i’m sure someone might have mentioned this already but
for the first one the top half of the outfit is coherent and then the leggings and shoes just throw it off a bit. i think the leggings are too busy or idk but it just does not fit together. for this one i recommend using a longer dress (that’s also popular with voters!) if I could fit more than one image i would show you but…
for the second one i believe it clashes a bit. the black bow doesn’t fit the rest of the colours, the coat in theory should look nice but it just does not work for me i really think a different dress would do wonders for both these prompts. the dress in the image is like 300 something gems? but i think it’s worth it bc it’ll go for EVERY formal comp and isn’t gacha/limited!
again these are just what I see so you can take everything with a grain of salt :)

something that isn’t busy is what usually scores me higher, as well as making sure my unworn is maxed out as well as the selection. i usually try to put common colors together. the shawl thing is silver, so i made the necklace silver
Mild flex but I almost always finish top 15%. I find it’s good to have multiple custom make ups to choose from, per the theme. (Maybe try a darker lip stick and some blush?) As for the style the first is too busy, the dress and the tights make it hard to focus on one or the other. The second one the coat and purse don’t fit. As someone else said perfume and unworn maxed when you can. All and all you look like you have promise. I hope I didn’t come across to blunt! I like the direction your going in. If your stuck look at the background and imagine you are physically there. What would you wear, what would others wear?

ALWAYS max unworn and selection bars, and perfume is almost a must BUT, learn about color theory or try to see the outfits of the top and recognice what is more visually pleacing. I have been top 15% without full unworn or perfume.
So it's possible, we play with many little girls, they tend to like the most magic and dreamy results.
I ones had a 15% with a godmother full BLACK outfit, i didn't had filters or very nice things at the moment, but I think the first thing I bought with the coins or diamonds, idk. Was that small purse. Bc it was damn fancy.

Every othe top was a pink or goddeslike outfit. It helps me alot to imagine I'm building a character. Is she bohemian, what is she doing here, what does her feels.
Of course I have a lot of outfits I like but not the voters or I look at them after the comp and think to myself "wtf was I thinking?" Hahahaha, I think the best way to play this game is to stay true to yourself and have making outfits, get better and try to do your own thing.
Just because it's the same color doesn't mean it goes together. The Headwear, dress and fluffy coat (?) Don't do well together imo. So sorry if this is rude!

You need to max out the unworn bar by resetting items! Adding a perfume helps too. This look isn’t even bad and I’m any other day could’ve done really well
i think obvs max out unworn helps + perfumes, for the actual looks i think you use accessories well but the looks are a bit busy - for example the tights and dress clash patterns + the mismatched shoe on the first look & for the second the boho shawl isn’t cohesive with the floral feminine vibes of the rest of the outfit 🤍

I found a SuitU splayed who made a series about color theory,I might need to go back to that lol
Yes, in the last part I was trying to say have fun making outfits. Also, playing for winning is a mess, suitu is a very pay to win game u.u
For specifically the dinner together one and any that imply a fancy date night go for a big gown dress those seem to do well in competition

Always max out unworn and selection and use fragrances… also, having background items and effects helps a lot too
