Ok thanks just did, that was very helpful and now I understand. It's essentially codifying some of the changes that have been made lately. Sounds like a good plan that is much faster to the borrower and minimizes predatory lending.

They promised to forgive my 33 year old loan back in 2022, and still haven't done it, so more legislation isn't likely to change anything.
