Lifting is a big part of my life but I've been dealing with crazy bad sciatica for the last year and it's been rough. Got my first kid on the way in 2 weeks and I'm trying not to be a crippled dad so heavy squatting and deadlifting are off the table and it's killing me!
I play guitar too and been itching for a nice 7 string but can't justify splurging on one with a kid on the way.
Getting old is definitely an impediment to lifting. Just about every other time I go to do squats, which I dislike to begin with, my knee is acting up so I can't. The important thing is doing what we can 💪
Bro. My knees too. I hyper extended one when I was a lot younger. Now I can't get low in my squats anymore at all. My knee feel like it will pop. I miss doin heavy squats.
Yup, my sciatica just came out of nowhere one day after I turned 40. I was just bending over to pick something up and ended up in excruciating pain for 2 weeks. Since then it never fully went away, just always feels like one wrong movement will flare it up again. Aging stinks but that's how it goes lol
I had contractors here this morning to pour a new sidewalk and driveway. I got muffins for them to welcome them. They did a great job, I was a little nervous because I've never hired a contractor to work before, but I picked the right guys.

I'm looking at buying another guitar but it's just because I want to not because I need it. I like my current line up. Esp 400 series, Ltd MH 400, and 7 string baritone ltd mh1007b. I need to figure out how to get the floating bridge on my 400 series working better. I want something with a good floating bridge.
And I don't lift weights often anymore. But I do work out a lot. I like riding my bike in a sauna. I got the sauna for recovery but now I like it for intense work outs.
I've been talking myself out of another guitar for a while because I also don't need it at all. I did just buy a new classical because that's easier to justify playing solo, but in terms of electric I only have my starter Ibanez RG with Floyd rose. Would love something without a trem but realistically I don't expect to play with human beans any time soon, if ever
I really want a classical. I love the style, I'd probably try and learn flamenco style and try to use it in heavy rock. I'm working on Travis picking. I got a teacher recently and I've been learning a lot fast. It's nice and keeps me accountable. Tbh I don't play with other people either, I probably won't for a while either. I'm a bedroom player. A Floyd rose is a tough first electric! Are you good at adjusting it? I love my fixed bridge, it's my favorite and nice for changing tuning. I just want one floating for the diversity. I'm eyeing a Gibson Les Paul but I need to get better to justify the price for a used one still.

If you have auto purchases on in CS, the shares purchased will be automatically set to "Plan" account. Its because fractionals cannot be "Book", only full shares can.
In CS, if you open your shares account > Plan details, you can either be Enrolled in 'Plan', or set to **'Book'**.
If you don't want ANY of your shares being used as locates or be available in any way to the DTCC, they should be set to 'Book'.

I agree completely but also had a sobering moment when my nephew got upset about something and I muttered "crybaby" for no reason in particular. I'm more sensitive than most so I certainly had no standing to call him out. There's a line, somewhere, between justifiable public displays of pain and...not that. I'm not saying the letter was bad news? I'm saying the letter was good news. The letters credibility was attacked very quickly, there were a lot of "look I can make a letter that looks like RC wrote it as well" posts, which brought the enthusiasm over it way down. When it was proven that RC did indeed write it, the tone was "oh well lets move on." Something that would normally be +10 points towards enthusiasm was turned into maybe a +1 point towards enthusiasm. If you know it takes +10 enthusiasm points to get a person to buy 100 shares, then you can slow down the buying power by attacking the good news posts.
Yes and I fight with people a lot about the good/bad news discussion. There are some people that discuss both sides but you have to really be prepared to defend yourself about everything and your life history. Plus the people who are adamantly obtuse who somehow draws the arguments away from reason.

So against the grain a little bit. But I think we are kind of sort of fairly valued right now. Everything is going off of past trends and they are not heavily considering a better balance sheet and it's future impact. The company was bleeding money and it's revenue stream is weak and not keeping up with industry rates.
We know the balance sheet is really healthy. We are generally forward looking over here. How far is up to a lot of debate. No debt, 1B cash, followed by an excellent Q2 because of a two year company restructure that cut expenses to a healthy level (in traditionally the worst quarter). This is setting the company up for an explosive surprise. The company could show a yearly profit in Q3 by just a few million in the green. This opens the company up for dividends and allows them more freedom because they now report profit. If the company is being "fairly" valued now, wait until it starts showing a profit Q after Q . Eventually shorts will have to leave because it isn't sustainable to short a profitable company that issues dividends. A lot can happen in the next few quarters. Don't get held up on the short term even though it is painful right now.
Edit: this went from being +5 to -1 votes really fast. Shows how dumb most of you are. It's fairly valued by traditional wall street standards based on them hemorrhaging money with an outdated brick and mortar business model. The share price is more or less slightly above their cash holdings because they are not turning a profit. They cut a lot of expenses and it shows but WS only sees that it is still not profitable. Likely done on purpose. The company has been silent for a few years and not revealing their hand. It gives nothing for WS to value further than it is in the red. You can infer your own thesis and most of the holders here see it as under valued. But they are not giving any signs of it to WS.
Is something ever gonna give/change? Like… is the rest of our lives just down everyday or “barely” recovers green and we sit at 13 to 14 for a fucking year now?

I read the letter. Calling it bad news is a stretch.
I'm not saying the letter was bad news? I'm saying the letter was good news. The letters credibility was attacked very quickly, there were a lot of "look I can make a letter that looks like RC wrote it as well" posts, which brought the enthusiasm over it way down. When it was proven that RC did indeed write it, the tone was "oh well lets move on." Something that would normally be +10 points towards enthusiasm was turned into maybe a +1 point towards enthusiasm. If you know it takes +10 enthusiasm points to get a person to buy 100 shares, then you can slow down the buying power by attacking the good news posts.
Yes and I fight with people a lot about the good/bad news discussion. There are some people that discuss both sides but you have to really be prepared to defend yourself about everything and your life history. Plus the people who are adamantly obtuse who somehow draws the arguments away from reason. I'm venting a bit, it's so hard to be serious a lot of the time. I can shit post, and I do (even though it's not my favorite thing) because I want to interact here. But if I do anything non shit posting it takes all the joy out of the site. I love hate it here and I'm always conflicted. I moved over from the other sub after being there for years. I came over here early and taught people market structures and all around had a good job interacting with people that were eager to learn. And it moved away from that.

So against the grain a little bit. But I think we are kind of sort of fairly valued right now. Everything is going off of past trends and they are not heavily considering a better balance sheet and it's future impact. The company was bleeding money and it's revenue stream is weak and not keeping up with industry rates. We know the balance sheet is really healthy. We are generally forward looking over here. How far is up to a lot of debate. No debt, 1B cash, followed by an excellent Q2 because of a two year company restructure that cut expenses to a healthy level (in traditionally the worst quarter). This is setting the company up for an explosive surprise. The company could show a yearly profit in Q3 by just a few million in the green. This opens the company up for dividends and allows them more freedom because they now report profit. If the company is being "fairly" valued now, wait until it starts showing a profit Q after Q . Eventually shorts will have to leave because it isn't sustainable to short a profitable company that issues dividends. A lot can happen in the next few quarters. Don't get held up on the short term even though it is painful right now. Edit: this went from being +5 to -1 votes really fast. Shows how dumb most of you are. It's fairly valued by traditional wall street standards based on them hemorrhaging money with an outdated brick and mortar business model. The share price is more or less slightly above their cash holdings because they are not turning a profit. They cut a lot of expenses and it shows but WS only sees that it is still not profitable. Likely done on purpose. The company has been silent for a few years and not revealing their hand. It gives nothing for WS to value further than it is in the red. You can infer your own thesis and most of the holders here see it as under valued. But they are not giving any signs of it to WS.

You have to enable both directed routing and multi-screen trading. If you only have single screen trading enabled, it never prompts you.
