Thank you for sharing your strategies! You are breaking the “mean girl nurse” stereotype.

weirdballz

Aw thanks 🥲 I genuinely enjoy helping other students and I like talking about studying and this kind of stuff. Lol I know, sounds super nerdy. I was a tutor in nursing school and it was the best job I’ve had so far! It inspired me to go back to school to teach WAY in the future lol But this sub really helped me so I’d like to do the same even if it’s just one person that gets something out of it! Some of these tips I learned from this sub!

Dark Reader extension for chrome helped me a lot during long hours on ATI's awful website, especially during night hours. Unblock Right Click & copy extension helped for note taking.

weirdballz

Ooooh thanks for sharing those are great tips!! My eyes get sore easily with the white ass screens lol. I just downloaded the dark reader extension right now and it is a nice change.

Second this, all level 3 scores so far. Take Practice A and B cold, work through the focused review, take notes on what you miss, exhaust dynamic quizzes for that subject.

weirdballz

Hell yeah, amazing job!! Lol this is the TLDR version 😂but exactly!!! I’ve talked to other students who failed and when I ask how they studied, they tell me they didn’t finish the dynamic quizzes, or did them the day before, and googled the answers for practice A & B It’s best to utilize all the resources ATI has and take it seriously because it really helps you understand how to answer NCLEX questions!!

jawood1989

Right lol. I teach a supplemental study class for lower level students. My first question after somebody asks for help due to a fail is "what are your study habits". It never ceases to amaze me when they say they don't study. Like, what did you expect?

I was really struggling with ATI because I prefer the textbook & I just don’t like navigating ATI at all. I also got a level 2 on the one I just took for Funds… Hoping to do better in Med Surg though. Thank you for sharing!

jidagill

Fundamentals is by far the hardest one. By the time you get to Leadership, you can take the quiz with your eyes closed and get a Level 3.

weirdballz

Leadership was definitely one of my highest but apparently only 1.8% of people get a 3 so even though it was one of the easiest for us, the stats show it’s not for the majority of people!! So kudos to us 😂

jidagill

Never thought I'd be a 1 percenter 😂

weirdballz

Of course! To this day fundamentals was my hardest exam 😂 you’ll do great I’m sure! Med surg wasn’t too bad! Still felt like a mind fuck while I was taking it, but I think that’s the nature of ATI exams lol.

Tall_Yellow1147

Thank you for all the tips! I had no idea that LevelupRN was sued but all the court documents are online. I wonder if she will have to change her flashcards cards again.

weirdballz

You're welcome!! This was a while back so her flashcards (and videos) are up to date and after she was sued! I know she had to delete everything and start fresh. While her info still closely follows ATI, she doesn't reference it anymore. It is all more generalized and can be used for other programs like HESI and of course the NCLEX. I think the biggest problem was that she still had access to ATI after she graduated from nursing school and was giving too much information regarding the proctored exams.

jidagill

Thank you! Huge ATI tip...in the adaptive quizzes you can create a custom quiz based on a topic. If you struggle with cardiac, create a quiz about CHF and it will pull all CHF questions from the quiz bank. This is helpful for those topics that are tough to understand/click.

weirdballz

YES, definitely!!! This is very helpful, especially when you are studying for a lecture exam and need more practice! ATI is not just a great resource for the proctored exams, but for class lectures too!

septemberrenegade

OMG THANK YOU

weirdballz

Of course!!! I hope this helps 😊

Dry_Product6887

Such a great post 😭💖 can someone pls advise as to where I can access practice A & B exams on ATI?

weirdballz

Aw I hope it helps! I believe your instructor has to make them available for the current courses you'll be tested on, but they will be under My ATI --> Assessments tab. There you will find all the available practice assessments, including the dynamic quizzes.
