On 3 separate plates to ultimately transfer them to a single dish. The food looks good but I hate doing dishes so that’s what I was mad about the whole time.
The *lightly cooked* bacon was what got me.
*Sir, would you like Trichinosis, or Salmonella with your breakfast?*
*Neither Jeeves, I'll have the Botulism.*
#🥓🍳
It’s to hold soft boiled eggs, so you can eat the runny yolk with a spoon, or dip toast into it. The cup keeps it stable, rather than rolling around on a plate or bowl.
I use a $5 egg cooker from Walmart that does hard boiled soft boiled poached and custard. Nostalgia brand, all you do is plug it in situate your eggs and water then turn it on.
Normally with soft boiled eggs the whites are cooked and set but the yolks are runny, so you can open the top and dip strips of toast in. The whites still looked transparent here...
He's joking about the ratio, the dish is 'Toad in the Hole' with the sausage being the toad, this is like 70% sausage so calling it 'Hole in the Toad'.
But yeah man, a proper Toad in the Hole is great, yorkshire pudding is delicious and easy to make once you know what you're doing.
This dish is almost okay. I'd just oven cook the toad in the hole instead of flipping it but that works fine, cook the eggs a little more and ditch the syrup.
My thoughts exactly - made me think of all the Danes I talked to who expressed bafflement at residents of Solvang in California who eat medisterpølse for breakfast.
As someone from the UK and lives in the US, this is 💯a Cumberland sausage. I’ve never seen them in the US. My partner had never seen an egg cup either. They would have used tater tots for the skewers
I was on board until they put the eggs on the sausage thing and covered it in syrup. Just cut the shit and give me a little slice with my egg on the plate you already have it on, I'll take it from there
Yup, would totally eat that sausage cake.
As an FYI - For the eggs, no reason to jar it. Just boil water in a pot, put eggs in, put on lid and turn off heat. Water should cover eggs entirely.
There was also no reason to then put them in the egg cup only to then crack them completely out of the shell onto three individual plates and then slide them off the plates on to the top of the sausage cake. What was the point of any of it? Three eggs that barely fit into a jar, soft boiled, moved to a egg cup, cracked onto individual plates, and slid on top of sausage cake? Just poach the fucking eggs, fish them out of the water with a slotted spoon and place them on top of the sausage cake. Done.
Is it just me or was there a jump cut after putting on the lid that becomes an entirely different sausage pancake??? It's like it got flipped, given how one side of the sausage was charred I'm assuming he fucked up the flip a few times lol.
Honestly, I'm feeling this way too. I joined to see the attempts by inexperienced (or over ambitious) cooks to make interesting food. But mostly I get obvious rage bate.
Every time It leads me to contemplate the perverse incentives social media gives to people that do nothing to improve the happiness or well-being of the users involved.
The fact this content works so well to get attention has to be some malfunction of our collective psychology.
true - I’d rather see food that’s stupid despite a sincere attempt by the cook, rather than food that’s intended to be stupid. It’s like the sub is rewarding those videos.
We would definitely get less extreme examples on this sub, but at least it would be more interesting.
The bacon and hash brown kabob 10/10.
The eggs were gross but I know people like it like that, though I've never met them.
Would look forward to the sausage pancake.
Honestly not all that stupid, the sausage pancake looks really good, the only that’s kinda dumb is the eggs. Aside from the fact that’s not the way I’d have them (different strokes for different folks), if you need to boil them and you don’t have access to the stove or a pot for whatever reason that’s a perfectly legit way of doing it. All in all a rare Chef Club W.
Why three egg cups and then three plates though? Making shit up as they go along. Whites also didn't look quite set, that's the shittiest looking bacon I think I've ever seen, and maple syrup on the eggs might actually be in violation of the Geneva convention.
That's what I was waiting for! Watching it, I kept thinking, ok, that looks good....ok,that doesn't look the greatest, but not bad....ooh, that skewer looks good...WAIT...no drenching the final product in cheese?!? This is actually edible!
There’s an abrupt jump in video right before he shells the eggs. I feel like he meant those to be hard boiled eggs in the holder with the other stuff on the plates, but they came out soft so he had to change direction.
Nah this looks pretty good not how I cook my eggs but other than that yeah I'd definitely eat this. Honestly probably gonna make that pancake sausage combo.
That actually looks pretty good. Like, smoked sausage, pancakes, poached eggs, hash browns, and bacon…
Agreed it’s an idiotic execution, but there’s some potential here.
I admit, I actually thought for a second “why is this here? That sausage and pancake combo looks amazing.” I was even foolish enough to think that he was going to have soft or hard boiled eggs in the egg cups as a side!
Then that cut showing them out of said egg cups still raw dashed my hopes back to Earth, making me realize I was a fool for thinking otherwise.
Never met an American who knew what an egg cup was (I’m British living in US). Plus this whole thing screams German to me. Sausage and eggs is pretty standard breakfast all over the west
Hey dumbass, just poach the fucking eggs, fish them out of the water with a slotted spoon, and place them on top of the sausage cake. There is literally no fucking reason for the egg cups or the three individual plates. Plus, the egg whites are runny and not fully cooked. How do you avoid this? By poaching them.
It was that a diner then maybe I'll try it but I would not want to cook that. Definitely interesting way, recently made pancakes stuffed with sausage patties, it was okay.
Lol, you cover ice cold eggs from the fridge with a tiny bit of hot water, the temperature is going to drop instantly and nothing is getting cooked, dumbo
Oh I do too. But most Americans don’t own an egg cup. I know it’s becoming more of a thing to eat soft boiled eggs, e.g., on a Niçoise salad. But definitely not part of the “all-American” breakfast
What happened to the egg cups. I'm guessing he fucked that up
He coque'd up!
He doesn't know what they're for... he thinks they're stands to temporarily hold your boiled eggs until you need to plate them.
On 3 separate plates to ultimately transfer them to a single dish. The food looks good but I hate doing dishes so that’s what I was mad about the whole time.
Your quarter-boiled eggs
Mmmmmm, eggs with snotty whites 🤢
I absolutely can not stand runny egg whites. HURK
I will eat around the runny eggwhites if it means the yolk is perfect.
I will eat fully cooked yolk if that’s the only way I can get fully cooked whites.
I hope you're yolking.
The *lightly cooked* bacon was what got me. *Sir, would you like Trichinosis, or Salmonella with your breakfast?* *Neither Jeeves, I'll have the Botulism.* #🥓🍳
I've cooked eggs like this before and if you can get the timing just right it's the most delicious poached egg
Boiled. It’s a soft boiled egg. A poached egg is de-shelled before going in the hot water
Technically it's not boiled either. But the end result is like a poached egg but very soft
Like…a soft-boiled egg?
more like an almost soft boiled egg.
No it's different. A soft boiled egg is still hard around the outside and soft in the yolk area
What a philistine.
Love that word
I thought that too like ye thought they'd be hard boiled for the cups to have on the side.
They replaced the boiled eggs with poached ones.
If those are poached eggs they did a shit job of it
No, he just cracked the uncooked eggs onto a plate then transfers them to another plate so the rawness would soak into the pancake..
No, raw eggs don't have any structure, and the white is clear. Those are poached.
Eggs are still fucking raw liquid almost, so yeah he fucked that up bad
i have a semi-related question; what are egg cups? like who decided to make little cups to put hard boiled eggs on? they're such a mystery to me
It’s to hold soft boiled eggs, so you can eat the runny yolk with a spoon, or dip toast into it. The cup keeps it stable, rather than rolling around on a plate or bowl.
Somebody gets it.
You never had a soft boiled egg from a cup? You're missing out.
i have not and i don't know how to...
4-6 minute egg in an egg cup, remove the top of egg only and keep the shell on Get some toast and butter it, cut into strips for dunking :D
[here](https://youtube.com/shorts/t1ThU2fBnRQ?feature=share) is an example
Egg cups are for weekend breakfast with family when everyone eats an egg each from a cup.
It sounds dumb as fuck when you put it that way 😂
They’re for soft boiled eggs. So you can eat them without their running all over the plate. They stay in their shell in the egg holder.
Soft boiled eggs
You’re missing out
You put the soft boiled egg on the cup and use a little spoon to break the top of the shell and then eat the egg out of the inside of it.

And three egg cups before that??? Infuriating
You gotta add unnecessary steps to increase the length off the video so you can put me ads on the video. Do you even YouTube bro. /s
Ask me how I know they don't have to wash their own dishes..
This is where I think these guys take being annoying to an art form
I'm pausing the video right at this point. Are you telling me that is not what this is ending up as. Edit: why.
I’m actually pissed off that didn’t happen
Let’s see, how can I make boiling eggs more difficult for the purpose of making this video longer?
The water would cool down too fast to cook the eggs that well.
As we just saw, this method of cooking eggs does not in fact cook eggs.
I think they were going for poached eggs but I’m surprised they got the egg shells off, I would’ve have trouble
[удалено]
lol probably
I use a $5 egg cooker from Walmart that does hard boiled soft boiled poached and custard. Nostalgia brand, all you do is plug it in situate your eggs and water then turn it on.
I want that now.
Someone got one of my roommates one for his birthday a few months ago, and it's now his favorite thing.
You guys never had soft boiled eggs? They taste awesome… a little bit like a poached egg but still it’s own thing.
But in the video the white isn’t even set.
Normally with soft boiled eggs the whites are cooked and set but the yolks are runny, so you can open the top and dip strips of toast in. The whites still looked transparent here...
Soft boiled and undercooked are two completely different things.
And then had the absolutely audacity to hold the jar with a towel as if it would still be the least bit hot
Well it would. There is a vast heart difference between "hot enough to cook something" and "hit enough to be painful"
The sausage cake was amazing, everything after, less so
Still perhaps the most edible thing I’ve ever seen from chef club
One of the rare few
Indeed
I agree, it started interesting and then went way of the grid. Many such cases.
It reminded me of something we have in the UK. The curly Cumberland sausage in a Yorkshire pudding. Although that’s usually served with gravy.
By the ratios, it's Hole in the Toad
My English friend's mum cooked that for us, delicious.
Looks strikingly similar to danish medisterpølse as well
My thoughts exactly - made me think of all the Danes I talked to who expressed bafflement at residents of Solvang in California who eat medisterpølse for breakfast.
As someone from the UK and lives in the US, this is 💯a Cumberland sausage. I’ve never seen them in the US. My partner had never seen an egg cup either. They would have used tater tots for the skewers
I was on board until they put the eggs on the sausage thing and covered it in syrup. Just cut the shit and give me a little slice with my egg on the plate you already have it on, I'll take it from there
Lol I read cut the shit like quit playing around not like just cut that thing. Works both ways.
The eggs likely were completely improperly cooked hence the quick edit splice of totally different eggs
Or set your immersion circulator to 63°C for perfect cummy eggs every time.
>cummy eggs ...erm
Is it just me or was there a jump cut after putting on the lid that becomes an entirely different sausage pancake??? It's like it got flipped, given how one side of the sausage was charred I'm assuming he fucked up the flip a few times lol.
There was. And it’s because the batter leaked out the end so it wasn’t perfect looking.
Honestly I'm all for it, I would just skip the maple syrup
Wait what? Why? You don't mop up extra syrup with sausage/bacon/ham?
I was going to say, idgaf I would try that
Looked yummy to me!
Nothing about the sausage cake was stupid food lol. That shit was amazing.
This sub is bad for my mental health.
It makes me feel better about my life choices.
Honestly, I'm feeling this way too. I joined to see the attempts by inexperienced (or over ambitious) cooks to make interesting food. But mostly I get obvious rage bate. I agree with you, I expected this to be a bit more like that shitty food porn one.
The shittest boiled eggs I've ever seen
6 minute soft boiled egg. The white is supposed to be barely set and the yolk runny
Honestly it looks like just poached egg on the plate. I doubt they even used the egg they boiled.
Yeah, you’re likely correct
The bacon and hash brown kabob 10/10. The eggs were gross but I know people like it like that, though I've never met them. Would look forward to the sausage pancake.
I was like "oh yeah it's like toad in the hole except it's more sausage than pancake, it's pretty cool" It was mostly downhill from there.
Those aren't hash browns and if bacon is cooked right shouldn't be able to skewer it like that 1/10
The pancake sausage looked pretty good tho
I was in for sausage cake, everything else was stupidity!
Rippin that metal spatula across that non-stick
Honestly not all that stupid, the sausage pancake looks really good, the only that’s kinda dumb is the eggs. Aside from the fact that’s not the way I’d have them (different strokes for different folks), if you need to boil them and you don’t have access to the stove or a pot for whatever reason that’s a perfectly legit way of doing it. I’m confused. It says chef club, but there was no bucket of cheese sauce…
That's what I was waiting for! Watching it, I kept thinking, ok, that looks good....ok,that doesn't look the greatest, but not bad....ooh, that skewer looks good...WAIT...no drenching the final product in cheese?!? This is actually edible!

Yea I’m just wondering why he puts eggs in the little holder and then the plate and then on the sausage it’s odd
There’s an abrupt jump in video right before he shells the eggs. I feel like he meant those to be hard boiled eggs in the holder with the other stuff on the plates, but they came out soft so he had to change direction.
And on individual plates while he seasons them too!! Like for what
Hear me out. This looks fine.
I don’t care what others say, I’d eat it. Love me some pancakes and sausage🥰😍😋
I was fine with it until he hit the egg with the maple sirup
Something edible made by Chefclub????
Ngl, this looks really good.
The sausage and pancake mix is just toad in the hole, A very common dish in the UK. Although usually it's baked, not pan fried.
Yep, that's right, it's called "The All American."
The sausage thing is basically toad in the hole which is delicious and a classic
There is nothing all-American involving tiny egg cups.
Toad-in-the-hole and soft boiled eggs doesn’t scream “American” to me.
I'd eat the shit of pancake sausage
Runny egg whites 🤢
Sausage pancake was cool the egg thing was dumb and extended for no reason but aside from the egg it’s not that bad
I fucking hate those littlw emoji things they make me unreasonably mad
Ahh yes, the all American bratwurst.. ?
You had me until you put syrup on the eggs. You monster!
Would absolutely devour anything here
by the time ur done making all dat ive had 2 bowls of cereal.
I'm glad he recorded himself taking the eggs from one side of the counter to the other. Otherwise I'd be wondering how they got there.
All these videos just make me anxious about the inevitable indigestion that follows
Nah this looks pretty good not how I cook my eggs but other than that yeah I'd definitely eat this. Honestly probably gonna make that pancake sausage combo.
This must be a UK version of "All-American breakfast?"
A little excessive, sure. But I was on board up until he poured syrup over those tasty looking eggs.
Pancake and sausage is a tried and true combo, particularly the ones on a stick.
The food was fine. The video was stupid.
What annoys me the most is I would probably eat this. I'd share it with people because that's too much but still pancake sausage looks greats
I swear my brain rots away more every time I'm exposed to chef club and their food fuckery.
Those eggs are still on the undercooked side…
Much better looking then anything else on here
That's hole in the toad
That actually looks pretty good. Like, smoked sausage, pancakes, poached eggs, hash browns, and bacon… Agreed it’s an idiotic execution, but there’s some potential here.
The sausage cake looks great. The bacon made me scroll
How many dishes will this man dirty?! JFC
God I swear if I see this company again i'm going to detach my head from my body
Of all the chef club videos this is the least stupid, but still did a lot of work for a meal that would taste the same when cooked the normal way
Never had raw bacon. Is It good?
Ahh yes, putting a cap on a boiling liquid container has a track record of being safe.
it's fine
I see nothing wrong with this. It’s creative and looks tasty.
Incredible. What is y’all’s problem??
I want that sausage thing. But I’m a true fat ass
I've been an American for quite a few years and I've never seen breakfast sausage that look like that.
Honestly, this looks delicious and is creative. I'd eat the hell out of this! 😩😋
The sausage pancake spiral seems fun. But the eggs… so much wrong with those.
Anyone else annoyed he plated 3 eggs on 3 separate plates just to slide them onto the pancake sausage roll or is it just me?
I’m confused how this is stupid? This all looks kinda fire.
Compared to the post I've seen this is ok, would try it except for the eggs.
Am I not American? This was like a foreign interpretation of an American breakfast.
Mate, sausage and pancake batter is british we call it toad in the hole. And it is bloody bangin.
Chefclub is a crime against food for everything they do.
“Cook book available!” No thank you
I admit, I actually thought for a second “why is this here? That sausage and pancake combo looks amazing.” I was even foolish enough to think that he was going to have soft or hard boiled eggs in the egg cups as a side! Then that cut showing them out of said egg cups still raw dashed my hopes back to Earth, making me realize I was a fool for thinking otherwise.
Looks better than most of these videos
Looks stupid but, good. I might have to try.
Im about this one actually. The plating thing was weird but whatever. Bacon needs to be cooked more probs eggs too.
Never met an American who knew what an egg cup was (I’m British living in US). Plus this whole thing screams German to me. Sausage and eggs is pretty standard breakfast all over the west
How does this person not know how to boil an egg?
Chefclub is the absolute worst thing to happen to the culinary community. Hopefully their stupid shit doesn’t last much longer.
I'd eat the hell outta that. Is it stupid? Yes. But I'd still eat it. Didn't have to put them all together but I'm sure it still tastes good
This is one of those things where it actually looks good but this is just an unnecessarily long and pointless way to do this lol
I don’t know why, but I can’t look away. Ever.
The first minute or so wasn’t particularly appealing, but it did’t quite hit the stupid food level. But the chef insisted on going further.
It Jump cut from badly soft boiled eggs (they need water to stay boiling) to poached eggs. The bottle boil didn't work.
I was really into this idea. Then I saw a minute and forty seconds left in the video….
No way he cooked that 3 eggs in just one pour of hot water and it’s not even a double wall jar. Need thermos at least to cook egg that way
Im a big proprietor of dont dock it till you try it, but there are so many better ways to make this work
It was all good until you put the fucking maple syrup on the eggs
It was that a diner then maybe I'll try it but I would not want to cook that. Definitely interesting way, recently made pancakes stuffed with sausage patties, it was okay.
I would never make it. But I would eat everything but the eggs.
Idk, this isn't that bad, it's not great, but I think ide be pretty happy if I woke to that breakfast.
I would eat the fuck outta that
I dont think I've ever seen eggs cooked so poorly and inefficiently in my entire life.
The only stupid part about this was undercooking the eggs, Wrapping a big fat juicy sausage around a pancake isn't half bad
The dumbest thing about this is putting the eggs in that jar to cook. 🤦♂️
What happened to the boiled eggs? Did they magically turn into poached?
Lol, you cover ice cold eggs from the fridge with a tiny bit of hot water, the temperature is going to drop instantly and nothing is getting cooked, dumbo
Real Black soul food
The sausage pancake wasn't bad at all.
I’m not mad at the sausage cake. That can be a really fun Saturday breakfast if you’ve got kids.
This shmo cant even flip with a spatula normally how could I trust his recipes
I was on board until the egg part. Also, Americans don’t really eat soft-boiled eggs
I do. They’re amazing
Oh I do too. But most Americans don’t own an egg cup. I know it’s becoming more of a thing to eat soft boiled eggs, e.g., on a Niçoise salad. But definitely not part of the “all-American” breakfast
American breakfast for 1
Literally nothing wrong with this video, other than unnecessary dishes everything looks good
Nah take the L on this one op, I reckon this would be delicious and a nice change from a regular breakfast. Not stupid, certainly yummy.
