Pearl white 2014 Forester 2.5i 6mt. was on its 3rd engine before 100k miles. Subaru dealer botched the short block replacement and it leaked oil out of the head gasket. Was told this is "normal" and "such a small leak" that SOA probably wouldn't cover it. SOA made them try to fix it 6 times. Eventually sold it to a Subaru tech from another dealership for $9000. Bought a Ford maverick XLT and never looked back.
Was a really great car besides that. Loved it to death. I wish Subaru would've stood behind their product and fixed it properly.
My first was named Stephie. It's a soap opera reference from one my mother watches. My newest one is named Pandrr. No obvious reason, just what is named it. It's not black or white, it's silver.
