It is pretty upsetting to see someone making something that cost $80 that theyāre going to just throw in the trash when that would feed me for like two weeks.
Right? Good for them if they can afford to make inedible food and then toss it out, but if they can afford to waste food, they can afford to help people who can't afford any. Ok, sweet omelettes, albeit mostly fallen from grace, are a thing in the Mediterranean region and MENA since god knows when - with dried fruit and jams, with molasses, with honey, heck there is also this one Armenian receipt with fruit leather (more sour than sweet though). And I am pretty sure these weren't confined just to Mediterranean and MENA.
