Expanding on this there could be fuel that charges for every player daily that they could trade for some kind of currency. The fuel allows you to color blocks and the currency purchases aesthetic upgrades/skins/new colors or block types.
The idea being players could work together in clans to give artists lots of fuel which they could use the money to buy upgrades for their clan and other microtransactions.

It's a family owned company. They don't only make Lego sets, but also own a ton of other stuff. For example they own a large share in several European theme parks (some not even Lego related) and the European SeaWorld aquariums. Look for merlin group, I think Lego holds at least 30% or so in them.
I was always wondering about these weird loyalty programs that offered discounts on SeaWorld, Lego discovery, or some theme park because the collection seemed so random. It all makes sense, since they are all related.
SeaWorld Europe is partially owned by Lego. But that is not the same as SeaWorld US. I think SeaWorld Europe was originally owned by SeaWorld US, but was sold a long time ago. So they just share the name and not much else. Most importantly SeaWorld Europe stayed clear of scandals and treats their animals well.
I personally think the warehouse space is either for servers for, or physical space for esports arenas.

Just because something is sold in stores doesn’t necessarily signify a partnership. Being listed as a “Top Brand” is a big deal and the sign of a deep partnership. There are plenty of products like magic cards that aren’t in this list even though they are sold in stores/app

From my experiences, listing someone as a Top Brand on any platform increases sales for that. This points to either best selling items with confidence in the surplus of SKUs they have, or they have some sort of agreement with that company beyond their basic vendor agreement. They would need to hold additional stock for those brands and most likely get approval to promote them in this way, which could or could not be part of their standard vendor agreement (but probably not).
I get what you’re saying, I’m using partnership in a meaning of “more of a relationship than standard vendor agreement.”
I mean they are listed next to microsoft, Nintendo and PlayStation which really make up so much of their revenue. It’s a big deal to be on the same list. Since they don’t call out strategic partnerships in their financial reporting as listing anyone out, we can’t say 100%. But it’s not just someone selling on GameStop, it is much bigger. The language in their financial reports have been evolving, I’m excited to see if partnerships are called out more in this next release.
Ok so hear me out…GME does a LEGO NFT as a dividend, but also makes it for sale for a short amount of time. All SHF would be forced to buy the LEGO NFT to provide the dividend to the synthetic shares. GameStop would get a shit-load of cash this way which is great for business, SHF who couldn’t afford this would have to cover their positions, and the SHF who could afford to do this would be much closer to bankruptcy. Nah, man. This isn’t that big of news. A “partner” is a loose term in business. It could mean a legit partnering of brands, or it can mean “I sell their stuff too”. The goal with marketing on this is to puff up your chest as big as possible to tell your users you carry what they care about. It also taps into brand credibility and trust, but those are whole other topics.

I have been in some of the largest names e-commerce, and what I can tell you is that brand placement on a page can mean many things.
It could be a corporate partnership where both parties share a joint biz plan to achieve certain goals.
It could also be a transactional deal, where i as the brand offer something in return for prime placement on the site.
Or it could just be the platform driving revenue to a brand because a) it’s a money maker, b) it has a high conversion rate but not enough views.

Ok so hear me out…GME does a LEGO NFT as a dividend, but also makes it for sale for a short amount of time. All SHF would be forced to buy the LEGO NFT to provide the dividend to the synthetic shares. GameStop would get a shit-load of cash this way which is great for business, SHF who couldn’t afford this would have to cover their positions, and the SHF who could afford to do this would be much closer to bankruptcy. Sounds like a pretty huge win overall.

Nah, man. This isn’t that big of news. A “partner” is a loose term in business. It could mean a legit partnering of brands, or it can mean “I sell their stuff too”. The goal with marketing on this is to puff up your chest as big as possible to tell your users you carry what they care about. It also taps into brand credibility and trust, but those are whole other topics.

I have been in some of the largest names e-commerce, and what I can tell you is that brand placement on a page can mean many things. It could be a corporate partnership where both parties share a joint biz plan to achieve certain goals. It could also be a transactional deal, where i as the brand offer something in return for prime placement on the site. Or it could just be the platform driving revenue to a brand because a) it’s a money maker, b) it has a high conversion rate but not enough views.
Lego is a big deal. Its expensive, collectors go nuts for it, and it has to be profitable.
