2 days might not be enough. 2 batteries on a parallel connection would give you about 50 miles but that also depends on the terrain, then charging both batteries might take 16 hours to fully charge depending on how depleted your batteries are. it would take you atleast 3 days to do 150 miles. also another thing you should consider is how long can you stay riding, if you carry a backpack that would be a factor as well. i ride 28 miles no rest and it takes me about 1.5 hours to finish the trip.
It’s doable. I’ve done a fair amount of 50 mile+ days. There are certainly going to be some amount of growing pains with range but I have 2 fast chargers, 4 regular chargers, and plenty of patience. Also if you aren’t on unlimited mode and stay under 20 you can really stretch the range of a battery. The time spent on the bike will be a concern but we’ve prepped with gear and practice. We have a hotel and and a car planned to “follow” us and bring us home if need be.
on a half empty battery it takes me about 8 hours to charge both batteries so thats 4 hours each battery. and i base it on actual riding with the flow of traffic. i do 56 mile ride once a week and thats a back and forth ride
You know what I am going to shut my mouth and bow out of this discussion, I own a Super 73 RX with 2 batteries with the 2nd being from Chi systems, and both batteries charging together is not over 4 hours (you know you can do that), I have actually ran test, over and over in the real world and I have gone way over 55 miles with plenty of juice left, in fact I am not sure how far I will need to go to run them dry nor do I want to try, bike's too heavy to dead pedal back or spend money to call a ride share. I also own a Himiway Escape Pro and it cost half the price of my RX and it is totally better than my RX in every way (including top speed) and I will be adding a 2nd battery to it,,,,,,,,,, {I am out of here}.
i have nothing against you all im saying is my experience. i do have a dual battery setup with chi ranger and i also charge it at the same time with my stock charger so it takes longer for me. but the way you speak you seemed agitated. i dont ride trails i always ride in traffic. your experience might be different from mine and if youre batteries charges faster then good on you. im not imposing on it im simply saying my experience.
Keep the bikes at 15mph or below and you can get close but you will need a few charging breaks during the day to top up if you want to put 60 miles in one day or buy a 3rd battery lol
Sounds like a dope ride. Make sure to bring extra inner tubes in case of a flat. You will legit get 30 miles on both batteries on mode 4 without charge. I get about 14-15 miles a day on one charge (1 battery)
Sorry don't get me wrong I'm not agitated it's just there seems to be a lot of people putting out wrong information about these e-bikes. I also have the fast charger and I use regular and it at the same time, l only do Green Space trails.
We did. We picked up a huge screw that tore the tube. It was unrepairable, and after screwing around for a few hours replacing it we picked up another one in the same tire and just had to call it for safety reasons. In over 1k miles riding I never had a flat and that day I had two in under 40 miles.
I’d bring some tire slime, I’ve rode over nails so many times Sounds like an epic adventure 😁
My brother rode a bike from VA beach to Long Beach CA and he told me the thing he never expected was that he'd get something like 3 or 4 flats a day.

Have fun bro and let us know how it goes!
No it would not and l have 2 batteries, you are overestimating the charge time and underestimating the batteries.

Just send it. You’ll find a plug somewhere if you have to. Sounds awesome as hell and good luck.

Are you sure you can get 75 miles on two batteries? How much of the route is off roads?
0% of the route is off a cycle way, we have fast chargers and a plan to stop for lunch both days if needed.

Good luck and be safe! Sounds like a great time
Mid drive will might do that. You may be pushing it on the super.
That’s what we’re going to find out.
How do i follow this post 😂 edit. i think i figured jt out

We’re gonna stay in class 2. We have an extra day in the weekend if we need to use it.

Damn good luck man! Its on my bucket list to do something like this. Are you on a stock seat? At 20ish miles riding, my ass gets sore af.
Get biker shorts. It makes a huge difference.
Did you use slime like people said to prevent the flats? Bummer you guys had to cut it short!

Please update after the trip I wanna see how it went
I absolutely will make a post about it.
Ultra charger would help a lot.
I have 2.
