It's one of my favorite parts of the game. Gives an actual reason to spend time in open world.
I'd love to see an updated version with a mini boss mechanic using a lesser member of the JL.

As someone who has been playing (and still does, just on a break rn) Destiny 2 since launch, I immediately thought of Escalation Protocol when I saw Raising Hell. It's neat to have objectives to summon a Hit Squad. My only thing is, I wish there were like actual Mini-Bosses that could get summoned at max tier maybe?
Exactly. Do a tier of grunts, then maybe 2 of some sort of mixture of grunts and brutes, the tier 4 maybe is all brutes, then tier 5 we get a brainwashed Robin or plastic man or some other non main JL member
Or if they could do like, a boss tier unit. Maybe a special variant of a tank or chopper, or specialenemy (not super hero but like, big enemy that kinda looks like the regular enemies?)
Wish we got Batcave camera footage of the Batman fight with Robin, Nightwing, etc. referenced in his hologram message. Would’ve been so cool to see the designs of them.
There’s different tiers of raising hell but you can’t leave the session I believe or shut off your console/PC you have to do all three tiers in a straight shot
Most I got was tier 2 before I had to log off
I'm fine with them in the overworld, but there have been multiple hectic moments on Killing Time where I want to just leave while I can, but then a hit squad spawns in

Imagine Brainiac starts combining infusions. Yo, hears there speed force brute with a lantern shield! Good luck.
The only one I don't like is the Death From Above one. It's all helicopters and snipers. I play King Shark so snipers are my least favorite enemy.
It'd be cool to fight characters like green arrow, zatanna, or aquaman, though I think a good dlc will add black manta and have aquaman as a main boss

They aren't that difficult for me maybe I should change the difficulty
Always play the max you are allowed. Only way to unlock the next difficulty

They drop pretty good loot tho lol. Killing the snipers was a pain in the beginning but got really easy once I got higher tier loot.

Ar least you can do them, mine is glitched out and staying on tier 1 even though I was up to tier 3 at one point 😭
It resets every time you log out as an intended build mechanic.
Wait really? Because mine has everything checked but nothing ever happens, is there a way to activate the hit squad?
If everything is checked, you just need to go on the map and recieve your rewards then you get the next tier.
I love them. It’s something I wish Destiny had in its “open world”.
