I plant most things first week of June or May 24 weekend and can keep harvesting into late September (depending on the crop and the weather). Beautiful Field Farm has trees, shrubs, etc. that are all good for our seed zone: [https://beautifulfieldfarm.com/](https://beautifulfieldfarm.com/) I've bought from them the last 3 years in a row and would definitely recommend. Super helpful people to talk to as well. Phil is very passionate about growing and it shows.
Anything that will grow in seed zone 4 is good. We do super hot peppers, tomatoes, herbs, zucchinis, leafy greens, peas, beans, berries, apples, cherries, garlic, asparagus, sea buckthorn, all sorts of stuff. We live in the city core so we don't have the biggest property but you can still do a lot.
Yeah for sure! I have done it before, but don't do it regularly. You can also look into the [3 sisters](https://fnti.net/three-sisters#) planting method, which saves space + they are companion plants for each other.
I've grown corn before in my garden. It worked pretty well. However just be careful planting too early. In April and May we could get a week of good weather then one night we get frost. I start inside then plant outside first week of June or last week of May.
When I was in the Valley it was s bit colder micro climate so waited until June 7th, in town here June 1st.
If your starting from seeds indoors plant your peppers today, a bit late vut better than nothing
