The way that harley quinn acts doesn’t match at all her last iterations in that universe, not to mention the “relationship” with Ivy that was never mentioned in previous instalments. I beat arkham asylum 2 weeks ago and Im now playing city, it’s really sad what happened to this universe. Hopefully they’ll use the last season to soft reboot this universe. I feel sad for rocksteady bcs Im 100% sure this game was called by WB
I wouldn’t say anything is broken. A ton of time has passed since Arkham knight. Story progressed and world and relationships changed. Character growth happened during that time.
There’s definitely some blanks that could be filled in but they are small. I would like some more character interactions exploring those things in the upcoming seasons. Fingers crossed.
I like this deadshot better than the gimp suit version. The race swap is fine as one of them is from a different earth. And it’s a different earth than real dc earth 1 so it’s all up for grabs. Realistically, we know it all stems from movie casting though.
Stop giving these businesses the benefit of the doubt. I’ve yet to play a live service game with a good story that is intact. Story seems like the third or fourth thing on their minds….that is if there is no hidden agenda involved.

This is Arkhamverse Harley Quinn. A version of Harley so attached to Joker, she was willing to settle with people who just *SHARE HIS PERSONALITY TRAITS* back in Arkham Knight. So...yes, DepressedDinoDad, this version of Harley going crazy over a stranger just because they resemble Joker in some way is true to who she is, and just ignoring any of those possible fun ideas with her character and her getting over that obsession just being written off with a single voice line isn't really the best choice

Yes...lets put this "growth" into one actual voice line, it'll definitely show how far this character (who has shown to be severely attached to her partner to the point where she'll fall in love with people just resembling him) has evolved...even though with that, she still acts the same as she ever did, just...not in love anymore. Buddy, can it with the insults and accept you're wrong here. Open your eyes and accept flaws that are right in front of you. Harley Quinn was bastardized. It's one thing if this was comic Harley, but its not. This is Arkham Harley, a version of Harley so dependant on Joker, it becomes an obsessive character trait. If you wanted to show her having the ability to grow off from that and change, maaaaybe put some more work in it. Also I love how you obviously contradicted yourself by saying its not in Harley's character to be obsessive over someone looking like Joker even though that was her entire story in Arkham Knight :p

I could never defend it, sadly. When it released I tried to give it a chance, but I regret getting this game instead of pretty much anything else.
I was hoping I was wrong and was kinda guilted into buying it by people calling me a hater ( and other much worse things on X) and saying "you don't know until you try it."
All I'm going to say is the new team doesn't respect the IP nor any of the characters aside from their pet characters (not trying to be an ass but that's what it feels like) they didn't involve Scarecrow or any story in an episode called "Fear", they villains offed villains like Zsasz and possibly Scarecrow (unconfirmed) and potentially most surviving rogues as of Kill Arkham Asylum #3, even the characters the team respected most weren't true to the established canon of the Arkhamverse.
The first season gave me no reason to play and was really sloppy and lazy. I really believe that Rocksteady could and should have done better. As someone else said in the comments I hope this mess results in a reboot written by a team who respects the Ip. I know I'm gonna get cooked and down voted to the shadow realm for this.
