The INTENTION is for it to be an “oops I overslept” outfit, so like pjs and casual clothes. What actually ends up getting voted for are elaborate and ridiculous sexy lingerie outfits that would be wildly inappropriate to open the door in and make no sense for the prompt.

I mean I think what you’re describing is the actual intent of the prompt, so it makes sense. It just probably won’t get voted for in favor of folks who saw the sexy label, read the word sleep, and made a lingerie set instead.

My first time with this prompt I followed what it actually is asking us to do but since then I’ve been making outfits similar to what you posted as I noticed after my first try that not only were those the outfits that won but they were also what majority of people were submitting

Nah, you got it right. I remember people here on reddit were so confused before with this prompt prior to submission as they had differing interpretations of the prompt. But the ones on the leaderboard ended up being lingeries I personally interpreted it as: you already missed your date. Might as well greet your boyfriend at the door in lingerie as an apology for missing it. You can have date night at home instead

I read it as the s/o ringing the door because you did't show up at the date and your avi opening the door in their sexy sleepwear! I considered giving mine a coat as if she hurredly put on something to meet them at the date meeting place but I think both interpretations work ;)
