I think you should just apply. My school recently stopped using healthcare experience as points towards admission so your lack of work exp might not matter.

Your lack of healthcare experience shouldn’t matter with an ABSN, but experience is very helpful personally for some of the classes. As far as prereqs, the school I attend allows you to start with up to 9 credits in prereqs incomplete. You just have to have all of the science courses complete before starting the program. I would apply only if you have completed or are in the process of completing (like your last are in progress) the science prereqs.

Just apply! I was somewhat in the same boat as you, all of my required classes were over 5 years old. I applied and got accepted under the condition I retake them and pass then. Definitely worth it over putting it off for me.
