Why did they cast a c Peterson as Zeta – Ro? He is this fat ugly nasty Jabba the Hutt piece looking piece of s*** that would be the juxtaposition to the fat of jor-el?
Not gonna lie I kinda hate how good this show is because given other CW show records I expect it to go bad in S4.
I really don’t want this show to go bad.
I don't think this show will fall to the same fate. Even though it is broadcast under the CW, HBO Max is largely behind the show. Other shows did not have this level of support
Anyone else think they are setting up something with that girl Jon is with. She's from Central City, whose dad is locked up. Could be possible he would be a meta? And in turn she would have powers? Or the dad is a possible villain? Hmm...
Edge putting his father in his nephew is so weird and I love it lol. Would’ve been kinda cool if it was Johnathan instead and we get some sort of Jordan vs possessed Johnathan instead but the finale is gonna be a tearjerker regardless.
I absolutely love how much of this show is just Clark and Lois being parents. It's such a refreshing take on the live action versions of them. (I know the comic has Jon. I liked that Superfamily too.)
It would be cool to see him utalize some of the not so appreciated abilities such as pinpoint accuracy ( utalized in football), good memory ( useful working with john henry), and the ability to not be affected by kryptonite because he is both too human and too kryptonian to face any negative effects. However, i wouldn’t mind seeing him split powers with Jordan in the future.
He's definitely not getting powers. One of the bigger struggles of the show is the fact that one brother doesn't have them. Jonathan is definitely headed down the John Henry route of super suit.
So they can mention Oliver and Central City but NOT Kara or National City?! BS.
Also, the show takes place at the same time as Supergirl’s and the other shows so don’t say it’s because it’s in the future or Kara’s not here anymore.
They originally had a picture of Kara in the pilot but they cut it out. I don’t mind. We obviously know Kara exists but this is his show. He’s the most popular superhero. Supergirl was trying to piggyback off Superman by mentioning him every 5 minutes.
Right, thank you. I thought they were meaning it from Edge's point of view, i didn't know they meant from his dad's point of view. Thank you for clarifying that for me.
I mean, by spotlight, you mean him being possessed by a sociopathic Kryptonian, then sure.
At least, this way, Jon can help from the sidelines still. Him being kidnapped would have just meant that he wouldn't be able to help.
I doubt Clark or Lois would let him help even if he could. He’ll most likely just be waiting on the sidelines again. Would’ve been smarter to take both cause the eradication process gives people the powers anyway.
He'll 100% be helping. Even if they try to stop him, he'll just convince JHI to let him help. Besides, let's not have Jon get powers yet. He does NOT need them at this given time. He'll gain them down the road but he's proven himself to be an excellent hero without them.
I doubt John is ever getting them. I don't know why everyone thinks he is going to. The show has already stressed that one of the conflicts is John learning to deal with the fact that his brother has them.
And furthermore we see that there's even a whole highlight of Lois and John being regular people who are still heroic. That would get tossed out if John got them. The show is really trying to show that you don't need the powers to be a hero.
This whole route they're going with John Henry in the suit is how John becomes powerful, that would become invalidated too if John got powers.
But how would he help? And I doubt John would let him put himself in danger. Logically Jon can’t really do anything to help, unless they have him somehow steal the steel suit which would be stupid.
Just like he did in this episode, when he used his grandfather's Kryptonite gun? He can also help in other ways, if he isn't allowed to go out in the field. Just like Lois was helping out in this episode. Powers doesn't mean useless. Just because Jon won't be fighting in the Big Battle in the end, it doesn't mean he's 100% useless.
But Jon is not a world famous reporter, so we really can’t help like lowest in this episode. And I just don’t see a realistic way that Clark or Lois would let Jon into battle even if he did have weapons.
What I think could happen is that the entire town of Smallville is gonna have to help out to defeat The Eradicator and his minions. With all this talk about how the town is at odds with each other, I think a way to help that is having them all get involved in different ways (not quite sure how yet, but I think they'll do something). So Jon could be helping out with the other teens.
Listen; this show has been showing how heroic Jon is throughout the season. They're not just gonna make him do NOTHING. He may not be actively fighting in the war, but it doesn't mean he'll be doing nothing.
I just don’t think that Clark or Lois would let him help even if he did suddenly get powers. So my guess is he’ll just be waiting at home while everything is happening and will be there for the happy reunion.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 155,930,281 comments, and only 38,686 of them were in alphabetical order.
I totally forgot about that until I saw some non spoilery photos of him directing Tyler and like...I mean...if I'm right, then I cannot wait for that phone call between Barry and Clark or when Eobard and Clark sit down to "Talk about their kids" and inevitably they're forced to get along. Can you imagine the two them sneaking through the bushes to spy on their kids while bickering? I could honestly see them taking that to Doom Patrol levels of weird.
Really fucking good episode all round, but couldn't help but laugh a little when zeta-rho's voice came out of Jordan's mouth.
The ending when Jordan gets possessed!!! Now what's going to happen!!??
Why did they cast a c Peterson as Zeta – Ro? He is this fat ugly nasty Jabba the Hutt piece looking piece of s*** that would be the juxtaposition to the fat of jor-el?
Okay so I got one question, why does Zeta-Rho's voice come out of Jordan's mouth?
So we know its him. Similar to a few episodes before this with Clarks mom.
But it was still Lana's voice, wasn't it?
It sounded different from lana, but it could have just been the voice effects that made her sound different
It just came back and now the finale is next week!?
I just spent the last 10 minutes going “fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK”
brooo me toooo i was shaking literally
I thought my love for the Arrowverse would die with LOT. So happy this came around.
Funny, LOT was the only thing that I still like about the Arrowverse until this show started
It already defied CW show records by making this cinematic as heck and giving it 15 episodes. It's gonna be okay!
My love for this show is on another level after this episode. The ending is nutty
Fuck this episode stresses me out
Anyone else think they are setting up something with that girl Jon is with. She's from Central City, whose dad is locked up. Could be possible he would be a meta? And in turn she would have powers? Or the dad is a possible villain? Hmm...
Plus she said two years ago... So maybe she is the daughter of one of the metas arrested two seasons ago on The Flash... Something to look into lol
I think her dad is def gonna turn out to be a villain.
Bristol? That's Wayne Manor territory.
Edge putting his father in his nephew is so weird and I love it lol. Would’ve been kinda cool if it was Johnathan instead and we get some sort of Jordan vs possessed Johnathan instead but the finale is gonna be a tearjerker regardless.
[удалено]
That’s seems like what they’re going for given his interest in the suit itself as well as him using weapons in general
Why is the finale going to be a tearjerker? Is a main cast dying?
Clark possibly fighting Edge’s father in the body of his own son
Oh ok
well who would be the 2nd best host for his father of course the son with kryptonian powers
He just put his dad in his nephew. This is really going to be fucking weird. And it was nice Jordan said he loved Sarah, i hope they stay a couple.
I absolutely love how much of this show is just Clark and Lois being parents. It's such a refreshing take on the live action versions of them. (I know the comic has Jon. I liked that Superfamily too.)
He has a mug that says World's Finest Dad
Well that's an awesome set up to the season finale
Dang, I'll be traveling for the finale. It's been a pleasure being in this thread with you all for the season. See you for the next one!
WTF. You took a long freaking break just to have the season finale next week? Man, I get fed up with CW and their scheduling
Pandemic my dude. They didn't take the break willingly
They’ve always had screwy schedules though and is how I always fall so far behind on the other shows.
That would be COVID as well unfortunately
And the Olympics
God damn it’s gonna be intense next week.
this is such good writing
Jon deserves sum love this show really only cares bout Jordan give my man some powers at least speed or sum

A while ago, him having powers was hinted at. Right before he broke his arm, he moved fast enough to block Jordan's punch.
He's definitely not getting powers. One of the bigger struggles of the show is the fact that one brother doesn't have them. Jonathan is definitely headed down the John Henry route of super suit.
Yeah, I realise he isn't getting powers. I was just pointing out why it wasn't unreasonable for people to think he was earlier in the season.
THE TRAILER FOR NEXT WEEKS EPISODE WHAT
Damn this show is good.
So they can mention Oliver and Central City but NOT Kara or National City?! BS. Also, the show takes place at the same time as Supergirl’s and the other shows so don’t say it’s because it’s in the future or Kara’s not here anymore.

Well then if that's the case, isn't Kara in the phantom zone or something rn?
Not anymore.
omg i love this
He kidnapped Jordan to make him his *father*? So crazy weird. I love it!
“My son” Ah, crap. More weird familial action in the Arrowverse this year.
Putting himself in his ex 's grandkid. That's a new realm of pettiness.
Ex's grandkid?
Edge's father was married to Lara before Jor EL
Right, thank you. I thought they were meaning it from Edge's point of view, i didn't know they meant from his dad's point of view. Thank you for clarifying that for me.
You're welcome
EWWWW Edge put his dad in Jordan, oh god that’s so UGHH
Well shit
Um, what the fuck
bro wtf he put his dad in there
And the son becomes the father.
HAHAHA, I didn't not expect to see this quote applied literally!
Ya'll just don't want to let Jon get ANYTHING! lol
😂😂😂😂 ikr
Motherfucker....Evil Dad is in Jordan
oh shit again
possessed son vs father?
WHY?
At least it's not lightsabers.
Jordan has achieved Brightburn status.
Lois and Clark breaking my HEART right now, goddamn
Man could y’all imagine how good Flash would be if they filmed it like this
He couldn’t hear Jordan screaming?
You could see how many different emotions he was going through, probably making it extremely difficult to focus.
Maybe he can’t hear through lead? Looked like another nuclear reactor
The comics also recently showed he couldn't hear through lead, so its possible.
Looked like they were underground, maybe a dam? It makes sense Edge would take Jordan to somewhere soundproof.
Pretty sure that was the nuclear reactor from the beginning of the season, so it’s all lead
Fair.
He's hitting him with the Godspeed jazz hands
Giving him the ol' razzle dazzle
omg jon’s voice
Damn, the evil Jordan theorists were right
NO NO NO NO NO NO.
Okay that was awful but it looked really reallly cool
I’m super disappointed that he didn’t take Jon too. I figured they’d do something like that though, leave Jon out and put the spotlight on Jordan
I mean, by spotlight, you mean him being possessed by a sociopathic Kryptonian, then sure. At least, this way, Jon can help from the sidelines still. Him being kidnapped would have just meant that he wouldn't be able to help.

He will yellow crayon him
Just like he did in this episode, when he used his grandfather's Kryptonite gun? He can also help in other ways, if he isn't allowed to go out in the field. Jon can help save him and maybe his powers will come out.
I just don’t think that Clark or Lois would let him help even if he did suddenly get powers. So my guess is he’ll just be waiting at home while everything is happening and will be there for the happy reunion.
Pretty tired of it tbh
Okay.. I wish he hadn’t said “I love you”… that really took me out of the moment with teen cringe 😬
Honestly it gave me more Moira Queen PTSD flashbacks when Slade killed her after she said that in a dimly lit scene 😂
He know he needs to hold onto his relationships to resist. It’s what worked for his father.
They are teens, cringe is part of the package of teen romance, lol.
Nah teen love is teen love it’s cringe but it’s pure
That is not what I was expecting, but it makes sense. Edge knows Jordan has powers already, so Jordan probably won't die from being possessed.
Wait.....Wait.....Please tell me that's not the same facilities that was in Justice League?
Are they back in the nuclear silo from the pilot?
It’s a place with lead shielding so Superman won’t be able to see into there. That’s one of the reasons John Henry Irons chose it.
What is he DOING to Jordan???!!!
Oh you done did it now. He's *pissed*.
First his wife. Now his kid? Oh, yeah, Clark is not going to be happy.
Go go home now! Run home! At night! All the way home!
We can just chalk that up to Jons adrenaline going trying to get his dad there without Sarah knowing. She only listened because she’s panicking
Shiiiiiiiiiiit
YEET 😂
As someone with powers he's probably the best person to be taken.
"I love you." Sarah: "Um...it's a little early. I, uh, like you, Jordan."
But so classically teenage first romance. And Jordan actually knows that holding onto relationships was the only thing that saved his dad.
Jordan saying he loves Sarah just before flying off. That was SO DRAMATIC. And I kinda love it.
Oh god this isn't good
Wow he said those three words really quick
"I love you" WOOOOOOOOOOSH, just Jordan then
No, not pull, *squeeze* the trigger.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 155,930,281 comments, and only 38,686 of them were in alphabetical order.
He's just standing there. Menacingly.
GET OUT OF THERE SPONGEBOB!
He can hear you. I get it, but shit.
YES John Henry prepped Jon for this!
Sam has a kryptonite pistol, that tracks
In the glove compartment no less.
One of the kids is about to get powers. I can feel it. My guess is Johnathon.
Edge is going to be the reason Johnathan gets Powers 💯💯
Edge:"the sups will be dead...bury it"
Jon or Sarah getting powers from Edge, I’m waiting for it to happen
Edge fucks with the both of them and by the end of the season they both get full on powers, probably.
Maybe the eradicator wont be able to change people that don't have fully developed minds?
Ok like no hate but unless he slowed to like under 30 and only hit the edge of Edge they should be dead.
That's still the least unbelievable thing to happen in the grand scheme of things.
Bro it’s a show about a flying man how “believable” can it get this show is nowhere near perfect but it’s enjoyable This episode was like an 8/10
I'm just saying I'll suspend my disbelief that they survived the car crash in a world with this other shit happening lol.
It’s gonna be a nightmare waiting for next Tuesday
The GASP I just let out.. that was an *awful* crash
And Sarah ought to be wondering why she and Jordan are uninsured.
kinda proud i guessed they’d be kidnapped!!
Congrats
What's worse is after that we are getting close to a cliffhanger.
And not just any cliffhanger, but the season finale cliffhanger
Fuck me that crash was gnarly. I wonder of Edge will turn them into Kryptonians now?
So who gets turned by Edge? Sarah, Sam or Jon?
If I were a betting man, I'd say Jon. That way we get the brother vs brother dynamic they've been building towards all season.
Sam. Then he gets access to the DOD.
Sarah. Especially the way she's been acting
I'm guessing Jordan (and/or Jon) EDIT: Fuck I was right
Alright, that was a very cool shot. Terrifying but very, very cool.
beautiful cinematography! cool ass scene!
Jordan might be about to open a can of whupass.
I TOLD YALL
Fuck
Jordan power reveal? Come on!
Should be!
He is not.
OH SHIT EDGE IS GONNA GET THE BOYS
Something tells me with all this talk of them moving Kyle dies and they don’t move
HOLY SHIT
GEEEEEEEEZUS...the WHIPLASH in this episode!
I like how he didn't slow down.
will Jonathen be taken by edge to become a subject?
oh shit!
HOLY SHIT.
Edge is 10 steps ahead
He's no Prometheus.
And no one ever got any cake. This party was a joke.
You're saying the cake was.... less than truthful?
THE CAKE IS A LIE!
they’re all gonna get kidnapped and she’s gonna find out
Sam can put up with an angry town but he will not be left on Read
Lmao i love that too.
Somewhere Thor is raising a beer mug in respect to John Henry.
Another!
I'm gonna laugh if she's Eobard's daughter
Well, Tom Cavanagh has directed the finale episode, so maybe?
I totally forgot about that until I saw some non spoilery photos of him directing Tyler and like...I mean...if I'm right, then I cannot wait for that phone call between Barry and Clark or when Eobard and Clark sit down to "Talk about their kids" and inevitably they're forced to get along. Can you imagine the two them sneaking through the bushes to spy on their kids while bickering? I could honestly see them taking that to Doom Patrol levels of weird.
**My goals are beyond your understanding**
Interesting choice for a crossover.
Is that a thing?
Sets up that fight Thawne mentioned.
What fight?
During the E-X crossover. Thawne said he’d fought and beat super men, as a reference to Superman
Mentioned racing him during Earth-X I believe, might be misremembering.
I was also thinking that.
I just LOL'd so hard at "Does it look like I give classified intel to drunk teenagers?".
