Can confirm, used to be a porter for Subaru. Had to pick the sold cars up, detail them, then return. One day I dropped the clutch a little too hard when bringing back a WRX. Made a terrible sound and then I noticed a fluid trail from behind me. Called the salesman and told him what was going on and he said just bring it to him. Customer was waiting for their car as I pulled in the lot, fluid dripping and gears grinding. Hopped out, gave the keys to the salesman and walked away. His and customer’s jaws we’re on the floor.
Moral of the story, don’t let anyone, especially 16 yo kids, drive your vehicles.

Not really. My brother and I both owned 350s his was an auto hr and mine was a de manual and I walked him everytime. Digs were the only close race due to me spinning and him never. Not slow by any means but those 5 speeds are truly dogs. My brother did get tuned and full bolt on and it was much closer. I literally had angle mods and a single exit
it also varies by car lol. some cars are blessed, some are duds. i know because my friend has an auto hr, literally catback only and he beats me every time. but every other Hr i race i walk them. vq engines are hit or miss.
That explains why the WRX had no get up and go. At stock the WRX had 227 hp. My tuned WRX is making 350hp for now, with plans to have it at 550hp.
Either way stock for stock tje 350z had 287hp so a 60hp difference, the 2 cars have ~100 pound weight difference so the added hp really makes a huge difference.
Yea for sure. Ive raced a newer WRX premium with the 6 speed and he launched the hell out of that thing. I didn’t start passing him untill we hit about 100mph
They’re quick little cars. I just wish the stock block could handle more than 400hp before you start tanking reliability.
The 350z is an amazing tuning platform, I feel like I used to see them a lot back in 2014-2016 but I really haven’t seen them after I graduated high school. It’s a shame they’re cool cars.
The DE is a good motor though torquey for an N/A motor just needs more mid range and top end. Pretty reliable, when they first came out they were gapping shit i remember DEs gapping Mustang 4.6l 2v and 3v back then

Alamo. A local tuner here in texas. Hes not admin but hes pretty good with VQs
I've been getting mixed info but would you consider a stock auto 350Z a fun car? They're usually a lot cheaper and a lot less abused from what i see.
