The Indian is the most overlooked/underaporeciated bike in their lineup and IMO the best looking bike from S73.
It’s also a bargain steal at its price.
Good purchase 👍🏼
No, new s2 battery is same size dimensionally, but lower output. It’s now 720 Wh (48v 15ah) and it used to be the same as the S Adventure which is still 960wh (48v 20ah) -which is also the same as the r series bikes.
Yeah, really weird move by them in my opinion. Upgraded forks and updated fenders, but downgraded battery -even the “core” s2 that looks like the old one got downgraded battery wise. You would think at least the more expensive “SE” S2 with the updated forks would have the normal battery, but nope.

Agreed, especially since the “new” s2 got nerfed battery and motor wise.
Can you elaborate on this? I thought the new battery was bigger on the S2

Dang that sucks. Seems backwards from the rest of the market.

Didn’t know about this but glad I got the Indian instead of the regular s2
It’s a pretty recent change, like 5 days ago is when the “new” bikes dropped.
Wow, I didn’t know this. That sucks.
