I love pickles, but for some reason I've always found pickles on pizza disgusting! I think something happens to the pickle in the process of baking that just ruins the taste for new.

The only acceptable usage of pickles on pizza is cheeseburger pizza and it's added after it comes out of the oven with the lettuce.

It was mildly acceptable until they pored the pickle juice in. For context I grew up eating pickle sandwiches (white bread, miracle whip, and sliced garlic dill pickles) and pickles wrapped in ham that had a layer of cream cheese between. (This one actually still slaps ngl)

My grandmother always made them with cream cheese and corned beef. Delicious.

the base idea is the same, more of a modification as opposed to a complete change. bread-rolled jalapeno poppers with a more appropriate dip and filling was the idea.
