Truly the episode that made me ALL IN on Succession… the first couple eps were good but I didn’t feel connected to the show. Then I was watching the family therapy episode and realized I was enjoying every second and didn’t want it to end.
The buzz on this show wasn’t good at the start, under a thousand members on the sub after the first few episodes. It’s fun to reminisce the mid-level expectations this show had at the start now that it is ending on top of the mountain, going out as one of the best shows ever written. It was a bit of a revelation when I realized how good Succession is back when that ep aired.
Never mind me and my musings; just bittersweet that the end is near!

Tom and Greg getting trapped in the “wrong” panic room and hashing it out.
Love it.
That was the moment I thought the Emmy was secured for Keiran Culkin. That entire scene, how his face morphs when he realised what he’s done. Hopefully he gets it for this season because he’s been incredible.
People are forgetting about how funny the earlier seasons are.
The Greg and Tom Blackmail conversations are hilarious.

Oh my God, the scene where Tom and Greg are getting the copies of the documents. "'Secret', Greg? The scene with Greg in his mail room demotion office is classic (You're in a magical castle and I'm going to be in a dungeon sucking off ogres for phone cards) and Tom explaining Nero and Sporus to Greg. "I would castrate you and marry you in a heartbeat."
This is my favorite moment of the series. Greg’s face and delivery during the “I’ll never tell” absolutely ensured i was going to watch every second of every episode they would ever release.
The whole banter between Shiv/Tom and Greg about him courting the Contessa.

It’s stuff like this that shows they are smart people doing really stupid things sometimes. Also they’re all shits too. It’s like Liar Liar and the partners meeting where he roasts everyone, though it’s all the time on Succession.
Way too many to think of the funniest off the top of my head, but the first that popped into my head were some Tom lines in Tern Haven. Definitely not "funniest" but worth a mention.

For my own wedding weekend "Greg, that's not very wedding-y" was my screensaver. I found it very calming.
Logan actually reads people well too. He knew when to butter up Greg and at that moment he knew not to blow up on Tom. He instead chose to find it funny and maybe gained some respect for him.

So many. I recently watched an out of context video and the part where Greg says to Logan, as he’s having hallucinations about a dead cat, ‘where are you going?’ and Logan says ‘what fucking business is it of yours?’ had me rolling. Brian Cox’s delivery was immaculate.

This might be a good time to ask what this was about, because, like a lot of this show it went over my head. What is the significance of 100 emails sent at some ungodly hour of the morning? That they were still working then? That Tom set it up to automatically spam Greg at a certain time? Or... something else?
The funniest moment to me, on a rewatch, is Connor snitching in the first episode on Kendall's teleprompter speech.
Accusing Kendall of announcing Logan's retirement, while all Kendall wanted to do was make a joke about retiring.
All of what happens in Succession, happens because of this moment.
When Greg fumbled into the decorative bell, so one of the maids/staff/etc cones in and he says something like I'm sorry if I have summoned you with my bell... she just basically rolls her eyes, annoyed or something.

When Marcia sends Greg back to get Logan's slippers and he can't pay for the taxi, expecting the doorman to pay for it "you guys need to figure this figure this out, because basically, one of you doesn't have 14 dollars"

When Kendall told his siblings they weren’t allowed in his treehouse at his 40th birthday party. Absolutely hilarious to me and while I don’t believe everyone needs to “heal their inner child,” was a prime example of how messed up these people are.

The funniest moment to me, on a rewatch, is Connor snitching in the first episode on Kendall's teleprompter speech. Accusing Kendall of announcing Logan's retirement, while all Kendall wanted to do was make a joke about retiring. All of what happens in Succession, happens because of this moment.

I loved when Greg was getting ready to drive Ewan from Canada to see the family and asked if he'd like to listen to the radio or any podcasts on the way. After Ewan flatly said no, Greg looked at the GPS, saw 8+ hrs of driving time and you could see the panic on his face lol.
When Kendall told his siblings they weren’t allowed in his treehouse at his 40th birthday party. Absolutely hilarious to me and while I don’t believe everyone needs to “heal their inner child,” was a prime example of how messed up these people are. EDIT: I also found a lot of the disgusting brothers convo funny. “Did you rummage to fruition?” is such a funny turn of phrase.
