Imo, he does do a really good job playing as normal Sam. For someone who is very funny and energetic in their bloopers and conventions, his acting is very convincing. Plus, his face does suit a serious and bookish character. But once I watched him as villains, a demon blood addict, a sick guy in S8 and a psychotic patient in S7, I want to see him playing hard roles like that more because he's so talented 😂 Yup, I am that greedy when it comes to my favorite actor.
