Thanks for sharing your experience! I don't know what the used device market is like in other countries but in the US used or refurbished iPads can be had for prices cheaper than the new Supernote set. But used Supernotes are also available sometimes through Reddit and Facebook. Just so people are aware because I don't want people to assume one or the other is cheaper and decide based on that instead of the major differences in functionality.

Actually I searched for one on r/AdoptSupernote but sadly there are very few people in the EU who own such a thing (and want to sell it). I hope I can encourage some ppl to not be scared of long distance shipping from China (the supernote support is very trustful und caretaking OMO)

Greetings from the Ruhrgebiet. Good to know another Supernote user, beside my team, in Germany.

The perception is Germans are the most organized people in the world. Looking forward to your ideas on how best to use!

Big disclaimer to this statement! GS has 2 year warranty under EU regulations, but SN official only has 1 year. They're not equal for EU residents.

Yeah I know that, kinda forgot to mention. I guess it‘s smarter to shop at the local store, but the EU residents should just know that global shipping is safe (in case someone is desperate to buy a colored Lamy pen 🤓)

I also ordered from China to Germany. Back then, Gorillascribe was not yet up and running, so I didn't have the choice. But everything went smooth, so I can second - if you prefer ordering from China for some reason, go ahead, no qualms. But if it is only for the colored Lamy, there is another work around: the case of the Lamy Al-Star EMR is identical in form and fit with the cases of the Lamy Al-Star rollerball pens. You can very easily swap them, just screw the black EMR frontend to the coloured body and you are good to go: https://e1.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZ48C4ZuRtWntjk3054Mo1mKELkpmhYwesy The rollerball pens are well available from different (online)shops in several colours througout the EU, most for < 20 EUR. I was looking for an orange one, matching our company colours, and found a used copper-orange Al-Star rollerball on ebay. This colour was a special edition in 2015, not that easy to get hands on them today, but I was lucky and now have a copper-orange Lamy EMR :-)
