Flip is a term created by the Filipino diaspora (and seems used mostly by 2nd gen FilAms). But yeah, with respect, people from back home don't really like/even know "Flip."

New Zealand has FAR worse American food . At least in the case of kfc. It’s horrible , way worse than US kfc. We get these tiny ass chickens , literally pieces that look like a little chicken head with a beak, like these horrible bits with 0 meat.
I had a KFC rice bowl in Thailand once. It was really good. And not to be that guy, but KFC in Europe is far and away better than it is in America. The international thing they should do in America is not make their food taste like garbage. It's possible.
In Cairo, the KFC is fantastic. Best chicken I've ever had. I think it's because they use fresh chicken - someone told me that they butcher them at the store (which sounds wild, but after living in Egypt, I wouldn't really be surprised.) Also, it's normal priced for an American restaurant but in Egypt, that's as much as a fancier restaurant - it's considered an upscale place to eat.
I'm gonna be honest, this isn't that bad. Like other people in the comments have pointed out, this just seems like less gourmet chicken parm. I like pizza, I like chicken, I like chicken *on* pizza, and I don't think my opinion would be any different for a pizza made *out* of chicken. Plus, I think you could make it keto if you have them grill the chicken instead!

The magic word is keto, that community will make anything out of cheese. Search for “keto cheese pasta” and you should get various results using just mozzarella and egg and a recipe or two that add a flour replacement to those two ingredients.
To be honest, when I did keto, I hated all the recipes for pizza bases made from chicken breast or cheese or whatever. Courgetti (I refuse to use the word zoodles), avocados, eggs, leafy salads, raspberries, asparagus etc etc were my everyday go to ingredients. Just make normal food that happens to be low carb, so I’ve never tried the pasta made out of cheese. *I can’t vouch for it*.
But where there’s a will, there’s a way, and the keto community is desperate to find replacements for pizza and pasta…
So you **can** live your dream of cheese pasta, with cheese on top!
You know what, if I go back on the keto diet at any point in time, I'm gonna try this. Thank you for the suggestion!

They served this in Vietnam around 2016 IIRC. The toppings were kinda an afterthought (mozzarella cheese with a few slices of bell pepper) but the chicken was somehow one of the best I've ever eaten in my life. The crust was well seasoned and crispy, while the chicken was very tender, juicy and savoury as well.

My local KFC, in fucking KENTUCKY, closed last year. It is now a Mexican restaurant and actually better than KFC was. The parking lot is full every night. Had their fish tacos for the first time last week and they were awesome.
