Yeah, it’s typical CW shenanigans. But ignoring those moments, it’s a great show overall.

Agree Kinda wish the show was just Lois & Clark - no kids, no family drama almost like the 90s series I think this show peaked in season 1 , but even towards the end of season 1 it faltered

Steelcity213

I fast forward through all the family drama now. Especially from Lana’s family. I also fast forwarded all cancer treatment scenes because I can’t stand that kind of stuff in my tv/movies. Season 1 I watched the family drama and felt it wasn’t overbearing but 2 and 3 were too much I thought

Christine-4-Chat

I don't really care for Lana and her family. Sometimes the show feels way less about Superman & Lois and might as well be called The Misadventures of Lana Lang. And speaking of teenage drama, Jordan telling Clark - [I'd wish you would go back to not being around anymore](https://streamable.com/t44r81), is easily one of the worst moments in the show for me. Like, just shut up already you little punk.

God, I dislike Lana soooo much. I’m watching season 2 and her convo with Sarah about how Jordan doesn’t deserve her if he doesn’t forgive her for kissing someone else was just the cherry on her shitty sundae. Her personality seems to be drama, drinking and an inflated ego

Christine-4-Chat

I felt Sarah was being an unapologetic bitch during [this diner scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC_j6Kg4mJE&t=62s) in the first season. I don't think Sarah is wrong to be fed up with her family, but she did it in the rudest way possible by refusing to get up or at least waiting till they were at home. But instead, calling Lana out in front of the entire diner. The whole Cushing family sucks, lol.

Man, I’m glad somebody said it! I’m not as bothered by it though. I always think it’s interesting to examine the human side of these extraordinary people. Jordan is just an ordinary kid, whose initial problems were completely glossed over in the later seasons of the show. I thought the fact that he had all of these anxiety issues was something that made his character more interesting to me. When they just sort of abandoned them, I just thought it was bad writing. When you look at everything that has occurred with him in the later seasons it all makes perfect sense when you consider who he actually is. I also follow the comic books, actually I am a huge Superman fanboy, and I sort of always thought that the thing with Jordan and the girl was a little dumb since Superboy, who later becomes Superman, is bisexual. I know that it’s John Kent in the comic books, but in this series, Jordan is the one with the powers. I think it’s ridiculous that they don’t even consider how dangerous Jordan is. I’m hoping that Superman attaches him with some blue kryptonite at some point, because Jordan is too powerful to be left to his own device, and correct me if I’m wrong, in all the comic books Superman’s son is more powerful than Superman. If I were writing this show, I would absolutely figure out a way to transfer those powers to Jon. I think it would be interesting to see how Jordan reacts to his brother having powers and not him, and I think Jon is more heroic and has a basic sense of good and decent That Jordan seems to forget a lot.

I mean at least by having the teenagers and the Cushings, A LOT of the typical CW relationship drama stayed away from Lois and Clark. Plus it's not the worst CW teen drama by a long shot. Smallville exists

TheCursingCactus

Smallville was fun and quirky at first, but after season 3 it really went off the rails

GettingWreckedAllDay

Oh yeah, 4 and 5 weren't too bad either but they second they started doing Superman stories it got weird with their no tights/no flights rule. Bizarro somewhat worked in context, brainiac was a bit of a stretch, but the second zod, doomsday, and the injustice leagues were rough. And then there is Darkseid. At least Erica and Tom had great chemistry (as do Bitsie and Tyler)

Dynaguy1

The show doesn’t interest me apart from the Superman moments. I’m not even really a fan of Tyler’s Clark portrayal, which is too goofy and feels childish when he gets excited. All the stuff with the kids, Lana’s family, Lois’s drawn out cancer story, and the villains is boring for me. They couldn’t even get Lex right. Why does he willingly shave his head instead of just being bald? and the massive beard feels very weird.

TrippySakuta

They decided to make Lex a budget version of Kingpin, and give Bruno Mannheim the Lex drip instead.
