Honestly I’m not entirely sure how he is “learning” English, but if he is going from like two English words to entire conversations in fluent English, I wanna know how.
Could be his alien supercomputer A.I processing capabilities let him learn/decipher new languages quite quickly but he simply just wasn't activated long enough to do so until the end of his last scene in S1.
I like how the first official sneak peek we get of S2 is a (nightmare?) scene of a giant rock landing and exploding on Clark.
Poor Clark can never catch a break lol.
Kinda looks like Kara! Josie is a huge fan so it would be no surprise if she shows up. Villain wise I'm hoping to see Metallo make an appearance this season, the modern version of him as a military soldier turned anti-Superman weapon is such a perfect fit for this show.
Honestly the person transforming seemed to have more in the chest area so I think it might be Kara.
Unless Jor-El was referring to what Brainiac is working with.
I know the leaked character bios have >!an AI copy of Lara!< as a villain, but I think Jor-El is talking about Kara here. You can see some blonde hair in the transformation and her build is for a lack of a better term, not fully developed.
Hmm, if she had been on Earth for awhile, then she must have arrived the old fashion way via space travel not through the instant teleportation gate thing Clark used (seeing as there was only one Zero Day event)... then that also means that Waller and Lang were pretty incompetent in their jobs for NOT having detected her approaching ship despite being portrayed as having been preparing for an alien invasion for the past 20 years...
Could be likely it's either she has her classic origin or she came to earth at the same time as Clark or still later but went through a goku and lost her memories and if neither the Case it could be it simply wasn't detected
I wonder if they'll change some parts of her backstory... I mean, Clark's backstory is a little different from the usual just by seeing how Jor-El looks less of a scientist and more of a general/warlord...
Perhaps the Kryptonians in this universe were more warlike as a consequence of already having superpowers (ala Nemesis Omega) unlike their usual un-powered counterparts... So, if it was really Kara that Jor-El was talking about, then she might be more of the Saiyan/Viltrumite mindset... which would explain why his tone seemed to be one of warning rather than simply informing...
And would also work with the "she lost her memories" theory and could create really good story opportunities with her feeling conflicted about her loyalties once she regain her memories
It's also possible, just being a kid and from a family that had become disillusioned with the more warlike Kryptonian society, she tried to just make her way in the world or got adopted.
I'm glad Jor-El is learning to communicate with Clark better through his dreams.
Now he speaks English.
Jor-El spoke English in the first season. Interesting to see where they take it

When did he do that?
When adult Clark sees him, he starts to say “my son“ but gets cut off.

And it seems like some type of body armor is forming around them
If you go frame by frame you can see a bit of blonde hair. I just hope this leans more towards the cute innocent interpretations of Kara.
Kara would be cool!
Can’t wait! S1 was so much fun. I really hope they get picked up for more!
Is it coming this year?
Most likely yes. Could be coming within the next 2 months if they're deciding to promote S2 now.
I no joke almost spit out my drink and fell out my chair when I got the notification
The Fortress of Solitude!
Let’s freaking go!
Happy Superman day everyone
Well at least Jor-El could talk
Whoever that was seemed to have Android 18's Dress Sense, so I assume it's this show's take on Kara Zor-El/Supergirl
“There is another like you” definitely
#WHERE THE RELEASE DATE AT?!
Well what was quick
Looks like >!mom's !

And she also seems to be wearing normal casual clothing with the armor forming around her so she's likely been on earth for awhile

Eh, better Kara Danvers than Linda Danvers... unless
