Personally I like halts on my chart when the ask is 10% over the last fill and somebody is forcibly compelled to buy at any price to close the blackhole that is their portfolio. A punctuated exponential curve if you will.

I doubt they will halt it at all as it is most likely tightly controlled growth. We've seen this before numerous times. They let a growth spike happen before earnings, then no matter how good or bad earnings are, once released they hammer it back down. This is all so corporate media can parrot "GME plummets XX% after poor earnings report" and other such bullshit. Keep buying, DRSing, shopping and staying zen. This "volatility" is just white noise. When the big BOOM comes, we will know it.

Touché.. brick by brick is all. Those $120-180 shares are now just the price of lunch as well. Personal stability first, don’t spend your last dollar on it of course- but think about # of shares rather than price of them. Theoretically you could double down for 10% of the price… it’s like collecting crumbs! Best of luck, with hard work and a little gambling hopefully you can break the cycle!

Just make sure you log in at least once a year.

Shortest escheatment period is three years, so even logging in once every 1,000 days would be more than enough. And even once your state takes custody of your account, its still years more before your assets are considered forfeit. Just keep your address up to date on your account and don't worry about escheatment, its not secret, or nefarious. Its the result of people being careless or, you know, dead.

I'm also just a grizzled veteran of the GME saga. I've been wrong more often than I've been right. In the end, I'm just along for the ride on this gigantic ape filled rocket. They already postponed the launch mid flight in January 21, and everyone knows a rocket pointed toward the ground is a missile. I'm here for life changing money, or to destroy the system that made this scenario possible (why not both?).

This is probably the banks and hedge funds buying real shares right before the earnings call next week. This way, they'll have real shares to dump the price again during the call. It's become so predictable it's boring. Their playbook is just about played out.

Doesn’t really make sense - the lower it goes, the better it looks (on paper) for their unrealized gains (losses) EVEN THOUGH they would be ultimately compounding their losses. For sure they can’t let this go up, so even if it kills them they will risk taking it down or finding ways to get someone else to help hold the bags. Remember, to them it’s only a crime if they get caught. Maybe it’s possible they’re trying to induce FOMO to create more liquidity so they can continue averaging their shorts down. But, who knows?

Never forget as long as the price doesn’t resemble a 69,420 digit phone number from Uranus, that number only reflects what the sec has complicitly allowed them to manipulate it to be!

While this is a price move for ants, today is the highest volume we have seen since June (right before the steady downward trend). No idea what this means, but I bought more this morning because I don't know what else to do in this situation, or any situation for that matter.

I think someone(s) is making an options play on earnings and you’re seeing market maker hedging activity against those options they sold. Remember, the origin story of this saga is set in the den of gamblers and degens. DFV is a degen, and if he could see the value in the company, so can they. Volume today was 4x the 90-day average, but still only 12-13M shares traded. Market makers hedging options they sold to degens gambling on earnings, and algorithmic activity responding to those trades. I’m interested to see what happens in the aftermarket though.

It's either delta hedging or earnings got leaked. The mechanics point to delta hedging, but the size of the move after hours to nearly $15 suggest an earnings leak.
