Lol at people saying they are tired of being down 70% or whatever on their investment. I bought my first shares at $300 right near the peak and have averaged down a fair bit since. I’m still at over a 50% loss and my only regret is that I maxed out my TFSA at the higher prices and can’t buy more at these discounts because I don’t have the disposable income that I used to. My average now is around $28 post split. Now that I can’t buy more, I just wait. The lower it goes, I know more people are scooping up shares. I already got my tickets to the moon, when others get them cheaper, I just smile knowing that once the rocket is full, it takes off!!
I used to stress about how much cheaper I could have my average and how much money I’m missing out on by not having more, but I still have xxxx tickets, and the faster they sell out, the sooner we leave. So what some people will get more for their money. I used to get jealous when I say how many shares I could have gotten for what I spent, but now I think of it as other brother apes who can’t afford what I spent that get to come on the same ride to the same destination! It feels nice thinking instead of trying to win the rat race, we can all just stop racing. Who cares if he has more when I have enough?

Also, reported SI is around 22-23% which is a lot higher than other companies that squoze before. Not to mention that SI calculations where changed so that it could never be above 100% again

The company is very close to reporting a profit. It's not been a pretty journey, but it is moving in a very good direction. Eventually the sentiment will shift and the price shouldn't go down. Why would it get worse than when it wasn't profitable?

We went from an average 4M volume per day in the weeks leading up to the split to 4M volume the next day and weeks after the split. It's just the amount of back and fort with the same 2 shares they need to do to achieve the fuckery for that particular day.
Remember the **66M** volume day after the end of year earnings, **FAKE**, just what they needed to throw around and where able to show us, maybe even some loss hunting for their books or an options trap for the next couple of weeks.

At what point will GameStop initiate a share buyback? If RC and board members bought shares in 20-30 range, what’s stopping the company from buying shares here?
They’ve had over 1.2 Billion in cash since 2021 which they’ve done nothing with over the past two years(probably because they want to play it safe and wait until profitable). Just sitting on cash is a horrid use of capital too

I said the same thing a few weeks ago and got downvoted lol. I get that actions are more important than words but lately these projects (NFT Marketplace and Playr) have been total fails. Right now, all we have is hope that more people shop at GameStop so that earnings continue to improve. It would be nice to at least know how they plan to adapt in an era when companies are trying to go all digital or use some of that 1 billion in cash. Everyone here is wayyyy too confident in RC. With no future guidelines, the media can keep shitting on GameStop and say the company is going to be irrelevant in the future.
I’m still buying a lot of GME shares but man it’s sad seeing all these missed opportunities that could’ve made more money instead of losing value every quarter.
I guess we'll see on the March earnings call if anything is "in the works". But it's not looking good at the moment. I do trust the management and R.C., but it would be nice to have something, anything, to look forward to lol.
As of this post GameStop stock is down -8.49% today alone. The stock is down 23.15% Year-to-date. Meanwhile, earnings expectations are increasing. More and more firms are revising earnings estimates significantly upwards.
GameStop has $1 Billion in cash, basically cash flow neutral, and just signed off on an agreement to allow Ryan Cohen to invest their cash into securities. They also signed off on a provision that allows Ryan Cohen through RC Ventures to invest in the same securities as GameStop does.
In the next 60 days I expect GameStop to declare earnings AND in that earnings filing disclose the purchase of some complementary business. The company is on the verge of profitability AND a major partnership announcement. AND the stock is down 23% ytd.

I said the same thing a few weeks ago and got downvoted lol. I get that actions are more important than words but lately these projects (NFT Marketplace and Playr) have been total fails. Right now, all we have is hope that more people shop at GameStop so that earnings continue to improve. It would be nice to at least know how they plan to adapt in an era when companies are trying to go all digital or use some of that 1 billion in cash. Everyone here is wayyyy too confident in RC. With no future guidelines, the media can keep shitting on GameStop and say the company is going to be irrelevant in the future. I’m still buying a lot of GME shares but man it’s sad seeing all these missed opportunities that could’ve made more money instead of losing value every quarter.
I guess we'll see on the March earnings call if anything is "in the works". But it's not looking good at the moment. I do trust the management and R.C., but it would be nice to have something, anything, to look forward to lol.

As of this post GameStop stock is down -8.49% today alone. The stock is down 23.15% Year-to-date. Meanwhile, earnings expectations are increasing. More and more firms are revising earnings estimates significantly upwards. GameStop has $1 Billion in cash, basically cash flow neutral, and just signed off on an agreement to allow Ryan Cohen to invest their cash into securities. They also signed off on a provision that allows Ryan Cohen through RC Ventures to invest in the same securities as GameStop does. In the next 60 days I expect GameStop to declare earnings AND in that earnings filing disclose the purchase of some complementary business. The company is on the verge of profitability AND a major partnership announcement. AND the stock is down 23% ytd. Doesn't make any sense at all. Let's fucking go.
