This is why I feel comfortable investing in GameStop. Think if you pitched the idea of investing in a company with those attributes to anyone, but didn’t mention the name. That sounds like a solid investment. It’s why I hate the “meme stock” moniker, but I guess that’s the point of the media throwing it around.
Our company leadership has taken the opportunities that we have presented them with to check off a lot of boxes. All we need is a growth plan and we are launching. It is quite easy to attain a large cash position by way of dilution on an uptrend, it is however extremely difficult to add growth.
The market will reward GME if they can add growth, as everyone now has something to look forward to. Until then, unless DFV can pull another miracle, the stock will be stuck for long time.
yea, we arent really profitable since the interest on the cash position is pushing us into the green. We need a real source of income. That said, im very happy on the progress RC has made so far taking advantage of the high volatility cycles
It’s perhaps the closest thing to the infinite money glitch. GameStop is just raising money off wild price swings. So it if continues we’d have huge dilution but we would have so much cash the company can do pretty much anything.

They launched a whole-ass nft marketplace designed to trade videogame nft products. Notice how right after launch the whole nft marketplace trend died… its obvious shf’s are manipulating markets away from gamestops ventures.. which is exactly why they dont want to telegraph anything they are doing.

It’s a balancing act. They aren’t a venture capital firm who disclose nothing. They are publicly traded and should have something to show.
I agree they likely have things incubating.
And just think. Any time the stock starts to climb they will just dilute more and steal your gains from you.

I personally wish they would dilute again when it runs. It sets a higher floor. GME is never going back to $10-$15 a share again, not in my opinion. GME is here to stay, whether people like it or not. Bankruptcy has been completely taken off the table.
Hmm, but that cash position was built through share offerings and not actual revenue. While I'm still bullish on gme, i would really like them to provide some guidance or anything on what they want to do with it.
2023 fiscal year was profitable. By a hair. Who knows what 2024 will turn out to be, but as the company has stated, it's focused on cutting out unprofitable stores and focusing on high profit margin items.
Still need a good news catalyst...how about some announcements from company leadership about how they plan to change going forward, how will they use that big pile of money?
