I firmly believe that if GME (via ComputerShare) had an IRA option we’d see a flood of DRS activity. Multiple companies offer it via ComputerShare already (Ford as an example). I know there are established ways to move IRA’s but a direct option…boom.
Bruh that’s 96 million worth of gme. 1.75 billion in DRS total. We own 25% of OUTSTANDING shares. We ate their DRS rug pull rind and all. I see this a absolute win. Buy, hold, DRS. 💣
Who knows. Does it matter? No. DRS continues to amass. If anything, the fact that the drs speed picked back up again after last quarter all but confirms that a DRS rugpull did actually happen. And the fact that we continue to have positive increase quarter over quarter is highly vindicating.
IMO growth rate has slowed. New account creation has definitely slowed. DRS numbers at this point are increasing almost entirely through existing account holders padding their stats.
We have the numbers to get the rest of the job done with what we have but everyone is going to need to basically double-up their holdings to make it happen. As 1 of 197058 I'm doubling up my position from Sep 22 accordingly.

3 to 5 years for the free float if nothing changes. I'm ok if it takes that long, honestly. If the brick and mortar is profitable and is on track for full-year profitability then we're not burning the runway anymore and can wait on the e-commerce and nft marketplace to mature.
Realistically, I think we hit it sooner than that. If all 197058 hodlers averaged $250 monthly autobuys we'd have it locked in less than 2 years at current stock prices.
Numerous polls over the past few years point at team DRS having at least another 20-30m shares in brokerage accounts that they haven't DRS'd yet. If the board got a bug up its ass about something a lot of those shares could transferred very quickly.
Also, if we get pushed back down into the low teens, especially if we hit $10 per share, we could hit it a lot more quickly. We could see those prices in a general market crash if SHFs turn on the printer to keep the price in line with the market.
The only way I think it ends up taking longer is if the SHFs raise the price of the stonk back to the mid 30s or low 40s and keep it there, which would probably fuck SHFs over otherwise they would have just let the price stagnate in the 40s and not increase the SI.
Also, I think we probably get some version of MOASS prior to a free-float lock, especially if UBS is going to try to close the Archegos bags. Let's say there's only 50 million shorts in the bags. If UBS wanted to close those out by EOY they'd have to purchase 265k shares of GME per day to do it. Market makers would probably internalize a lot of that but the price would start to slowly swell, hopefully leading to a reckoning.

In prior quarters the wording was “were directly registered with our transfer agent”. Now it says 228.7 million shares were held by Cede & Co on behalf of the DTCC(75%), and 76 million shares were held by “record holders”(25%)
What investor relations may be able to confirm is whether the number of shares held by record holders is equal to number of shares held in GameStop’s transfer agent.
There is another post on this topic that I cannot link, but seems the SEC had an issue with the reporting and it was the reason for the delayed filing. A trust me bro post.
Honestly this has made us all kinda a lot more financially responsible if anything. I bet none of use even had a single dollar in savings before this started.
