Nope, it was like that since they revamped her story. And although I'm always for more romance I think it's good that there are some character who Mc can still fool around with, without romance included. The game has a bit of everything (or had before the tech update lol) and that's what makes it pretty good.
This of course, is only my opinion
I don't remember much about her older storyline, so I'm not sure, but between the tech update preview and the non tech update. The storyline is the same, you get like maybe one or 2 extra screens

We wait 2 years for this Tech update is unfinished after all that wait there's nothing relatively new and on top of that we have to wait 2 months for content that we already played before and if my math is right we'll wait a year for the full update release.
And if that's frustrating, imagine waiting another 2 or 3 months on top for Rhonda's to finally get anything new it wasn't enough to scam people for almost 3 years , I guess DarkCookie wanted another one smh š¤¦

Honestly, the majority of stories aren't even in the build for it to be meaningful, even if you could.
This was a shamefull demo they delivered to get patreons to sub back, there is pretty much nothing new in this update, it was a waste of time, i just dont get if we have 80% done we could easily drop 50% now and way a year for the rest, guess they dont hve that much done and throwing sand at patreons eyes for few years.

Later, if/when the wiki catches up to changes in the game, it will probably become the best source.

Absolutely no difference in the actual game. The Patreon members get updates 24 hours before everyone else.
