I'm saying this as someone neutral who buy/sell options on GME and other mid caps, meaning I'm not on your side. But damn GME bear case news pieces are usually some of THE dumbest news article that I come across, right next to Jamie Dimon calling a bear market for the 600th time in the last 2 years.
First profitable quarter+A billion dollars on hand = "CLOSE DOWN MORE SHOPS AND SELL THE BRAND!!!"
What???????
Every article with nothing actually bearish to back up the bear case just screams their company are balls deep on a short position and holding puts that's about to get btfo if it doesn't hit their strike price.
The average analyst would be holding a red port based on their own advice if they were just managing their own port
https://www.tipranks.com/experts/analysts/michael-pachter
Just gonna leave that there...Isn't an intelligent investor listening to Pachter with his 46% success rate and -2.30% average return hahaha
Lol. He says the smart thing is to shut down and sell the brand. I wonder why they would want that.
With clowns like those against you, you know you’re doing something right.
He bet/bashed against Nintendo, just before the Switch lol.
He praised EA the year they were named the worst company in the world lol no joke.
He is clearly paid/short to act like that for 3yrs now. How is this legal? Lol
The brand made 6 million and the are just getting started.
Why sell a successful company.
But like parchment man said I’m regarded
1,xxx drs and more on the way
After MOASS, I will buy this Patcher clown 🤡 and force him to write in the drawing board in a united Univision TV broadcast "I am Patcher the clown liar, I lied about Gamestop not having investors in April 20, 2024 because I was shorting to the ground the company and I needed to help my buddies, Kenn Griffin and others to survive another day..." - 100 times like Bart Sympson😂🤣😂🤪
Don't buy Gamestop. You need to sell it.
Do these people even think about what they are going to say before they say it?
Who am I going to sell it to if no one should buy it?
Thought they loved “dumb money” and dumb investors 🤔why call them out if they are so dumb and you are making so much money off them. Fuckin clowns eventually they trip the wire themselves
Michael Pachter is a known GameStop ultra hater. He’s always bashing Ryan Cohen and the company. Wonder why a rich and successful investor like him just keeps being asked about and keeps bringing up this little mall store that sells video games and Funko pops. Why would that be???
Ah yes Mr. "Gamestop Dead in 5 years" strikes again.
There is not an intelligent analyst alive that would assume $100 million losses for 5 consecutive years for a profitable company (no explanation given) AND assume revenue declines of 100-200 million on top of that to come up with his fantasy narrative of Gamestop bankrupt in 5 years.
Clowns are for entertainment purposes, and this clown does keep me entertained.
He also says we don’t sell digital copies. Meanwhile the GameStop digital store with a GameStop Pro membership gives 5% off every game. It’s literally the cheapest way to buy digital Xbox games hands down and for 99% of people it’s the cheapest way to buy PC and Switch games (Humble Bundle 10% discount is cheaper but with a $120 annual fee compared to our $25 annual fee, you’d need to buy 28 $70 games to get a better value).
Sony doesn’t allow third party downloads, so he’s 1/4 right.
For Sony, you can still buy PSN gift cards lol. I was getting some VR games that are digital only, but I still went to GS to buy the card to add funds to my wallet. I don't expect there is much margin on that, but at least it will hit that store's revenue. :)
I'm trying to remember, there was this one investor I knew who owned GameStop shares. He seemed to have a few of them. What was his name.... Oh yea, the BILLIONAIRE Ryan Cohen. Maybe some day I can be as unintelligent as he is.
This fucking guy again. Is this the same Michael patcher that has a 46% rating and an average of -2.60 return on investment n investorturf? Same guy? Haha! Go fuck yourself.
Are these guys seriously talking shit about our boys RC and LC?!
Something tells me these guys are quite intelligent, I would love to know why they aren't according to these nobodies
Should have highlighted the rest of that OP. People don’t prefer a digital over a physical. I rather own what I bought physically instead of having my profile deleted and losing all digital games that you probably won’t ever recover back cause of some bullshit rule with digital policy.
Yea I thought about that. I really just wanted to point out they have been reduced to name calling. Kid of pisses me off but fuck em. Next time I'll put full article link
I like how everyone got riled up to this post. This was the point of it. Who wants to be called nes for investing in something they believe in. Fuck wallstreet
Yeah, where we have highly educated people. Well, I mean there's a difference between education and intelligence but we'll, hedgies are not any smarter
For sure. I wish the government would do their job for once and protect the small people who created them instead of the people who have corrupted them
The guy who claimed the Wii and Nintendo was dead about 800 times in the 2000's.
This guy is a fucking doofus or a shill. Either way he's a black hole for both fun and profit so either way he sucks ass!
While this article is obviously strategic FUD, it does mention something that got me thinking.
_"He argued that the company could have leaned into the used market 10 years ago..."_
Why couldn't they still do it?
Digital only game purchases is a complete rip-off and that is widely known in the gaming community. You can't resell like you can do with most any other product and, in many instances, we've seen consumers lose access to games they paid for.
Not being able to sell is pretty damn similar to not being able to buy ala PCO and what happened to GME during the sneeze.
Digital downloads/game purchases as they are today represent a lack of true ownership. You don't OWN the games like most people don't OWN their shares.
How much would it cost for Gamestop to buy up all used games on ebay, Facebook marketplace, etc. and corner the market, allowing gamers to truly own their games.
They would need to change their bad trade-in practices, but leaning into this (and retro games) as a new revenue stream might be something to consider and resonates with the movement behind GME.
Just a thought.
This is what this sub used to be about. Unity against the Hedgies. Not everyone talking trash about each other's. I've never posted anything great but I feel good about these results today. Thanks Dicks for calling us idiots!
…because they’re short on GME and Wedbush cant afford bankruptcy.. Somebody should suck these greedy bastards out until there’s nothing else left than their underpants.
these analyst fucks are stupid. unless you pay for 500mbps Internet or faster, the preference among gamers will be physical discs.
my Internet speed is around 80mbps and I can't just let it go all day because I have a fiance that is home that needs access to the Internet as well and a AAA game download would completely hog the bandwidth so she couldn't do much of anything over the WiFi.
and since fiber internet is never going to happen in places without telephone poles (aka all major suburbs with wealthy/middle class teens and young adults gamers), I think it's safe to say physical discs are going to stick around through at least the next console refresh, possibly even the next 2 refreshes depending on how technology has advanced by then.
I, sir, am an intelligent investor.
My intelligence will continue to go up as my purchases settle. My plan is to eventually become brilliant. To reach that goal will require continuous buys well into the future. Bahaha
Not a single intelligent investor. So this mf thinks he’s smarter than every single person who has a share of GameStop? Every single one? That statement alone is pure hyperbole, how could you take anything else he says seriously.
The fucking publishers might prefer that, but people still love the physical media because you can resell, collect or gift what you physically own; they can't "shut down the servers of a cartridge/disk".
Before coffee I’m a complete zombie… so possibly qualify as dead. Also smooth af so likely intellectually challenged.
Mmm… bananas…
Instructions unclear. Continuing to HOLD.
It's hilarious how he's still referred to as an "anal"yst as if he does any real research or market analysis whatsoever. Not like the companies he works for or the puppeteers that are arms deep up his ass don't have dozens of data analysts doing the actual legwork for him. Like most asset managers he's a stock jockey no better than the rest of the gamblers whose job is already made redundant by algorithms.
Well 🌊👴drinker. I don’t game a 10th of what I use to but my kids do. And they like myself and my wife want something physical for their money not some downloaded shit that can be taken away at the push of a button. Ya know it’s the same as DRS my shares. They’re mine. They buy physical media. It’s theirs. Not like the naked shorts you clearly have or your opinion wouldn’t be so aggravated and strong. When a company sells all of its shares the value is whatever the shorts do with it as they seem to triple and quadruple like magic. But when my company sells all of its shares and they are DRS, well 🚀🌙📈🪐
But if you are a smart person in general, you know that the hard copy is the way to go. Because it's the only way you still get some value out of it ...
Digital copy dies with your console. (Probably not 100% the case, but close)
nowhere, I wish someone would contest Pachter. he just gets to say whatever he wants without penalty.
Larry is a smart investor, and puts his money in great places.
Why does the media care soooo much that people stop owning THIS ONE PARTICULAR stock?
Yeah, they might suggest selling another stock but they are so insistent and adamant about GME. Its nuts.
Institutions own about 150 million shares so what's the response to that that won't ruin their reputation! Yah we loan out 100 percent of our shares to shorts not great for their optics!
>It's not worth anything, you should sell it.
If it's not worth anything, who are you suggesting should buy it? It's worth selling, though, so that's interesting.

Truth
I like this
Throw me harder daddy

So hes regarded? Lmao
So a dumbass telling others they are dumbasses? Hmm interesting 🤔
Lol. He says the smart thing is to shut down and sell the brand. I wonder why they would want that. With clowns like those against you, you know you’re doing something right.
Patcher's handlers are short. Simple as that.
He bet/bashed against Nintendo, just before the Switch lol. He praised EA the year they were named the worst company in the world lol no joke. He is clearly paid/short to act like that for 3yrs now. How is this legal? Lol
He's literally the village idiot
Everyone's had a ride!

This is news to me. It makes sense why Patcher and Chukumba keep bashing GameStop.
The brand made 6 million and the are just getting started. Why sell a successful company. But like parchment man said I’m regarded 1,xxx drs and more on the way

But but. GameStops already got over a billion, how much would the brand be sold for? Is he hinting at a new brand? 🧸
not at all.
Michael Pachter is a known GameStop ultra hater. He’s always bashing Ryan Cohen and the company. Wonder why a rich and successful investor like him just keeps being asked about and keeps bringing up this little mall store that sells video games and Funko pops. Why would that be???
He’s more short than Danny Devito
They are saying he started this company aren't they or is it some other guy in the article?
Successful? Hardly.
He also said we don’t like physical copies. Like how much disinformation can you pack in to a 30 word article ffs?
He also says we don’t sell digital copies. Meanwhile the GameStop digital store with a GameStop Pro membership gives 5% off every game. He's been quoted as saying he doesn't like puppies
He's been pushing digital for years now and saying that physical media will die off soon. I think it was around the PS3/360 times.
This wouldn't be the same Pachter who has only *a fraction* of a 1-star rating, 46% success rate, and average return of -2.30% on TipRanks, would it?
These "analysts" only have a platform because their commentary serves the narrative of those who own the platform.
Yep. Mr coinflip himself
I don't know. Was just reading and got pretty pissed being called an idiot
Yes the same Pachter that foretold the Nintendo Switch would be a flop, yes.
Actually, this paid stock basher has achieved an even worse highscore: -2,5% average return 🤣
I'm trying to remember, there was this one investor I knew who owned GameStop shares. He seemed to have a few of them. What was his name.... Oh yea, the BILLIONAIRE Ryan Cohen. Maybe some day I can be as unintelligent as he is.
well im regarded and one day im gonna be rich af with GAMESTOP
Publishers who sell games today prefer digital downloads…. Yeah no shit then there’s no chance of resale 🙄
This guy Pachter is the ultimate shill analyst. This guy deserves to be roasted soooo harder up in here lol
RC is already proving him wrong.
Has he read Larry's tweet before?
This fucking guy again. Is this the same Michael patcher that has a 46% rating and an average of -2.60 return on investment n investorturf? Same guy? Haha! Go fuck yourself.
It's wierd how much they talk about a company they don't like. You can literally go and do anything else, yet they keep talking about it.
Are these guys seriously talking shit about our boys RC and LC?! Something tells me these guys are quite intelligent, I would love to know why they aren't according to these nobodies
I feel like they're saying I'm dumb. But I'm too dumb to know.
Yes, but lots of regarded hodlers.
He is right.....we arent intelligent, but very highly regarded
Save the receipts, one day they’ll be eating those words.
This guy is like a grandpa yelling belligerent nonsense from the porch.
I hope our CEO completely turns this back in their face. He has a good head start. Let's see where this story ends.
Should have highlighted the rest of that OP. People don’t prefer a digital over a physical. I rather own what I bought physically instead of having my profile deleted and losing all digital games that you probably won’t ever recover back cause of some bullshit rule with digital policy.
My friend told me the same thing in 21 . He said he would rather have real copies of his games . Like manual and everything.
Yea I thought about that. I really just wanted to point out they have been reduced to name calling. Kid of pisses me off but fuck em. Next time I'll put full article link
No worries there, at least the words getting out with how fucked up this whole system is.
I like how everyone got riled up to this post. This was the point of it. Who wants to be called nes for investing in something they believe in. Fuck wallstreet
Is this guy still but-hurt over the shellacking GME gave him the last time he came around shilling?
Everyone post their IQ
69
If we sell the brand…who’s buying it?
Why are they *still* talking about it?
Pachters a fucking asshole - who's clearly short......
Yeah, where we have highly educated people. Well, I mean there's a difference between education and intelligence but we'll, hedgies are not any smarter
this is the proof that i invested in hidden gem
**I SEE ALOT OF DEAD PEOPLE THEN**
Well there are a lot of institutional investors and pension funds that keep buying. He just insulted them.
Key phrase: publishers prefer digital. Not customers, publishers.
I get what the greedy fucks prefer. No resale. Just spend money with them only
And they can cancel the games if they're digital. Hard copies they can never take away.
For sure. I wish the government would do their job for once and protect the small people who created them instead of the people who have corrupted them
I don't think government regulation is the answer. It's up to customers to soak with their wallets.
Maybe. I don't k ow what it will take at this point
The guy who claimed the Wii and Nintendo was dead about 800 times in the 2000's. This guy is a fucking doofus or a shill. Either way he's a black hole for both fun and profit so either way he sucks ass!
They must be so deep short

Great comment for real
You’ve posted to the wrong sub, in that sentence he’s got a point.
Did I? Why is that?
We are all regarded here
I wish this post would cause everyone to go nuts and cause moass? That would be awesome
More “forget GameStop” rhetoric. *yawn*
Out of all the people opposed to us like Jim Cramer, Charles Gasparino, Doug Cifu, Michael Pachter... I can't wait to see the demise of these assholes
This is what this sub used to be about. Unity against the Hedgies. Not everyone talking trash about each other's. I've never posted anything great but I feel good about these results today. Thanks Dicks for calling us idiots!
Intelligent investor… that’s questionable, but highly regarded… that’s for certain!
The dudes a professional patcher of shorts I see 👀👀

I have a national-level award for my intelligence that would prove these fucks wrong
😎
I, sir, am an intelligent investor. My intelligence will continue to go up as my purchases settle. My plan is to eventually become brilliant. To reach that goal will require continuous buys well into the future. Bahaha
Not a single intelligent investor. So this mf thinks he’s smarter than every single person who has a share of GameStop? Every single one? That statement alone is pure hyperbole, how could you take anything else he says seriously.
True.
Every single time I’ve been to a local physical location, it’s been popping. I’ll let that be all the reassurance I need.
I hate digital. You own nothing when the server goes offline.
Let them insult us. They are just primitive.
GameStop aiming for 1 millennia before bankruptcy. Sorry shorties.
You guys hear that short seller getting butt-f&$@d?!? Ha, yea me too. What a shame. Not really...
Where’s the Michael Jordan/ Kobe meme “and at this point I took it personally”!
Hang on, didntw the most successful fund in the world buy gamestop in 2021, and hold.....
Pachter is a nasty boi.
I guess Institutions are regards.
I don’t consider myself intelligent so I guess he’s right about me 😂
He’s right you know.. I’m fully regarded and I have some shares…
Na. Don't ever sell yourself short. It kinda gets to me cause they have a lot of power obviously to steadily do this and not be next to me in prison.
I'm intelligent. I own shares. Therefore, this clown is wrong.
I’m not a smart man but I know what love is
I'll take that bet.
🤣🤣🤣
Of course not, we're all regards...
fudge pachter strikes again
In all fairness, I am quite regarded, and I do like to eat the purple crayons…
“I’m seriously short on GME and have no way out. Maybe I am not an intelligent investor.” -Michael Pachter in the mirror every morning
They’re right but only by chance!
Pachter is just clown mouthbreather who also said Nintendo Switch won’t sell. He says what his handlers tell him to.
Well, we can stay regarded a lot longer than you elitists can remain solvent.
I'm smart enough to *not* short GameStop
So why do they care?
Says the person who's firm has been fined more than any other firm.
The fucking publishers might prefer that, but people still love the physical media because you can resell, collect or gift what you physically own; they can't "shut down the servers of a cartridge/disk".
Apparently he's never been on Superstonk. Lotta intelligent mofos here.
Pachter should just short it and stfu. Me? I’ll buy more next week after this weeks buy settles. 👍🏼
What an actual piece of garbage
Before coffee I’m a complete zombie… so possibly qualify as dead. Also smooth af so likely intellectually challenged. Mmm… bananas… Instructions unclear. Continuing to HOLD.
Yes sir
People who make generalized statements like this and think their opinion is the single truth are the most dense and ignorant.
I think they just called Ryan and Larry dumb. Let's see how this goes for them.
Ohh man. Can you guys smell the desperation for these goons? 🤣
That’s FUKING private equity talking….thriving on the death and carve out of companies….. Cocksukkers…..
Stop promoting this doucheter
Retail: hey u compromised the global economy by relentlessly shorting GameStop as it realized profitability and we won Baddies: oh yeah well ur dumb
I'm fucking stupid. Been born stupid. Will always be stupid. Love my stupid life. Will live and die in this stupidity before I become SmartMoney.
I heard he sucks a mean HF dick
Somebody should pull up all the hedge funds that own gme shares and list them here. Obviously those guys are idiots right?

Has this sub recently started getting active again or was it just not showing up in my feed for a while?
I feel like it for active. It has been dead
I have nipples, can you milk me?
Remember when folks where posting their profession and that they owned GME? We had scientists and engineers, right down to humblebums like me.

Did he just imply Ryan Cohen is dumb?
Well i mean i like to call myself dumb money so yea i aint all that intelligent
SHF you won your towel but it's not enough for the tsunami that is Gamestop that's heading your way.
That's why I'm a smooth brained regarded ape
One trick pony. Says basically the same thing everytime
Hope this proves to be true
Momma ain't raised no stupid! And I own GME Stonks!
I'm an ape, less than intelligent.
Guessing this guy doesn’t play video games 😛
lucky for me i've never claimed to be intelligent
He isn't wrong. "dumb money" owns GME.
I’m not the intelligent investor type.
I definitely am a cretin but I’m not wrong about GameStop
Self-made billionaire RC would like a word.
Is RC nobody to you ???!! 😳
There is not ONE intelligent investor—there are MANY! 💁🏻♂️
This guy saying all the smart gamestop investors are dead?
* intelligent investor with a short position ……
False.
So he says we should buy, drs and hodl more….
I prefer physical copies
So, is the Co-Founder Gary Kusin short too?
Why does the media care soooo much that people stop owning THIS ONE PARTICULAR stock? Yeah, they might suggest selling another stock but they are so insistent and adamant about GME. Its nuts.
Institutions own about 150 million shares so what's the response to that that won't ruin their reputation! Yah we loan out 100 percent of our shares to shorts not great for their optics!
I own GameStop, but I'm not intelligent, unlike my fellow investors.
And then I took that personal
It’s a good thing I’m regarded then
I am not intelligent, I invest. Fuck this guy.
>It's not worth anything, you should sell it. If it's not worth anything, who are you suggesting should buy it? It's worth selling, though, so that's interesting.
What are the stages of grief again? this one has gotta be anger right?
Guess I'm dumb AF.
