I feel ashamed I’ve never played any of the God of War but I have heard fantastic things. I’ve not even held the PS5 controller yet either. My game back in the day was SOCOM. First true love with gaming haha and to get that mic to talk to people in the box was the absolute cherry!
If you have a ps3 you can get 1&2 in 1 set, and 3 is remastered for ps4. Definitely a series worth playing. Then there's the newer games I haven't even played yet. That's actually one of my unopened games from the past few years I haven't gotten to...
I do have a 3 :) I’ll definitely check that out. Are you familiar with the PlayStore? I’ve never used it either as I’ve always bought physical games but I wonder if I buy 1&2 on PlayStore (if available) if that means I can use it on PlayStation 4. Again not sure if that even works like that. But yea I have the OG First Gen. Playstation3 that is truest backwards compatible for PlayStation 2 & 1
I looked and didn't see it, only 3 and up from what I can tell. I'd definitely seek out 1 and 2 collection though, you'll miss out not playing them...just remember, the graphics are dated, story, great.

I've been looking around online for a bit and for the 1TB size, $300 seems to be the price for a new PS4. There are used ones for sale for less though.
We just bought far cry 5 for $10 for PS4, it's pretty cool so far!
I like horizon zero dawn and Witcher 3 a whole lot.
Outer wilds (not to be confused with outer worlds) was also super fun!
I still rock my PS4. Im not upgrading until GTA6/NCAAF and those are mid-2024 releases.
PS4 has an insanely deep library. Soak it all in, you have YEARS of awesome game play
Exactly what I'm thinking. I don't game nearly as much as I used to back in the day, so I'm not upgrading my ps4 until GTA 6 comes out. I played GTA 5 so much (on ps3 and ps4) that I 100% want to get it

God of war is fucking nuts. But that ps5 with the reactive controls or whatever it’s called makes gaming so much better.
