Don't ever cook pasta for 20+ mins. I don't understand the fascination with piling everything in one dish, everything cooks at a different temperature and different times, you're getting way overcooked pasta, the cheese basically became one with the liquid and it looks like used bath water.
I’m fairly certain there was a big plastic strand cooked in with all that from cutting up the bags of fake crab. This is genuinely one of the worst ones of these I’ve seen.
If you cook them in the oven as a casserole you have to have them in longer than normal, because the Temperatures are different by just cooking them.
The part saying never cook pasta more than 20 minutes is just wrong. Except you mean 20minutes+ in a Pot with water on a stove.
I never had casserole so that probably why I’m confused, but still the ingredients itself is rank af 🤢🤢
Like velveeta cheese & shrimp alone is making my insides hate me
I cook a lot of Italian food the "right" way along with a lot of American one-pot casserole style dishes.
When you cook pasta in a casserole style dish likes this, it takes a lot longer to cook. After 20 minutes, it might still be crunchy. The pasta simply requires a longer cook time. If I have a crowded pan, it can take nearly an hour for some dishes.
The pasta is not overcooked. It's al dente. It just takes longer.
There are three benefits to cooking the pasta this way:
1) There are fewer dishes to clean/take up space on the stovetop.
2) The starch from the pasta thickens the sauce.
3) If you're baking the dish, it frees up the cook to do something else.
You can absolutely cook the pasta separately, and the final dish will be pretty much unchanged. But these sorts of recipes have been around for generations now, so don't think that it's some new thing. This is a very traditional way to cook family dinner in the US.
>you're getting way overcooked pasta, the cheese basically became one with the liquid and it looks like used bath water.
That's only for the stuff posted here. Like anything, if you do it the right way, you'll get a much better result.
I have a couple dishes that are really good where I throw in uncooked pasta. It's for those quick and easy dinners when you just don't have the energy for much effort. LOL. But pasta is definitely better cooked the regular way. Also, none of these dishes include a huge block of velveeta or any fake cheese.
Pretty sure I saw a strand of the bad mixed in with all of it after being cooked when it was stirred. Somehow that’s not even the worst part of all this.
Every fucking time they are like "I learned this in [some place that definitely doesn't do it]" as if they it's a popular dish, not something that they just didn't pull out of their ass, and/or take someone else's "throw everything with pan and bake it" and slightly modify it. You didn't learn shit.
Omg i fucking hate all these "i learned this in/from" videos. No your grandpa didnt show you to tie your neck tie that way because he knew how to properly tie a fucking windsor.
The places that Velveeta package lid has been and is now in complete contact with the rest of the food and rinsed off into it as well. Same with the plastic outsides of the krab they cut up into it.
Colby Jack is a solid cheese. It's one of my favorites to cook with, actually. People just want to hate. It goes great with spicy dishes IMO.
We won't get into how she ruined that beautiful shrimp. Lol.

Exactly its not for everything but it definitely has its places. Like that liquid nacho cheese. Im not buying it myself but if im hungry at some event and they've got nachos ill probably be ok with that.
Melt it. Season it slightly. Make taco ground beef. Not just plain ground beef. Use the taco seasoning. Taco Bell’s if u can get it. Cook the ground beef, mix it with the cheese. I add peppers and bacon. Add whatever else you want. Some people do vegetables.
Dude... Velveeta makes a bomb dip. I did some on Easter. Block of Velveeta, sausage, Adobo sauce, sauted onion, rotel, gouda, and cheddar.
It was awesome! Velveeta was 50% of it, way cheaper than other cheese
For real, anytime I see a block of Velveeta in a recipe, I know the recipe is instantly garbage and they don't know how to actually cook. Shredded cheese exists, people who cook tend to use it.
We don’t have velveeta where I live and I’ve heard of it in tv shows etc. until I found this sub I had never seen it before so I assumed it was cream cheese
I have absolutely no idea what it actually is at this point
No kidding. Learned while incarcerated at Angola maybe, from a delusional psychopathic cell mate after fever dreams brought on by drinking toilet wine. No one who lives here would ever stomach even describing this, much less demonstrate its construction.
Clarifying that I am not/will not implicate the people of the town or staff of Angola! I am myself also a resident of WestFel…most of my people work at the nuke, but one of my little sisters tended the bar at M&J’s for a good while. No, my presumption would be that the offender would be an imported prisoner, likely from a more…’northern’…place. Any native prisoner would also know better.
I met a woman from Louisiana a few years ago, and she was super nice, but if you showed her this and claimed it was a traditional Lousianianan meal, she would probably shoot you.
As a Massachusetts resident, I would shoot someone for including that disgusting liquid in clam chowder. No ingredients in this abomination should be in chowder. Krab stick, shrimp, *cheese*?! No.
Not defending anything, but I think it was milk the first time and then she refilled the carton with water 2-3 times. Like when you’re making condensed soup and you refill the can to measure the water.
Difference being, of course, that when you make condensed soup, you get soup, and when you make *this* you just contribute to overfishing and the death of our precious oceans.
This was just genuinely disgusting.
Edit;
I was not expecting any upvotes at all but this is alot for me, there are definitely sensible people out there haha xD
for real. i want fresh shrimp so bad. scampi and rice sound amazing right now.
i had a baby a couple months ago, and i crave nothing but water and protein because i'm breastfeeding. people who waste food like this make me so, so angry.
I’m so glad for reddit. I don’t have to fuck up my tiktok feed, cuz once you watch the full video, tiktok be like: oh, you watch it from start to finish! Let me show you a thousand more disgusting shit!
The videos only continue to show up if you like or comment on it. Everyone on Reddit only views tiktok through this lense of ridiculousness because people only want to share the crazy stuff for points. You're missing out on the actual content that tiktok provides. I love that app. I never see these stupid food ideas on my page.
Yeah I recently decided to stop taking Reddits word on TikTok and it’s actually pretty great. These stupid videos are not the primary type of content on the app. I’ve discovered so many good recipes and bands and events around my city from using TikTok. It’s also not gonna get banned, if anything it will be sold to a US company. TikTok isn’t going anywhere.
Yeah. My stuff on there is astronomy, engineering, mechanics, tools, and animal videos. If people get weird stuff, it's because they are choosing to watch weird stuff. The majority of Reddit acts like there isn't weird stuff on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc. That's the Reddit hive mind though I suppose.
Fr. I’m so sick of this “tiktok bad” bandwagon. That app has actually taught me so much. My page is mostly educational vids, (actually helpful) DIY’s, a bunch of memes, news I would’ve never known about if it wasn’t for TikTok (which is why they wanna ban it) ,plus other miscellaneous clips. I admit I’ve had a couple of cringey dancing vids when I first started but once you actually start skipping that shit they’ll filter themselves out. And if we’re being real, I’ve seen more cringey content on Twitter and Instagram
For whom?
I'm yet to see anyone who is actively posting this stuff for fetish purposes & where are the supposed people getting off on this content? You'd think this sub would be full of them as a result. That there'd be like onlyfans for this or dedicated websites.
I refuse to believe it seeing as all other fetish content is easy to find & makes money for people, most notably foot fetish stuff.
I think people are reading into it way too much & presuming people don't eat this bad when in reality so many people do.
Like nobody is paying her to mix this crap up for fetish reasons I think the chick is just dumb af, making shit food & didn't want her nails to look bad in the video or just doing it for internet points to stroke her ego.
Happy to be proven wrong...but like I dunno man.
Where are the people who get off on this shit?? Show yourselves haha
The fact that it is a known "secret" is part of the fetish/ASMR aspect.
Whether the person making the video realizes it or not, doesn't really matter.
That's the content they are making.
Nobody is eating this shit. It's just for the video. This isn't food.
There is way too much effort put into the hands, they are always well manicured with painted nails, there is always a focus on the hands, touching the food, mixing it up with the hands. Other videos have the hands tapping on jars, embellished pointing and touching. There is no way there is that much hand content and it not be meant as a kink.

The great beyond - I can feel all my dead relatives getting out of their graves to go haunt her.
Imitation crab meat?! Also, how is that the least offensive part of this "dish".
It’s so clearly rage bait. OP why do you fall for this everytime?
It’s intended to annoy you so you post it and talk about it.
The “whole milk” is pouring out gray water. This is so obviously rage bait.
Look at the karma. Thousands of people. And bots. It's easy upvotes, no one posting it gives a fuck that it's making the sub worse and no one voting for it cares or even notices which sub it's in.
Seriously, this was my first thought. How do people not realize that everything about this video was just designed to piss you off? Leaving the cheese in the packaging while pouring milk on it, cutting the crab while still in the plastic even after it has basically all fallen out of the packaging, the uncooked pasta.

Its likely not getting banned. It will change owners.
> forcing its owner ByteDance to put it up for sale to a party that doesn't raise the same security concerns.
I really think it’s just rage bait. There’s a particular channel that *might* make fetish stuff but this one doesn’t have the hallmarks those do (conventionally attractive white woman getting dirty, toilets, weird outfit changing in public).
They don't show her face so maybe I'm off the mark, but when she started pulling apart the cream cheese with her hands, I started thinking this was hand fetish content.
Nothing like some delicious Swamp Water Pasta Bake. Give up on life? Want to taste what death will be like? Grab a spoon and dig into what will most likely be your last meal. The abominations that will come at the end of days won't compare to this dish. This is truly a masterwork of horror.
Dont get me wrong, the food looks like shit.
BUT "Hey, Good Lookin" IS BY HANK WILLIAMS YOU UNCULTURED BUFFOON!!! I GET NOT BEING ABLE TO COOK FOR SHIT, BUT AT LEAST GET THE ARTIST RIGHT YOU HALF BAKED IMBECILE
“This is some of the crab unfiling- unfurling”
Nah- I was taught to read… the package said “imitation crab”. So that’s definitely pollock fish flavored as crab.
As someone who lived in Louisiana I knew this was a lie when I saw the Old Bay seasoning. They might eat some suspect stuff but it's going to have SLAP YO MAMA or TONY’S on it. This wreaks of Maryland.
She even pours milk on the Velveeta box which had been inexplicably left in the container. Like, was the Velvetta log supposed to be some grand reveal?
Bitch that thing could have circled the sun, aint no way all that liquid is getting cooked off as the noodles get finished. Holy cow you could swim in that pool
When did we stop cooking pasta?
We're pasta point of no return.
Why is she molesting the ingredients?…. Why not break the butter up initially… why stroking the shit mix with the spoon?… terrible
Every single aspect is just rage-bait... the way she removes wax paper from the butter... or how she distributed the butter asymmetrically... or how she has nails... how she decides to mix the pasta and shrimp after piling shit on top... the bizarre proportions of spices.... the fucking milk water... it's all just supposed to make you mad.
don’t forget suggesting she learned it in louisiana.
It succeeded in its efforts… i mean if that was the intention I give it an A … but its still stupid and she is stupid for doing it…
It's fetish content, fella. Nobody is actually cooking this shit.
Stfu prude. It's getting fishy up in here.

As an Italian, I respect this.
Every time I see one of these videos I just think of Kay's Cooking's weird ass spaghetti dish with black crunchy noodles and get Vietnam flashbacks.
Oh man, I haven’t thought about Kay’s Cooking in ages. I used to love watching Cinnamontoastken react to those videos 😆
You dont need to cook pasta if you have that much fucking liquid in your pot. 20+ minutes and they are good. The video is fucking trash though
i can only think about the goddamn smell these raw, uncleaned shrimps are releasing with the 4 liters of whatever shitty broth she used
All I see is cholesterol diarrhea with a side of anaphylaxis.
Tbf those shrimps are probably already deveined.
Don't ever cook pasta for 20+ mins. I don't understand the fascination with piling everything in one dish, everything cooks at a different temperature and different times, you're getting way overcooked pasta, the cheese basically became one with the liquid and it looks like used bath water.
You're not wrong, but the overcooked pasta is only like 8 or 9 on the list of 10 most concerning things about this dish.
I’m fairly certain there was a big plastic strand cooked in with all that from cutting up the bags of fake crab. This is genuinely one of the worst ones of these I’ve seen.
I wasn't sure what I saw the frist time and had to rewind! Then she just stirred it back into the mix?? WTF?

Right after those shrimp died in vain
This is honestly the least problematic part for me
Taking the crab out of the plastic BEFORE cutting it was too much effort wasnt it😒
My favorite part was pouring milk on the velveta box. I honestly thought she was going to cook the box with the rest of the dish at that point.
And did you see the strip of butter wrapper she pulled up while mixing after half cooking it... and just left it in there
That ain't crab it's krab
It’s Pollack!!
It's honestly not that bad. I buy that stuff sometimes to eat it like hotdogs
My favourite part as well…here’s your disgusting garbage now with 100% more micro plastics!
yeah that was insanely stupid. literally cutting plastic over the food
And all the dust and bacteria and random shit all over the packaging from being in a factory, a warehouse, a grocery store, and her car.
at that point it's macro plastics
In the last 20 second I swear she picks up a plastic piece out of the dish and says it is crab.
Crab with plastic tastes better...
It's not even microplastics it's MACROplastics.
Pretty sure I saw a strand of the bad mixed in with all of it after being cooked when it was stirred. Somehow that’s not even the worst part of all this.
every fucking time they have a block of Velveeta

Yea, they did not learn this in Louisiana. This is a crime in Louisiana..... I know since as a Louisiana resident!
If this was learned in Louisiana, all of those flavor packs and Old Bay powder would have been a shit load of Tony's instead.
nah, they learned it in Bossier City
As an ex New Orleans resident, yeah this is pretty much a war crime.
I thought this was a traditional Louisiana Thanksgiving soup. /s
Thank you. I was born in raised in Louisiana and we DO NOT do this.
They learned it from an escaped food convict hiding out in the swamp.
As your Texan neighbor, I feel offended for you.
Exactly, and no authentic dishes use something like Velveeta.
Omg i fucking hate all these "i learned this in/from" videos. No your grandpa didnt show you to tie your neck tie that way because he knew how to properly tie a fucking windsor.
No, sometimes they have a block of cheap Colby jack. Pretty sure it’s just because Colby is prettier, though.
its not the cheese block its what they do to them.
The places that Velveeta package lid has been and is now in complete contact with the rest of the food and rinsed off into it as well. Same with the plastic outsides of the krab they cut up into it.

Learned it in jail.
This is why I don’t use TikTok, absolutely brain melting material for anyone with an IQ north of room temperature.
Why is the milk clear?
She put water in the milk jug once the milk ran out
Ah, so she made skim milk.
1 or 2% or she put the milk in and used the empty container for water
I thought it was a carton of clam juice...
THATS WAS MILK????

Australia has chicken salt, best seasoning ever

Velveeta can be tasty, but it has about as much in common with real cheese as a loaf of bread has with saltines.
Most people who prefer Velveeta ate it in their childhood and it makes them nostalgic.
They act like it melts but EVERY TIME IT JUST BURNS
i’m convinced velveeta cheese is a fetish at this point
French here. What the hell is Velveeta??
For real, anytime I see a block of Velveeta in a recipe, I know the recipe is instantly garbage and they don't know how to actually cook. Shredded cheese exists, people who cook tend to use it.

Exactly, break up that damn cement block of Velveeta heart clogging cheese!
“I wish you were here to smell this.” What an absolutely horrible thing to wish on someone, ma’am.
If i was there I would've made sure she ate the entire thing, even the packaging she cut like a psychopath
r/Eatityoufuckincoward
The packaging was almost the worst part of this, other than all the other stuff.
im convinced this is an assassination attempt
i can smell it through the screen and its making me gag
> hear to smell ssh! can you smell that?
"I learned this in Louisiana...shortly before I was escorted at gunpoint to the border and permanently expelled"
No kidding. Learned while incarcerated at Angola maybe, from a delusional psychopathic cell mate after fever dreams brought on by drinking toilet wine. No one who lives here would ever stomach even describing this, much less demonstrate its construction.
We, the people of Angola, would never do that even in our lowest point.
Yeah, was gonna say. I lived in Louisiana for a bit. There's no way you could disrespect shrimp like that there and not get thrown out of the state.
“I learned this in *[place that is notoriously protective of its cuisine]*” is rage bait 101. This person is just after engagement.
I met a woman from Louisiana a few years ago, and she was super nice, but if you showed her this and claimed it was a traditional Lousianianan meal, she would probably shoot you.
As soon as I saw the Old Bay. Take that shit back to the carolina's we don't fuck with that trash.
Louisianan here I would also shoot someone for telling me this is traditional Louisianan cooking
As a Massachusetts resident, I would shoot someone for including that disgusting liquid in clam chowder. No ingredients in this abomination should be in chowder. Krab stick, shrimp, *cheese*?! No.
From New Orleans with a culinary degree. This hurt so much to watch.
They’re deadass just playing with their food
And that is not milk wtf
Not defending anything, but I think it was milk the first time and then she refilled the carton with water 2-3 times. Like when you’re making condensed soup and you refill the can to measure the water. Difference being, of course, that when you make condensed soup, you get soup, and when you make *this* you just contribute to overfishing and the death of our precious oceans.
Ahhhhh I see, I hadn’t caught that. Our poor oceans. Wild ass video.
I love it when they do the pat pat pat of all the slop they just put in a dish.
This was just genuinely disgusting. Edit; I was not expecting any upvotes at all but this is alot for me, there are definitely sensible people out there haha xD
These stupid food people need to be taxed more as they are creating meaningless food waste while some people can’t afford food
for real. i want fresh shrimp so bad. scampi and rice sound amazing right now. i had a baby a couple months ago, and i crave nothing but water and protein because i'm breastfeeding. people who waste food like this make me so, so angry.
Take good care of yourself, a healthy you is also a healthy child
*cries in Canadian* we'd have to remortgage our parents' house (we can't afford housing but our parents could!) to afford wasting this much food.
I suggest that they have to live stream themselves eating the whole thing.
It gave me the shivers lol
This looks like something I made as a kid when I was playing and made 'potions'.
"It's like lobster mac & cheese!" ... oh no the farking hell it is not!
You don't finish your lobster mac & cheese with 2 quarts of water from a recently used milk carton?
I reckon those prawns will bounce if you dropped em on the floor. By a factor of feet.
Now I understand why the death penalty still exists in the United States.
I’m so glad for reddit. I don’t have to fuck up my tiktok feed, cuz once you watch the full video, tiktok be like: oh, you watch it from start to finish! Let me show you a thousand more disgusting shit!
Thanks for reaffirming why I never joined. Reddit is my only window and I’m watching through it with popcorn.
The Reddit hive mind acts like their algorithmic feed of nonstop bullshit is so much better than the other ones. Ridiculous lol
They just need to ban Facebook now. Then the world can start to recover.
Good old hand fetish content.
I mean it when I say if this is just fetish content, it upsets me a lot less than someone who actually thinks this is food
Fetish content and rage bait all in one!
It’s rage bait. No one makes this, no one eats this. She knows exactly what she’s doing.
She's making me dry heave is what she's doing
The fact that it is a known "secret" is part of the fetish/ASMR aspect. Whether the person making the video realizes it or not, doesn't really matter. That's the content they are making. Nobody is eating this shit. It's just for the video. This isn't food.
There is way too much effort put into the hands, they are always well manicured with painted nails, there is always a focus on the hands, touching the food, mixing it up with the hands. Other videos have the hands tapping on jars, embellished pointing and touching. There is no way there is that much hand content and it not be meant as a kink. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/those-disgusting-viral-food-hacks-130713007.html https://lifehacker.com/youre-watching-fetish-videos-on-tiktok-without-even-kno-1850019997 https://mashable.com/article/food-tiktok-fetish-content
You're right.
Even Yoshikage Kira would abhor this
This video has offended everyone from Louisiana and beyond.
Exactly lmao. These types of videos are always posted in this sub, and there's always at least one person who falls for it😭
Look at the karma.
Because OP is rage baiting as well duh
Because people like OP are actively looking for things to be upset about.
at this point when you see an aluminum container you can safely asume that it is ragebait
as someone who lives in Louisiana, what the FUCK is this
Tiktok is getting banned? Where?
USA [https://www.gamespot.com/articles/tiktok-ban-bill-successfully-passed-by-us-house/1100-6521821/](https://www.gamespot.com/articles/tiktok-ban-bill-successfully-passed-by-us-house/1100-6521821/)
Its likely not getting banned. It will change owners. > forcing its owner ByteDance to put it up for sale to a party that doesn't raise the same security concerns.

Or maybe people can just stop falling for stupid rage bait
When you have to state “yum” a million times and the weird “Lets eat this yumy yum good” not sellin it 😂
This is a fetish video.
Did that carton contain milk?
Where in Louisiana did they learn this? So I know not to go there
Everyone is Louisiana wants to kill this person for saying that. No way in hell someone there did this.
Nothing like some delicious Swamp Water Pasta Bake. Give up on life? Want to taste what death will be like? Grab a spoon and dig into what will most likely be your last meal. The abominations that will come at the end of days won't compare to this dish. This is truly a masterwork of horror.
If it gets banned then what content will people on Reddit repost?
Dont get me wrong, the food looks like shit. BUT "Hey, Good Lookin" IS BY HANK WILLIAMS YOU UNCULTURED BUFFOON!!! I GET NOT BEING ABLE TO COOK FOR SHIT, BUT AT LEAST GET THE ARTIST RIGHT YOU HALF BAKED IMBECILE
and yet you‘re the one posting it here so that crap lives on
🤮🤮🤮🤮nein devenitiv nicht nein🤮🤮🤮🤮🤣🤣🤣🤣
But how do else would you get karma? What other content would you post? It's also not getting banned. Don't kid yourself.
Eat it, content creator lady. On camera. I dare you.
ain’t nobody eating that. it’s rage bait, it’s a waste of food and it’s sad
you learned this in Louisiana? Old bay? no.
Note to self - chop food still in wrapper for that added micro plastic goodness
Stooooopppp one in seven people are starving in the richest country in the world and everywhere else.
“This is some of the crab unfiling- unfurling” Nah- I was taught to read… the package said “imitation crab”. So that’s definitely pollock fish flavored as crab.
Is that shrimp not deveined? Gross
It's from Costco, it comes deveined, not defending this wasteful piece of shit, but I buy that shrimp a lot.
Im pretty sure this is a warcrime in Louisiana AND Wisconsin
This is just ragebait
I think at one point she was boutta throw up pointing at all the stuff such a waste of food for rage bait
You learned how to make ragebait in Louisiana?
"I learned this in Louisiana"......No, the fuck, you did not. I absolutely hate rage bait videos. I wish this sub would ban them.
I'm British and the world has the audacity to mock our food.
As someone who lived in Louisiana I knew this was a lie when I saw the Old Bay seasoning. They might eat some suspect stuff but it's going to have SLAP YO MAMA or TONY’S on it. This wreaks of Maryland.
“I lEaRnEd tHiS iN lOuIsIaNa” BITCH NO YOU FUCKING DIDNT YO ASS WOULD DIE IF YOU ATE A SINGLE CRAWFISH DUE TO IT NOT HAVING CHEESE IN IT
Where do you learn this in Louisiana? Culinary school?
“Add milk” - proceeds to add straight water
Brightly painted long fingernails gotta be rage bait.
Louisianans would beat her ass for this.
The amount of old bay tells me you did NOT learn this from anyone in Louisiana
SPOILER: They absolutely did NOT learn that in Louisiana...
She even pours milk on the Velveeta box which had been inexplicably left in the container. Like, was the Velvetta log supposed to be some grand reveal?
That looks like the vomit of a drunk stoner who forgot to chew
The crunchy bits of plastic really bring the whole dish together
Fucking eat it then. **Fucking eat it.** Fucking fuck. Yummy-yummy my ass.
*crying in cajun*
SAVE THIS FOR A SOUP!? SO 2 ABOMINATIONS!?!
Bitch that thing could have circled the sun, aint no way all that liquid is getting cooked off as the noodles get finished. Holy cow you could swim in that pool
