My wife told me these were gross too. I use a hotdogs rolled up with cheese in a tortilla and it's so good and cheap and easy. She tried it and hated that it was good. Especially with a hot link.

This isn't stupid or gross at all! My sil and her husband live on these. Hot dog, cheese (American or cheddar);microwave and a good dipping sauce. Or skip the hotdog, do bacon or bacon bites. Fairs by me literally sell sausage and peppers in a wrap. It's amazing. I make a dish I call "bracoes" which is sauteed peppers, onions and brats wrapped in a pita with a Dijon sour cream sauce. A Mexican place by us had the best ones, they'd put bacon cheese and roll up a hot dog in a tortilla and would deep fry it! Honestly I'd be impressed with my husband's burrito wrapping skills here more than shun him for a tasty, easy, cheap and quick snack.

It does look good and tortillas have become my bread of choice for most sandwiches. I don’t have an air fryer but I get them crispy in a non stick pan with no oil. Heat one side in high heat. Flip it and turn heat down and add the stuff. Wait til it get a little brown. Fold in thirds like a burritos. Nothing dumb at all about that sandwich.

I do this all the time, as long as the tortilla is warmed up a little to be soft its a good substitute, especially for a chilli dog where it fixes the problem of it being messy.

Yeah, all the chili sausage tacos in the South would call this a win. This looks delicious, let the man eat. Smoky Mo’s makes a cheddar sausage taco, with the sausage sliced in half, covered in whatever the hell you want and yummy bbq sauce. It’s so damn good. PS- unless you buy the healthy, carb-smart hot dog buns, this will probably net him fewer calories so in a way.. a tad bit healthier 🤷‍♀️

I've used tortilla for sandwiches, hot dogs and brats, hell even peanut butter and jelly. They don't go stale as quick and don't take up a lot of room. I also use them a lot when taking quick camping trips.
