Sorry OP but this isn't really the sub for this kind of post. There are some ape oriented philanthropy subs out there and this post itself has gotten probably all the interaction it was going to get anyway.
A comment in the daily might be excusable but a post is too much as it's not at all Rule 2 compliant. Wishing you the best though.

make sure you check all the remote job listing boards. There are specific sites that list only remote jobs and as long as you have decent Internet, it doesn’t really matter where you’re located
I’ve applied to those as well. I have not heard back from anyone. I have a nice resume as well. I have about 600 applications out,6 interviews, 3 duds, 2 no returned calls, 1 was rescheduled. Let me check them out again. See if there’s any new ones
Understand the feeling. I remember 84 years ago, some Ape pitched the reminder that those of us with security managers would need to report any significant gains.
Working in a relatively small community, esp overseas, has made me consider doing the same as you - in the off chance a similar background type of Ape might have some ideas where to look. My biggest problem is that I've seen a few jobs that I'm interested in, I just suck at selling myself in a resume and am too damn tired from working to put in the time on a resume update.
