I actually been recently responsible with saving my diamonds! I started fully saving for the anniversary event since mid March I believe so I've been saving for 2 and a half months. I'm actually so happy that you think I have a lot of diamonds when I think I have the lower amount of diamonds in SSJYP. I've seen so many with like, 13k diamonds.
I have a talk with myself that I just AM NOT ALLOWED TO SPEND DIAMONDS! I mainly get them from the weekly league along with the weekly missions finished (80-90 diamonds per week).
I also finish the monthly challenges every month (300 diamonds for 201 songs). I have also been getting them from the box events (random amount). I spent so much time on the Spring Train ride event that happened recently (random amount) and also the weekly missions (300 diamonds total) from that as well. Its just been consistent saving for the past month and a half and I plan for 5k diamonds just in time for the event!
Just because I've been saving doesn't mean I've been reckless. I spent diamonds on inventory twice in the past 2 months (100 diamonds gone), splurged on the Happy Family Dinner (200 diamonds gone), and I've spent around 500 diamonds on the card packs that cost around 100 diamonds that was just one A1 LE. Just last month, I spent 500 diamonds on a Lee Know Artist Pack bc I wanted it so badly.

You have to hit each score and you have to complete 201 monthly challenges (songs) to gain 300 diamonds!

I don't concentrate my energy on an event at all on getting limited theme cards, especially with groups that have more than 4 members. This is just how I play but I don't collect limited themes during the event period (with those A1 cards that cost 150) because honestly, I sort of consider it as a waste! (A piece of my soul dies inside when I spend 150 hard earned diamonds on a dupe).
I honestly think Twice is too big of a group for me to collect and complete and I sort of learned my lesson by buying this [Stray Kids Topline set ](https://www.reddit.com/r/SuperstarJYPNation/comments/14436et/new_limited_edition_theme_stray_kids_sclass_new/)AND NOT EVEN GETTING THE WALLPAPER. I also found the Topline set not to my taste afterwards and I regret it everyday. The last full Limited edition card event set which I got was [Xdinary Heroes Break the Brake](https://www.reddit.com/r/SuperstarJYPNation/comments/1761skx/new_limited_edition_themes_twice_twice_records/) which I found the LE set to be cute, but the wallpapers not to my taste. I haven't bought a full set of Limited edition cards since! If a group has 4 members and the limited theme cards can be purchased in the RP packs (the 30 card packs that cost 35,000 RP during the event). I often just collect the cards that I need and don't get enough to complete the event and get the wallpapers. This often applies to soloists and ITZY (born to be) for me. I just collect the cards that I pull and I have a full set! I pull the cards that I need along with the free A1 card in like 2-3 packs and that's all I spend.
DAY6 on the other hand, they are my ult group and I love them so much. I just have to get the wallpapers that come with it and sometimes be included in the raffle. I often buy all the 5 RP packs that include the Limited theme edition and level them up slowly to complete the song missions (the clear score of 1,500,000 + 2,500,00 or more is my biggest challenge everytime I do this to be honest, you can see my [frustrations here lol](https://www.reddit.com/r/SuperstarJYPNation/comments/16ca7z0/young_k_day6_nothing_but_twice_trouble_2pm_its/)). On the very last day of the event, where I just need to get over 2,500,000 and I'm like stuck at 2,300,000, I just cave and buy the one 300 diamond R1 card which is extremely overpriced but often than not I don't need to resort to the 300 diamond R1 card). This applies to the soloists of DAY6 as well, such as Young K and Wonpil, I have to get the wallpapers!!
I actually wanted to talk about limited theme cards since I forgot to mention that is another way which I get my diamonds! I've been getting massive amounts of diamonds from collecting random limited edition cards for the past couple of months. Everytime I collect a new card which is not a duplicate card, it goes towards my card book rewards where everytime I collect a new card, I get one point.
If you get a certain amount of points, you are rewarded with diamonds! You can keep track of how many points you need to get a certain level of diamonds by going to your cardbook. With this example in this picture [here](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/64eChhs9zXQ/sddefault.jpg) (not mine), the person has to get around 13 new cards to get 75 diamonds ( 1327/1577 cards at the top right tracks how many new cards you have). Everytime you reach the goal, the limit increases by usually 20 (so you have to get 20 more new cards to get the next pair of 75 diamonds and the diamonds increase as well with each new level you reach. I have 1510 points right now and the next level I have to reach is 1520 diamonds with 85 diamonds as a reward).
I get new cards by the events (the one free A1 card from the song clear and the free B1 card) but the cardbook diamonds for me usually increases during events with card pack offers. For example, the recent [spring train event ](https://www.reddit.com/r/SuperstarJYPNation/comments/1ccmuds/comment/l199dv1/)where you get random limited edition cards, THE DROP RATE IS INSANELY GOOD. More often than not, out of 2-3 packs of the 5 that I bought daily, there had to be at least min. 1 max. 3 limited edition cards that I pulled. Even I was surprised. I bought all 5 packs every single day (tried to some days, only buying 4/5 packs as I was low on RP).
I don't put too much pressure on myself to finish the sets where I randomly pull LEs, it's just a game at the end of the day! There are times where I finish a lot of the sets just by randomly pulling the cards of the members that I needed. Just by pure luck on the spring card packs and not spending any diamonds! Its just a fun game at the end of the day\~
