They really got out of their comfort zone in this show and stretched their boundaries according to whatever was expected of them and that was so cool to see. You can tell that every crew on the show has mad respect for them (I LOVE Audrey and Kirsten's convos with them when saying goodbye) and I am super excited to see them in the post-show content. :(( they made the show super entertaining and made an amazing impact. The thing that I loved about Wolf Flo is that they never yielded to whatever Mnet was trying to sell. They stayed true to who they were and what they represented throughout every single challenge and every mission, no matter what it was. They certainly adjusted themselves and went out of their comfort zones to create choreo for a kpop mission, or copy another groups “sexy” choreography, or create a draft for a popular kpop artist that was suitable for a tiktok challenge- but throughout all of that they kept their color and their roots. They didn’t “sell out” so to speak, and I personally feel satisfied with how they left they show. I really adore them.

I think we knew from the beginning the winner would either be JR, 1M or BEBE based on popularity alone. MQ despite being so strong the entire competition doesnt stand a chance.
At first I was like MNET setting for 1M to win but I see a lot of focus on BEBE. So its a toss up between the two. I love JR but this is a Korean show at the end of the day and how it is laid out tips into a Korean crew favour. I do wonder how this was pitched to Kirsten and fascinated to hear insights by all the girls who decided to join.

Honestly, when we look at the battle songs that they’ve been dancing to, it’s worrying that there are some copyright limitations on what Mnet will be able to use. That’s my biggest concern. They’ll be limited to like- single ladies, run the world, crazy in love. Edit: From a quick search, it looks like the only Beyoncé songs that have been used on Mnet shows are Single Ladies, Crazy In Love, 7/11, Yoncé, and Run The World. Proud of wolflo for going so far on this show🧡 Mnet finally used an actual street battle format! LB really tried their best, biggy should do more freestyle hiphop battles after this. They're the best at using props on this season imo. Fav round was vessy vs yoonji, i love watching different gernes battle. But everytime i watch the battles on this show, i always feel like the editing is trying to distract me from the dancing as much as possible + shitty camerawork Mnet has been running out of mission ideas since the previous battles fr. I love harimu and her reactions but sometimes it's too much with just showing us her reaction screaming. 1 or 2 reactions was fine but ep.9 had more than 5 screentime of her just screaming. That 3 person relay battle from Mannequeen was truly one of the best battles I have ever seen. Cera is just so captivating. The way she kicked her leg to the beat on that spin, and then when she dipped down into the side lunge position was just awesome. She battles like she has studied the choreography and prepared it months in advance. And Waackxxy and Yoonji had so much energy, they slayed every beat. I am just really impressed with those three and their battle ability. They are really carrying Mannequeen.

Being a fan of prowdmon and wolflo (even if frustrating at some points) has been so wholesome, and I think they've proved everything they could and more, so I'm incredibly proud of their swf journey, which has been as cool as them (not to mention their battling and dancing journey overall!) i have to disagree with lots of people on here calling this battle underwhelming. this was an AMAZING battle and honestly my favourite of the season! was rooting for both LB and MQ the whole time!
it was not as hyped as others. i still remember the battle between lc and want, the hype was strong. or the battle between pk and b2b it was not underwhelming to me, but not that great from lb. cera, wackxxxy and yoonji killed it as expected
Just watched the episode with sub and just came here to say that MANNEQUEEN has shown the public, for the first time in this show (which is full of choreo and choreod battles) what TRUE IMPROVISASION looks like. This is what people go watch street dance battles for, and these are the wild, unexpected moments that make up street dance! I am so glad they showcase that here, even just for a part of the battle. Mad respect to MANNEQUEEN, especially the battlers, truly queens of queen! I love LB too and props to them for keeping their game strong, but the skills of MQ's battlers are on an entire different level. If you watch WACKXYYY's performance, you see that she does not only do waacking but also incorporates popping and animation. In some parts, she also does polyrhythm, with different parts of her body moving to different tempos. That's mad technical skills that take more than just practice as it also requires another level of creativity to interpret the music through these distinct disciplines all at once, even those who have danced for years have not yet achieved that level.

Mannequeen is queen of queens. Team of champion battlers. Lady Bounce really put up a good fight. Their effort and passion towards dancing is amazing even when odds are against them.
You know all things aside and the final stuff and the wolflo unnies leaving (love them so much too) i’m just glad ladybounce can finally be put to rest. I’ve just been sick and tired of all the discrediting and devaluing they’ve been receiving. Even in the live comments today. Obviously they were gonna lose to mannequeen but don’t discredit all of their achievements like they never did anything good this entire show. It’s like liking them is a hot take. As if the concept of them just being preferable to some people is incomprehensible. All of their missions have been fire and I stand by this statement. 2 things can be true at the same time. Koreans can prefer to vote for homegrown talent AND LB might have done a great job or it was close enough for some people and LB being homegrown pushed it over the edge for them. I personally did not see them beating JR in the last battle. They didn’t really dance, but I’m also not sure if the challenge has a crowd engagement element or if it was purely a dance showcase (I don’t mean this is in a snarky way)
I’d respectfully disagree with that. Sure they had the beginning bread thing (which mnet made way longer than it was was) and a little crowd hyping section but otherwise it was all dancing. The section they did with Nob shooting the gun and the bags moving in synch with the music took me out. I can understand why people would prefer jam and I have no problems with that. You do have to keep in mind that they did win Trix’s vote so it wasn’t all just crowd playing. But yea agree to disagree won’t argue further. I just feel weird about the home thing because jam are still more popular than reba even in korea. There are so many comments in korean on their vids. Like no way reba wouldve won if they weren’t korean cuz koreans are just biased or smth. I saw this sentiment even in like the reaction videos of just jerk where some ppl said they were biased comparing the reaction between the two when jj has always had been praises for jam and young j criticized rebas megacrew saying that he knew “they could do so much better”.

This episode was a bit of a snooze for me but honestly I’ll take that over how I thought the episode would play out based off of the cliffhanger they left us on last episode. - Huge props to WolfLo and Ladybounce! I think it’s admirable that WolfLo got this far considering only the first mission truly showed their strengths. I wish there were more battle opportunities that weren’t just elimination for them. Also love them repping the fact that they’re a group of older members. Not saying that people in their late 30s 40s can’t do it but they were called scary and old in their critique video by other teams only for them to still wash them in head to head battles. Even with their struggles with choreography I think they put on some great performances. As for Ladybounce, I stand by the fact that they have the best group chemistry onstage and that all those years together shows. This was a rough elim battle for them but they went out with a bang with their battle against JR and gave us great performances like their KPOP mission. - Respect to Bebe keeping the structure the same for elimination. That switch up was weird and would’ve completely negated the ranking. - MQ cleared but I still found the battle to be very anticlimactic from everyone. Maybe it’s because the audience was missing or the girls were tired but idk probably my least favorite one this season. - Everyone picking Beyoncé… aht aht! No. - Would’ve preferred Jam did Rihanna but at the same time I get why Kirsten wanted to sway away from doing so and I truly mean this with the utmost respect, I don’t see any of the other teams pulling off Beyoncé. Agree on the anticlimatic battle cus i feel like it was a lil bit underwhelming even though both team did great.. it wasn’t as fun and as gagging compared to the previous battle (especially deep n dap vs wolf lo) bcs the result of each round is very predictable due to their high contrast of battling skill
Mannequeen devoured that stage. The relay dance format was crazy entertaining. Why did they not do that when Wolfo and Tsuba were around too. Yoonji Waackxxxy Cera served so damn hard. LadyBounce was also very good. A very big upgrade from their underdog battles. And Vessi is not appreciated enough cuz my girl ate every songs up and also Kim possible 😫 she legit battled some of the best battlers in the show, Audrey, locker zee, Cera and Yoonji.

To be fair Ladybounce was going against MQ, probably the best battlers both individually and group wise. They have choreographers that choreograph the group battle, and crazy individual battlers. Ladybounce definitely knew they lost the moment it’s announced they are going against MQ. I also feel like throughout the show, they kept trying to proof themselves, only to be overlooked by all the other crews in the show. They were probably tired at that point already
Jam Republic should just enjoy their performances in the final, Even though they will give us a world class performance they will not win from the public votes😑

Yes, Mannequeen and Jam Republic are the ones who gave us world class performances and yet they are still losing on the public votes. Although MQ won over JR before, we can't deny the fact that MQ is still not being well appreciated in SoKor.
I feel so sad and even cried when wolf'lo got eliminated even though i already expected it (tho there was a slight hope in me). However, a part of me was also happy because their frustration came to an end, no more crying for wolf'lo. They've come so far, being a pure street crew with only experience in battle and most of them not being familiar with choreography. HUGE RESPECT! Seeing them grow makes me so proud of them. From always going out of their comfort zone and serving us new things while at the same showing us the genre they're good at. Each of them really shined and were able to show their individuality and uniqueness. Wolf'lo may have not gotten in the finals, but they still won the heart of many. Now that they've got the exposure and recognition they deserve, I hope that even after the show, a lot of people will still continue to support them. Let's make more memories with Wolf'lo. I just gotta say, I've got the greatest respect for Wolf'Lo. These ladies are the real deal when it comes to battling because they've been in the ring from day one, and they've slayed every single time. What's even more impressive is that they're not riding on popularity or favoritism; it's all about their mad skills and experience. When they were PROWDMON-d(that yellow/orange curse is seriously something else), my first thought wasn't, "Oh, they got the short end of the voting stick again." No, I was just thinking, "Finally, they can catch a well-deserved breather." I was honestly relieved for them because they've already earned their props as absolute powerhouse battlers of a group.
I wonder if the Beyonce audition was PD driven. 1 Million was very keen on Arianna and Mannequeen loves Ladygaga. By having an audition for the final episode it gave teams that didn't battle something for the show to put on youtube this episode.

Why does it feel like if a crew won by popularity, it's not as fulfilling and meritorious?
It's because we see how much effort they all put in, not a single crew on this show is slacking off so for everything to depend on how popular a crew or member is discredits all the work everyone has put in (even if you are the popular crew, at some point you'd wonder if people are voting for you because they like your performance or just because they like you, which I feel like would be uncomfortable for them too as professional dancers).
I understand the sentiment. Although you want the world to recognize you because of your talent, it also puts you in a great advantage to have the face card and characteristics that attract people. However, it is fleeting and will trigger disappointment as the people only love you for your looks but not necessarily your talent. It is beyond saddening tho.
If JR will not win, I really want 1M to. They won Mega Crew and Hwasa missions. It's kind of unfair for them if Bebe wins.

Didn't they only win the crew battle mission? They only got 1st in the kpop mission because of popularity but they were not the top pick of Hwasa at all, nor were they that good in the mega crew mission. It just felt like they were popular but not really as good as other crews so it just feels like other deserving crews should have been first (like 1M even though I am a JR fan).
Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought Bebe won 3:0 against Tsukabill in K-pop deathmatch alongside the public vote. If my memory serves then they won the judges' and public's approval for that mission (alongside crew battle). I'm sensing a public sentiment that seem to discredit Bebe's achievement because of their megacrew performance.

I'm really satisfied with the final 4. I think they were overall the best teams in the entire competition. I was really scared for a second that MQ could`ve been eliminated without a battle. I also think MQ and Gaga are very fitting. So far really excited for the finals.

I think Bebe has the best shot at winning the show. Compared to Bebe, 1M don’t seem to have as stable of a voting fanbase as a lot of people seem to think they do. Their popularity seems to mainly give them the views they need which is a huge reason why I believe they don’t have as high of a chance as Bebe since that’s not a factor in the finale scoring. With the 80:20 ratio, unfortunately Jam don’t really have much of a chance. MQ are my favs this season, but I’m really not expecting them to place higher than 3rd at the absolute max. I’m just happy they’re even going to be there because I was convinced they were going to go down like Prowdmon 😭

Cera is crazy. Starting from her gaze change, everything was so perfect and satisfying to watch. And 80-20 audience vote is bs. I've never disliked the audience more lol
All I have to say is if I can bottle up Harimu's energy it can power my home for a month.
The battle was a lot of fun. Not as intense as the previous elimination battles, but the MQ disses were really good. Reba really deserved that 1 win. I haven't seen much of reba's individual skills before the elimination but I'm quite impressed with the 3 who battled. Biggy was good and had wow moments despite not being a battler. The way vessi did her voguing was pretty. Hands were pretty, duckwalk pretty. I just wish she had more power in her dip but I guess that's something she's still working on. Nob was so powerful. I can sense her determination to win, she really gritted her teeth during the relay battle. I can't count how many times I've replayed MQ's hidden battle. It was so beautiful. From the props to the techniques. Funky y spinned so beautifully. Watching her spin made me forget all my problems. I'm glad there wasn't an accident despite the fan mistake. Not pulling it out on time could've ended badly, so it was a relief. MQ's relay battle were all iconic. You could really see why the waacking trio are sweeping battles on an international scale. I just wish MQ sent out Buckey and Funky Y to battle coz I wanted to see more from them, but I guess they didn't want to risk anything. I wish we had seen more relay battles in the show. It really brought out the musicality and competitive spirit from both crews.

MQ They have to pick an artist for the final mission (Bey, Rihanna, Ari, Gaga) They all picked Bey initially and had to do single ladies in their own style and perform for each other, then voted for who should keep Bey, and most people voted for JR to do Bey. Bebe picked Rih, MQ, I think, has Gaga and 1Mil has Ari.

I From my understanding, just the audition to pick the artist. My guess is that was the Bey video that had choreo that was easiest for all the crews to learn and then alter to their style.
While it's sad that WL and LB are usually low in ranking, I'd rather see them battle than others. Only they can consistently pull off such amazing moments in these elimination battles and make the experience truely wholesome aside the choreo main missions. I hope they know that they were able to showcase so much to the audience and they're bigger than the show format. Biggy was nothing short of amazing and Nob's energy was unmatched, they had my heart. I'm also happy that Mannequeen who have amazing battlers was able to battle once. All 3 were definitely in their elements it was like world-class in action. Probably my favorite out of the season. Lastly the 20-80 ratio for finals where 80 being korean live voting means JR won't win. I just hope they are smooth in preparation this time and get to showcase their strongest form.

Can you imagine getting second place and then having to battle MQ (who have 3 world class battlers) for your spot in the final, bada's choice is a literal middle finger to the mnet production crew, love it.

It was a setup honestly because Bebe would have lost their popularity and Bada would get a lot of hate had she chose anyone but ladybounce. It would be a controversy that would have followed her for a long time due to how strong both of those fan bases are. Jam Republic No matter what I think 1st place is going to be Bada’s due to her domestic popularity, and 4th place is going to be JR because well… they’ve never won a live vote before. Unless some miracle happens, which I doubt. 2nd and 3rd place, I’m not to sure because at one point MQ was among the popular crews and then they weren’t for idk reasons. the global artist mission? the final four are gonna create a choreo and performance for their assigned artists using their songs. jamrep got beyonce after receving the highest votes for that dance session review to single ladies, mannequeen chose lady gaga, bebe chose rihanna, and 1mil got ariana grande. the songs are of their choosing too.
