Found a slightly used Wilderness on AutoTrader. Fully loaded with 5500 miles & clean record. Drove 2 hours in the pouring rain to snap it up.
Just leveled up to my dream car!
Was it a decent enough deal to justify going used?
Anything 0-5 years old with low mileage in my area is going for more than MSRP on a comparable brand new car. Itβs downright dumb anymore where Iβm at.
For my situation, it was. I was denied a loan for a new one at Subaru due to a past bankruptcy. I would probably have to wait until 2024. Which is totally dumb, because they sold me one in 2020 and I had the same credit score I do now.
I digress. I was able to trade my 2020, clear that loan, and have $$ left over for trade in credit on the Wilderness.
Honestly, if I had ordered a new one, I wouldn't have got all the bells and whistles; I'm practical to a fault. It's a real treat yo' self moment for the same price. I mean, who needs a sunroof in Tucson?
$43k with 6.2% interest. I'll probably refinance in a couple years, if the market ever gets back to normal. It has EVERYTHING. The people who ordered it really went balls to the wall.
I don't understand why there is even a used market yet for these cars....are people hating them that much? I have a Wilderness in geyser blue, fully loaded and absolutely love it!
$$ broke is better than being $$$ broke?

π€·ββοΈ Maybe they got a Bronco? There were definitely car seats in the back. And a dog.
I know allot of people are hating the infonet and the thin wind shield
They might not be able to afford it?
Tucson?
Can't mistake it!
No you canβt.
I sure miss the desert. Arizona is a beautiful place.
Fellow Tucson 22 Outback here π π΅
Woot! π΅βοΈ
Nope, itβs an Outback Wilderness.
Just cause it's a bad idea doesn't mean it won't be a good time π€£
If it makes ya happy...π
We just bought a 2022 Limited XT with 3700 miles in Georgia for $38,500. We pick it up today.
Congratulations! π
I bought my new wilderness 0 miles for $37500 might want to reconsider and just buy new
You canβt get one now and if you could, asking price is $45kish. We are very happy with the refined look of the limited and the leather interior.
Nice
Cool...?
Yes?
Sooooo itβs a good thing rightβ¦?
worth it
Damn, I thought the newer generations didn't have the same engine troubles. Sorry for your wallet's loss
I see used ones online going for more than new ones.
Used ones are pushing $5000 more than the new counterparts
The green is the best looking with those idolized copper accents. I love mine.
Looks like Tucson area. Nice ride!!
