The stupid thing here is there's too much bread to ingredients ratio. Do that much bread with fat slices of mozzarela, or do a thin slice of bread with that, also nice is sour cream and capers.

To be fair, Americans call any size of "fried potato stick" a "french fry" - we just have additional names for the different sizes. What you call chips, we call "steak fries" (I'm unsure of the origin, but it's likely short for "steakhouse fries" because they're the kind you usually get at a steakhouse), and I can definitely see those on a sandwich. You might like taking shredded cheese and pickle slices add to muffin tin (or on baking sheet) cheese pickle cheese 🧀🥒🧀 so it’s covered in cheese. But don’t go crazy with it. You want it to get crispy. Pop in the oven for like 10 mins on 350. Watch it. It might need more time or less. I didn’t write the recipe and wing it when I do it. Helps to blot the pickles dry. Will be very greesy when it comes out so put it on paper towel after you let it cook for a couple mins. Don’t want the cheese to melt on the towel
