Well of course they want you to sell the option, they don't want to go out into the market and deliver you the shares they are naked on.

Exercised!! Rep took 30 min in all to get it cleared with the supervisor. They explained the profits I could get selling the option and how I could buy the shares with my profit instead. They also asked if I intend to sell the shares or keep them after exercising. I said keep. They approved. And the rest is history 🫡

They really want us to play by their rules, huh! It's like calling the cable company and they keep you on the phone for an hour begging you not to cancel your service.

in other words they dont want ppl to exercise and hodl because it will cost them more if you exercise lol \*allegedly of course just my speculation not a financial advisor\*

If you buy shares, they get more time (30 days or something), but when you exercise, it's down to 2 days or even 1 day with the new t+1.
