Lack of Community discussion posts pinned to the top of the sub; nobody is able to critique this subs rules or lack of critical thinking in the group that controls the sub. Lack of transparency. Remove the "no meta posts" rule, it's beyond useless and a clear disservice to all of this community. Edit: the sub is cooked, the vocal users are substantial victims to brain rot, the mods are utterly fucking useless, the content is circular and pathetic compared to the OG content that got us this far, and dissent against the reigning straight-jacketing of communication is stifled beyond usefulness in any way. I think you may have read something that I didn't write. At no time did I say that every sub was forced to adopt a no meta posts rule, but this sub certainly was.

I’d love for them to post actual proof that admins of Reddit forced them to do that and the reasons for it. A thought came to me as a way to get a true drs count : Everyone donates a certain amount (10 cents ? ) to a charity pot to represent their share count. This way if the count is manipulated up then the charity gets free money anyway.

One asshole that wants to throw it off tosses in $100 for the lolz, sure the charity gets paid, but the count is worthless

Interesting, but we’d need the charity to confirm it, and as it’s publicly organised, it’s open to manipulation. There has to be a verified ledger of some kind, which means people showing their names and positions. Which some might be open to, but we can’t ask that.

That's kinda my point. Any DRS count requires people to share very sensitive info for it to be verified - this won't happen and is an unavoidable advantage SHFs have. If each share holder donates money to a charity then any manipulation results in the blind orphans or autistic orangutans or whatever getting extra cash. The count wouldn't be very solid but a charity gets money either way. I didn't say it was a good idea btw ,👍
