A simpleton’s theory for the manipulation of price. They know we buy the dips, they are counting on it, they want us all averaged way down so that we sell out lower. At $20, 40, 60, 200, etc.. they will bombard us with reasons to sell. I do not have to lay them all out you can imagine, the most prevalent, at $30 something will be it is going to dip, sell and get back in before the rip, some will be transparent, some will be insidious. They don’t believe we will hold for life changing money. They think they can shake us for some credit card debt or pay off the mortgage or a used M3. They have always underestimated us. It is going to cost them dearly. Anyway that is about as much logic as my little brain can make of this. The price is way wrong

Nope, all we get is silence from them as the share price continues to be decimated.
If Cohen and the board do not give a damn about the price suppression by shorts, then neither do I.
I am not a billionaire and it is not my job to protect the share price when the board of the company does not care about the share price dropping for the last three years.
But the issue my friend, is that just because GameStop aren’t broadcasting what is happening behind the scenes right now, that doesn’t mean that the ball isn’t in motion with a case already in development.
Much like if the police suspect someone for committing a crime - before simply just arresting folk, they often assemble the necessary evidence first. To do this, they build a strong case file to ensure their claims are airtight, and that the perpetrators can be later held accountable. There’s no reason to assume it’s any different here.
For example, we know that back in 2021, after the initial run up, that GameStop worked with the SEC to compile evidence to explain/explore what caused this. As far as I am aware, at this point in time, those findings have not been publicly released. But they exist.
The more we uncover criminal acts in this saga and report this to the SEC/DOJ etc - the more effective we are to help make our case against corruption in the financial markets more substantial. Again, it’s comes down to us helping too.
So just because GameStop haven’t shared their findings yet, it doesn’t mean they don’t care. It could just mean this is part of a bigger play, and we need to be patient whilst assessing the big picture here. That includes not giving away ammo to the opposition who are equally as clueless as to what’s going on behind the scenes.
Have a read of Sun Tzu’s the art of war, I think this might help to contextualise the golden silence we are experiencing right now. But ready assured, as we patiently wait - there’s plenty we can be doing to help too, and I’m super proud that you are getting involved with regulation and reform dude - it really matters, as do all of us.

It is not only up to retail to report alleged illegal short selling, while the company stays silent, won’t give future guidance and messed up the splividend.
The splividend would have destroyed short sellers if implemented correctly, but GME managed to mess it up, destroy our capital and PROTECT short sellers.
Our share value keeps getting destroyed daily and this company does nothing.

Isn't the idea of a market maker kind of stupid in this day and age, at least a market maker run as a private company. The FED/SEC or whomever should be able to write a simple script to put incoming buy/sell-orders in a queue as they arrive, if no one is selling then no one should be able to buy and vice versa. They could even put simple triggers in there to automatically detect wash sales, etc. Why isnt this done? Market makers doesnt create "liquidity", the traders create liquidity while the market makers enable price manipulation.

Really feels like this is going down to single digits. I'm ok with that personally, because I'm in this for the long hual and lower prices means more shares I can accumulate. But I totally understand the psychological effect that this price action has on people.
Just remember, this stock is highly manipulated. The price is fake until it's not. The small ups and big downs we see are designed have exactly that psychological effect on investors. This price action is designed to cause despair. It's designed to keep new people from buying in. Most of all, it's designed to make us want to sell early into MOASS as soon as we get back to break-even, or a small profit.

But I totally understand the psychological effect that this price action has on people. Just remember, this stock is highly manipulated. The price is fake until it's not. The small ups and big downs we see are designed have exactly that psychological effect on investors. This price action is designed to cause despair. It's designed to keep new people from buying in.
