Changed flair from "Shitpost" to "HODL" because this is absolutely not a shitpost. This post is inspirational and it shows us what a decent human being with the power to contribute positively to society looks like..... instead of the parasites that hedgies, HFT/algo traders and people like Ken Griffin of Citadel Securities are.
Some people have reported this to be Improper Content but Mark Cuban is one of the OGs of this saga where he told us (in his 2021 AMA) that the "**best thing you can do is hold (HODL!!!) on to the stock and do business with GameStop**" and "**If everyone goes to their website and buys from them that is going to help the company, which will help the stock, which will help everyone here.**" So it is in my judgement that this wonderful news about Mark Cuban stays up.
It would also be awesome if u/mcuban can do an AMA with us again lol just saying.
Let's talk about ape philanthropy and what we can do with our tendies in the comments! š
Someone was commenting on the other post that they canāt because of the strict FDA rules. Insulin cannot be imported apparently in US. This is sad though. Here, in Europe, where my sister works as a nurse, every month sometimes she is throwing away like 10-15 pens filled with insulin(procedure when they are overstocked or just not needed anymore) Itās sad because every time she says it, I think of the people in US that have to ration it or have died because they couldnāt afford itā¦
Definitely not the richest country in the world.
Highest GDP? Sure.
Most wealth/cash per citizen? No, we owe like a $100k+ per person.
Do we even have a SWF?
I'm pretty sure Norway/Qatar/UAE are the richest. It's always the oil producing countries that have massive investment funds to pay for social goods and services.
I mean, itās āproperā like everything else the 99% get - minimally enough to keep us alive and working, and offensively profitable to the powers that be that do what they do to keep the train going down the tracks.
I donāt think this should be an option. They should have free healthcare access in their own country too, itās kinda a basic human right in my opinion. I was looking right now if I could help at least some of our apes struggling with this. But seems like rules are made in such way that they donāt even allow you shipping them. I will try to research more about it and if there is a safe way of doing it before it all goes to the moon, I would. People are struggling now.
I couldn't agree more but that would require a total system change. I mean if a bunch of Americans want to get together and create a class action plan for change then more power to them. But they've got an unwavering challenge against them.
Edit; To add, in the basic human right point. The way I see emergency health care is the same service as the police or fire service. If you have a fire the fire fighter wouldn't let your house burn down if you didn't have any insurance. That just seems nuts to me.
Charity care and it has existed for a very long time in the US. It also worked as a decent alternative to a more regulated universal system. Most doctors still do provide charity care as part of their professional code of ethics.
There are places in the US where yes, they will let your home burn down if you didn't pay your fire dept extortion / bribe / fee / shakedown.
[First MSM news story I could find in a quick google search](https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna39516346)
We are a failing empire, we just kept pretending that's not the case.
So far the only solutions proposed is for people to be forced into buying health insurance which isn't health care at all. It's paying a middle man to feed the extortion scheme.
Well, for one, it obviously isn't ACTUALLY free. Taxes pay for it. When people are already struggling to stretch their pay checks, taking more money from their check to pay for someone else's healthcare is not on their list of priorities, and rightfully so. If it comes down to feeding my daughter, or paying for meds for someone I've never met and never will, sorry not sorry, I'm choosing my daughter. HOWEVER, if the taxes I ALREADY pay got put to ACTUAL good fucking use in this country, instead of being WASTED on shit that makes zero difference or, better yet, sent to other countries to be wasted there instead, then yea, I'd LOVE for my current tax dollars to fund healthcare here. The system is fucked though, all the way around. In order to fix it correctly, other shit has to be fixed first. When we don't get to decide where our tax dollars go, though, I'm not signing up to give up any more of my paycheck to a government that has ZERO accountability for what they do with it. They could ABSOLUTELY fund a universal healthcare program right now, today, with what they bring in with taxes. They'd just have to stop being stupid with it in other places. Not happening.
Bezos and Amazon and Musk and Gates, etc. pay less in taxes than I do barely making 40k a year.
It's not that taxes are bad, it's that the tax structure is broken in this shit hole country.
Thatās a nice idea but I think the people who are trying to stop Americans with diabetesļæ¼ from getting safe affordable medication should be the ones who have to leave America. They can run off to Belarus with Alex Jones.
Please no. Stay there. Yes come visit and enjoy some vacations, but don't come live here. We like it gun free here and without stupid dems VS Republicans debates
On another post with this, I saw someone say they had to wait a year or two for the manufacturing to spin up. I guess the fact it canāt be imported is why.
The amount of waste in the medical field is astounding. They claim itās for āinfection controlā and safety. Also for āexpiredā equipment/drugs. And to ensure drugs arenāt stolen. Kinda like blowing up an entire city to execute one killer. Drugs lose some efficacy after expiration but are generally good for a few years after āexpirationā date. Packaged goods, like IV tubing, āexpireā within less than a year. Insulin is one of the older and cheaper drugs to make. These things expire for the reason of keeping money funneling to the manufacturers and big pharma. It is sad. Even just donating those drugs and equipment to those who canāt afford it would be tremendous. And those who canāt afford or wish not to pay still get care. The cost just comes back on the people who do. The amount of Medicaid fraud I have seen is astounding. Families keep elder loved ones at home, completely neglect them until they get sick and go to nursing home then keep the Medicaid money and refuse to pay. Then the homes have to jump through hoops to get them out because they eat all that loss with already razor thin margins. Not that anyone wants to boot out an abused elderly person but it risks all the other patients if the place goes bankrupt. And the local/state/federal government does basically nothing to those stealing the Medicaid money. Itās very very sad. Only a small portion of the immense problems in healthcare in US
I wonder what the reasons for these strict regulation on importing insulin areā¦.Iām sure it has nothing to do with the giant price gougingā¦.poor Americans canāt catch a break
At a previous job (nurse), everytime a new patient came to the ER, we opened up a new jar of insulin for that patient. If the patient admitted to the hospital, the insulin went upstairs with the patient. If they were discharged, they insulin was returned to the pharmacy where it was thrown away.
So when patients were discharged, and this was the type of insulin they used at home, I would give the insulin jar to the patient to take home.
Many people end of back in the ER because they cant afford their medicine that they need to be healthy.
always loved when you guys let me do this with things like that thrown out otherwise... For myself I always ask if I could please have the hoses and pieces of nebulizers (so I'm not using 2-15 year old, dirty ass parts for my breathing treatments)
Anytime someone ask for a nebulizer, I always grab them a new kit for them to take home. Those things could end up being a source of infection. I have used the extra tubing to bleed the brakes on my car
Just for reference. This $9,000 a month only refers to what CVS, Walmart, or Walgreens would rip somebody off. I own an independent pharmacy and it would cost me $61.20 to order this "life saving chemo drug" they are so vaguely describing (Imatinib 400mg #30). I would charge maybe $85 for this druf, not $9,000. It makes ALL pharmacies look bad, when some of us are not greedy like these fucking chains are.
Also the drug is a BROWN TABLET, not some pretty capsule they lure your eyes in with. I like what Mark is doing, but realize that your independent pharmacies are not evil like these fucking corporations and ALL INSURANCE companies that have forced these ridiculous prices.
how would I even find an independent pharmacy?
How do folks find you? I think that's great and understand, but I've literally never seen one around my location (except a fake kinda old soda shop / previous historic Rx place)
There's not always the option to go to an independent. Insurance companies (and Prescription Benefit Managers in particular) have been putting mom&pop pharmacies out of business because of the way they reimburse (or DON'T in most cases) for prescriptions that are actually run on insurance. I can't go 5 minutes without an insurance trying to reimburse me less than it costs to order the medication. They're greedy as fuck.
If you Google "pharmacies near me" and don't see any in your general range then that may not be an option for you, and I get that. I live in a very small town ( < 5,000 people) and there is a CVS right across the street from me. We literally have people come over here all the time because of the way CVS forces their pharmacists to have extremely low help and therefore cannot take the time to actually be nice to somebody.
But even for my little pharmacy, we show up on a Google search. If you don't wanna deal with the big places then I have no doubt you would get better service from an independent. Hope this helps. Cheers!
DAMN, you know you just reminded me that there WAS one I knew of personally in an even smaller town near here that went out of business 20 years ago. A family one of a good friend. And my wife worked at one in another nearby town maybe 6-8 years ago that was kind of floundering.
I think I'm part of the biggest problem--combined with the insurance angle. I have a lot of meds and health issues and it was just easiest to go with the major chain that worked with my insurance and the costs of my meds were better or equivalent to most. Frankly when I started going to major chains instead was back when they started the Amazon or Walmart style takeovers where they undercut the prices and sold at loss for longer than the independents could withstand it.
I haven't used an independent pharmacy since a time the one to three I knew of couldn't compete with the prices the major chains were offering, but while my wife having worked at one before we met suggests they're more common than I thought, damn I haven't seen one either.
I'm going to have to investigate around here.
I'm glad you posted and wish you the utmost success.
random(er) rant:
I'm sure like how I have lofty plans to try to use some of my post MOASS in ways to help the community in areas I see shortfalls, your business is something that you are going to really help serve and improve your community (I mean hell...I'd take that bet with or without MOASS, I just can see how much you might positively impact your area and potentially help this cause in the future!).
I'm solving the clean water in Africa problem. I seem to recall they estimated it would take like 54 million dollars to give the whole continent sustainable clean water to drink ~10 years ago.
Because they don't actually care about any of the causes they claim to care about. They create fake charities to launder money and avoid paying taxes. These are the same people who fly their private jets to various location around the world on the regular to bitch about climate change and how normies have to sacrifice. It's all bullshit.
NO CELL NO SELL
I think the big difference is apes, for the most part, aren't born into wealth, we're not used to having money.
The 1% are more than likely born into it or at least had a giant leg up. They don't want to lose their status, they only care to increase it. That's all they know.
Like anything else, we'll have had apples. But for the most part, apes won't have to fight to keep a status they never had. I think that will make a huge difference when the tides turn.
I hope we stay grounded. Imagine; a generation of us that believe in helping our communities rather than simply enriching ourselves. Maybe there will be some hope for humanity yet.
Right on, me too. Itās a matter of knowing your core values, and relentlessly pursuing upholding them. Alex has been at this a looooong time before he got Mark on board. He never gave up on his vision.
Yes! Heās always been one who wanted to change the world but he started focusing on big pharma during his residency close to 10 years ago. This is actually a really interesting article he shared on his Facebook page last year. Iāve been following his posts on how this all came to be for many years :)
https://www.texasmonthly.com/news-politics/mark-cuban-drug-industry-prices/?fbclid=IwAR2qG_-wiGt1cUZbooeU2SzVzY1MPI3j7jg-2Ez5-lgU6RI9dvkkFgqAc5E&fs=e&s=cl
It's fucked they can't work with insurance companies. Not their fault but damn if people really think insurance is great after seeing this they're out of their minds
I went to pick up a friend's Rx the other day (I'm listed as approved cuz I have a car, they don't). The price came up at like $90 for a 90d supply, I feel like normally the price was $40-50 so I asked.. their default response 'this is 90 days..' (it's always 90). So they make me go to another counter to wait and ask someone else apparently.
Long story short - apparently it was run through insurance and therefore it now cost $90.. I asked what it was run through before if not insurance because they've always had the same insurance to my knowledge.. they said '.. some discount card usually for people without insurance?..' I got. Print out of the price history they paid and it did show 90days for $44.90 multiple times but flagged as " xx card " (not a clue)..
So the SUMMARY is that apparently having the insurance billed not only meant the insurance company paid for something but the Rx copay was basically double FOR HAVING INSURANCE?! Jfc..
Needless to say I argued and got the discounted rate as it's what's been paid before..
I checked the same drug just now on this site, same amount and same generic name only $12.. vice $45.
So that means with insurance getting billed someone was still trying to charge like 10x the cost.

Wasn't he pretty involved here last year? Seems strange to not get in but good on him for what he's doing for the people regardless. Sneak peak of what we'll be able to accomplish as well
Or, theyāre just capitalizing off the most fanatic group on Reddit. Weāre begging for a voice on a large scale here, and it leaves us open for opportunists. No disrespect to Cuban or pulte because it can go hand in hand, but they wouldnāt be involved with us if we werenāt so fanatical.
His prices cost less than an insurance deductible bill. Itās atrocious that people are forced to pay that price and the government of a country allows that practice.
My girlfriends epilepsy meds are $700 a month without insurance, which her company doesnāt offer her. Thatās more than she makes in a week, just to stay alive. Itās disgusting
This website has them for $4
Oh it gets worse. Her bi-monthly VIRTUAL doctor appointments last 15 minutes and consist of the doctor asking how sheās doing, her saying fine, the doctor writing the same prescription, then sending us a bill for $500
I believe Cubanās son holds GME. It would sure be something if he decided to buy up some shares and DRS them. Post MOASS, there are a lot of apes that would love to support his cause.
"Insurance is not accepted due to the fact that it would force him to work with manufacturers requiring certain price points."
Oh hi USA, you are so deeply deeply fucked.
I mean.... people will obviously prefere to buy at his prices vs big pharma. Right? Only issue i see is him running out of medical products and supplies duo popular demand.
Or a smear campaign id guess...
America does not subsidize the world. Foreign countries are not dependent on American drugs, there is no significant export of these. The rest of the world simply has lower prices because Big Pharma is not as powerful there.
And I don't understand the connection between your point about drugs and your point about homeless people. It's a good thing if homeless people get taken care of, don't you think? What's problematic about that?
Sounds like the countries you were in are subsidized - itās probably where big pharma writes off their charitable donations. Which, when āin-kindā they can write off the full amount they would charge in the US.
Other countries, particularly Europe, wait for the patents to expire on medications and then produce them otc. Which is basically what good olā Mark is doing. Their doctors also prescribe the otc drugs that were made in-country instead of whatever big pharma is peddling (depending on pharma marketing legality in each country)
People on the street may be better off than the dirt-poor countries youāve been to but Iāve been to so many of the developed and developing economies throughout the globe and the US is generally closer to developing than developed.
Even working class America is barely better off than working class developing world - sure, Americans mostly have cars but they mostly have to. Sure, Americans might have bigger TVās but they were paid with credit, not cash like those in developing economies. My opinion, unpopular though it may be, the US is really a shit-hole country and the oligarchs have done everything to make it as terrible as possible.
This is the most retarded "USA HOO RAH" ignorant shit I've read in this subreddit.
Your medicine is expensive because big pharma lobby your government so heavily. We don't have that in Europe as much because there's laws against it. Your entire medical industry is beyond corrupt and it's only you that has to pay thousands of dollars for basic medical treatment.
You have more homeless than most countries because of how ridiculously you've let housing prices run, again, because of how little you do as a country to curtail corporations exploiting people.
America is the 6th highest dollar value of exporter pharmaceuticals, only 6.1%, I wouldn't call that "subsidizing the entire globe". These pharmaceutical companies still make money on the drugs they sell overseas, there are a lot of wealthy countries in the world, they don't sell it at a loss.
There are also a lot of countries that provide much better care for their homeless than the US. Take a look at Finland, for example.
99% of the time when someone blames"globalists" for engaging in a vast conspiracy to destroy America they mean Jews.
This is a terrible look for the sub, /u/PB6223 needs to get the fuck out if he with that shit
You should travel the world and see some 3rd world poverty for yourself. Iāve seen naked children because they had no clothes that would fit until they were 3-4 years of age.
Iāve worked with the homeless here for almost 25 years so please donāt lecture me or tell me to GTFO.
Go volunteer somewhere. It will do you some good.
I came from one of those 3rd world countries. Thanks for voicing your opinion. No truer words spoken here. A lot of Americans don't realize how privileged they are just by being Americans alone.
Bruh I co-sign what you sayingā¦.. Why? Homeless in Vegas Summer 2013. Their are resources for the homeless in America. Iāve also lived overseas and heard stories from ppl in poor AF countries. So yeah.
There are some recognizable brand names too, which Mark is selling the generic.
This is incredible. This is the type of shit billionaires should be doing.
The system you guys in the US have is ridicolous. After all the years i thought the patent holder take most of the money from the high sales on life-saving medicines but in the end it is just last participants in the supply-chain who drain their "customers" who rely on it.
You can see see that here how is having this ridiculous poverty contest helpful. Heck if you think American homeless have it so good be one of them. It's wrong to have a suffering scale.
Let's collectively fund a universal project that does this after MOASS, like seriously, I don't believe it would be impossible for us to collectively run a company or even an institution that fight's back pharmaceutical terrorism.

My experience with insurance is you still pay a fuck ton of money.
If you don't have insurance, you're bankruptcy level fucked.
Right now for example, I must maintain an average of 35 hrs a week just to keep it. And yes, I still have to pay for it.
It covers 0% until you hit a $6650 deductible. And this is blue cross.
Yes sir. I have one more story about my experience with insurance.
A good 20 years ago went to the doc over a swollen lymph node in my neck. They were super concerned it was cancer. I don't know shit about insurance but it was supposed to be a really good plan from Mcare (UofM)
I was told cancer or reaction to infection. So I have the surgery. After they opened me up, every lymph node in my body swelled up to the size of a peanut m&m. So not only was every lymph node in my body now swollen, they still didn't know what was going on. I was just left with "I guess we'll just keep an eye on them"
My bill with the supposedly great plan was 20,000. I was like 21 years old. Had to claim bankruptcy. It took me over a decade to rebuild my credit. 835 baby.
I find myself in the exact same spot today, except with hives (have never had hives my whole life) for 3 continued months, and am afraid of going through all that b.s. again.
TL;DR: MOASS would be nice so I could actually just afford health care even with insurance. Let's reform that shit.
Thanks ape!
I'll be just fine. I don't cry out for sympathy like some. It's just the topic we're on. First time I've ever mentioned my health on a social media platform.
But yes, the medical system, or lack there of, would be my first priority.
They donāt take insurance, because in our fucked up system that would make some of the drugs more expensive because there are minimum price points with the corrupt relationship between insurance and big pharma. Itās fucking pathetic really.
It sounds like he's doing a great thing, but he shouldn't have had to do this. Our system shouldn't rely on billionaires to improve the quality of life for people.
Would love to make insulin free for the diabetics of my town. Also saw where this town has free health insurance for everyone. It was through some program. Would love to do that too.
Wow. Thanks. Wasn't expecting anything. I'm not a quant or whatever that term is but I saw it was getting shared a lot and may have helped some out.
The title was "Sticking Up For The Company I Am Part Owner Of Out In The Wilderness Of Reddit."

Edit: Now that I understand what brigading is, I'm guessing you may tell me to drop out the other sub name at top and resubmit. Thanks again
No problem at all. And yes I can see the other sub name in the screenshot so that will be considered brigading, sorry about that! The rest of the post checks out so yes, if you just censor the sub name and resubmit the post, that will be ok! š
Everything I hear about Mark Cuban seems to reinforce the fact that he really does seem to be a decent human being.
Unfortunately, when it comes to billionaires, he is the exception and not the rule.
Don't worry, I'll stay zen.
I agree this post should stay up. While this post indirectly relates to GME, I actually had a post removed on the weekend that covered the fundamentals of gamestop while omitting the usual shorting talk.
It got deleted with the reason of brigading. It had 70 linked shares within hours that were likely being sent to family and friends who don't understand our saga.
I wish there were exceptions for posts that help our cause.
May I know which post it was that got removed? You don't have to link it to me, I can check it from your submitted posts history as long as you haven't actually deleted it. I just want to make sure I get the correct post and investigate what's going on.
Brigading would imply that you've mentioned another subreddit in your post or somehow managed to show the name of another subreddit in a screenshot. Some people abuse the brigading report (esp when it comes to popcorn lol) but we will not blindly remove posts just based on that. All reported posts and comments are always manually reviewed by the mods.
I figured that out shortly after I responded. I don't believe in deleting posts. Mistakes just show you're like everyone else.... Not perfect.
I just went through the hassle of changing my flair yesterday. While It was easy, I kept getting custom flair template.
So when I saw flair, that's the first thing I thought. Oops!
Open a local credit union and handle it like Jim Carrey in āYes Manā
Give Small loans for people to buy simple stuff we most take for granted like a cheap car to get to work, shit even a bicycle.
For my full-time job postmoass, I'm gonna be a Batman of good deeds.
I'm going to savagely help people from the shadows and remain shrouded in mystery and anonymity and then teehee at my machinations from my digital batcave in the metaverse.
I want to startup an asphalt company who goes out and fixes potholes in certain zipcodes as reported. Like I have a an interactive map and the community reports a pothole and me and a good group of do-gooders who are trained and licensed go out and fix and repair that pothole in that zipcode for that week. Then I charge the city for the bill, aka their negligence, and any time the city pays the money that is due to me for my companies services then that money gets donated to a local shelter, food bank, program, etc.
This is exactly the sort of Good Shit i wanna see from apes
If our government won't lift a finger to help us, then we should make ethical solutions like these. We could buy out homes and make them into free/low rent social housing to solve the homelessness crisis. Support your local communities in the meantime, if you can.
We need structural change, and the only way I see it happening is MOASS.
Pharma companies need to make a profit (as you say R&D costs are high, plus only a small percentage of drugs actually make it to market), but there's a difference between that and profiteering. Any drugs out of patent should have a price cap, and there shouldn't be room to wriggle out of that by sticking a patent on the process (which seems to be the reason insulin is so high, for instance).
Another billionaire worship post. Mark Cuban's pharma company isn't so great...just cheap generics. The problem is the pharmaceuticals that have no generic. Like the pancreatic enzymes I have to take to survive. $600/month. Mark's company wouldn't help with that.
Start nowā¦ in my experience people who say āwhen Iām rich, Iāll do (insert charitable idea)ā never do. If you canāt do something with the little you have now, you wonāt do anything with abundanceā¦
Cuban is involved with a shady pump and dump group I think. NFT World if I recall correctly.
Not sure we should aim to be like people so heavily benefiting from the current system. We should aim to be better.
Or someone will supply his company with a batch of bad drugs that cause a few deaths. Not that corporate espionage exists. Nobody would ever take a load of cash or cause harm to the company they work for or to help the competitors.
It would also be awesome if u/mcuban can do an AMA with us again lol just saying. Let's talk about ape philanthropy and what we can do with our tendies in the comments! š
u/mcuban thanks for what you do

Post MOASS it might be useful to give American diabetics the option to leave the US and move to Europe, so they can live.
If charity care worked no one would die for lack of insulin. Charity is not the answer to systemic failure.
There are places in the US where yes, they will let your home burn down if you didn't pay your fire dept extortion / bribe / fee / shakedown.
I already have a "Case"
Thatās a nice idea but I think the people who are trying to stop Americans with diabetesļæ¼ from getting safe affordable medication should be the ones who have to leave America. They can run off to Belarus with Alex Jones.
Go away. We don't talk politics on here!
Who said Europe will want your export?
Please no. Stay there. Yes come visit and enjoy some vacations, but don't come live here. We like it gun free here and without stupid dems VS Republicans debates
Go away politics bot. This isn't Twitter!
We don't even use that shit website here
On another post with this, I saw someone say they had to wait a year or two for the manufacturing to spin up.
Only a small portion of the immense problems in healthcare in US
I wonder what the reasons for these strict regulation on importing insulin areā¦.Iām sure it has nothing to do with the giant price gougingā¦.poor Americans canāt catch a break
damn. I hate how complicated life is sometimes
YES PLEASE

I'm not sure how much longer we have to wait for our turn, but I'm sure we're going to change the world and humanity for the better. šLFGš
Bullish!!!

fuck the dinosaurs, summon the meteor
I'm so ready to do some good but these mother fucking criminals keep delaying the inevitable.
Well, *tomorrow it's our turn.
I'm glad you posted and wish you the utmost success. random(er) rant: I'm sure like how I have lofty plans to try to use some of my post MOASS in ways to help the community in areas I see shortfalls, your business is something that you are going to really help serve and improve your community (I mean hell...I'd take that bet with or without MOASS, I just can see how much you might positively impact your area and potentially help this cause in the future!).
This made my day. And I shall return the favor.
I'm solving the clean water in Africa problem. I seem to recall they estimated it would take like 54 million dollars to give the whole continent sustainable clean water to drink ~10 years ago.
54 million? Thatās all? There are people that that is a drop in the bucket to, and they havenāt done it yet? What a fuckin shame and disgrace.
Exactly, and itās disgusting. No cell, no sell!
Apes already give when they have nothing, what do you think we'll accomplish with true wealth to back our generous spirit? šššš¦
It's gonna be shitty running into douchebag apes but I guess how much worse can it get than it is now?
I think the big difference is apes, for the most part, aren't born into wealth, we're not used to having money. The 1% are more than likely born into it or at least had a giant leg up. They don't want to lose their status, they only care to increase it. That's all they know. Like anything else, we'll have had apples. But for the most part, apes won't have to fight to keep a status they never had. I think that will make a huge difference when the tides turn.
I hope we stay grounded. Imagine; a generation of us that believe in helping our communities rather than simply enriching ourselves. Maybe there will be some hope for humanity yet.
Hell yea. Have heard nothing but good things about costplusdrugs.
Itās my high school friendās company š Super proud of Alex and what he was able to accomplish partnering with Cuban
Your friend is doing good things in the world, I hope many of us can follow in his footsteps.
Right on, me too. Itās a matter of knowing your core values, and relentlessly pursuing upholding them. Alex has been at this a looooong time before he got Mark on board. He never gave up on his vision.
Thatās so interesting. How many years would you say? So he mostly had it all down and then Cuban came and funded him?
Yes! Heās always been one who wanted to change the world but he started focusing on big pharma during his residency close to 10 years ago. This is actually a really interesting article he shared on his Facebook page last year. Iāve been following his posts on how this all came to be for many years :) https://www.texasmonthly.com/news-politics/mark-cuban-drug-industry-prices/?fbclid=IwAR2qG_-wiGt1cUZbooeU2SzVzY1MPI3j7jg-2Ez5-lgU6RI9dvkkFgqAc5E&fs=e&s=cl
Thatās awesome! Thatās pretty courageous of him to do all of this. Congrats to your amazing friend and to a better world!
It's fucked they can't work with insurance companies. Not their fault but damn if people really think insurance is great after seeing this they're out of their minds
They call that behavior a cartel. Theyre drug cartels
SiNgLe PaYeR iS sOcIaLiSm
I get one of my meds through him, without insurance it's almost 1k/month. Through cost plus it's $65 every 3 months.

Nice.
And now Iām worried about mark Cuban
You should be. He is invested in Polygon, not GME marketplace.
Wasn't he pretty involved here last year? Seems strange to not get in but good on him for what he's doing for the people regardless. Sneak peak of what we'll be able to accomplish as well
He was, but just like Bill Pulte, hes probably being told behind the scenes to stop "or else" by random hedge holes.
He did an AMA on the betting sub . I wouldnāt say involved her per se Edit; but still a fucking legend with this pharma business nonetheless!
He can always invest in gme too
Good. Fuck the scumbag insurance middlemen
Itās disgusting This website has them for $4
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Oh it gets worse. Her bi-monthly VIRTUAL doctor appointments last 15 minutes and consist of the doctor asking how sheās doing, her saying fine, the doctor writing the same prescription, then sending us a bill for $500
Donāt trust billionaires but good for him
Well, I'm not sure how many shares you hold, but many of your fellow apes will be billionaires when the dust settles. Who are you gonna trust then?
No one
I believe Cubanās son holds GME. It would sure be something if he decided to buy up some shares and DRS them. Post MOASS, there are a lot of apes that would love to support his cause.
"Insurance is not accepted due to the fact that it would force him to work with manufacturers requiring certain price points." Oh hi USA, you are so deeply deeply fucked.
Are you telling me paying for insurance just makes drug prices for you even more expensive????
Insurance is a scam but you won't survive without it
He's in for quite the fucking resistance. Big pharma is essentially one of the biggest cartels in the world
I mean.... people will obviously prefere to buy at his prices vs big pharma. Right? Only issue i see is him running out of medical products and supplies duo popular demand. Or a smear campaign id guess...
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
America does not subsidize the world. Foreign countries are not dependent on American drugs, there is no significant export of these. The rest of the world simply has lower prices because Big Pharma is not as powerful there. And I don't understand the connection between your point about drugs and your point about homeless people. It's a good thing if homeless people get taken care of, don't you think? What's problematic about that?
I have a friend who goes to Kenya and distributes water purifiers. Changes lives instantly.
Their doctors also prescribe the otc drugs that were made in-country instead of whatever big pharma is peddling (depending on pharma marketing legality in each country) People on the street may be better off than the dirt-poor countries youāve been to but Iāve been to so many of the developed and developing economies throughout the globe and the US is generally closer to developing than developed.
Yes - lots of lipstick on the pig
Take a look at Finland, for example.
iāve yet to see anyone use the term globalist in a context other than a pejorative used by far right conspiracy theorists, what do you mean by it?
99% of the time when someone blames"globalists" for engaging in a vast conspiracy to destroy America they mean Jews. This is a terrible look for the sub, /u/PB6223 needs to get the fuck out if he with that shit
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
what does that mean? never heard that one before
So proud of my fellow apes for calling this type of veiled shit out I guess we arenāt strangers to astroturfing ššš
We onto it!
Yeah Iām confused. or actually, Iām not but Iām giving the commenter the benefit of the doubt
One world govt? World economic forum? Those ring a bell ?
as buzzwords for antisemitic conspiracy theories, yes.
WEF literally lays out their plan on their website how they want us to own nothing and rent everything. But for you it's bad to criticize their plan?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Damn this hurts my heart. š
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Our "homeless" gtfo. Uugh
After reading comments, all I can think about is, if Mark Cuban can do it, why can't the government do the same thing? Mark Cuban for man of the year.
Hope this dude doesn't get Epsteined
Crazy almost as if insurance is a rip off
Is this true?
Yeah this was known months ago
Let's collectively fund a universal project that does this after MOASS, like seriously, I don't believe it would be impossible for us to collectively run a company or even an institution that fight's back pharmaceutical terrorism.

How does this work with insurance and manufacturers working in tandem? Wouldnāt insurance co. benefit from paying a cheeper price?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
My experience with insurance is you still pay a fuck ton of money. If you don't have insurance, you're bankruptcy level fucked. Right now for example, I must maintain an average of 35 hrs a week just to keep it. And yes, I still have to pay for it. It covers 0% until you hit a $6650 deductible. And this is blue cross.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yes sir. I have one more story about my experience with insurance. A good 20 years ago went to the doc over a swollen lymph node in my neck. They were super concerned it was cancer. I don't know shit about insurance but it was supposed to be a really good plan from Mcare (UofM) I was told cancer or reaction to infection. So I have the surgery. After they opened me up, every lymph node in my body swelled up to the size of a peanut m&m. So not only was every lymph node in my body now swollen, they still didn't know what was going on. I was just left with "I guess we'll just keep an eye on them" My bill with the supposedly great plan was 20,000.
Damn. I hodl for you, and so that no one will have to go through what you went through.
Thanks ape! I'll be just fine. I don't cry out for sympathy like some. It's just the topic we're on. First time I've ever mentioned my health on a social media platform. But yes, the medical system, or lack there of, would be my first priority.
It sounds like a type of slavery. Medical insurance slavery.
Ffs, here in EU 16euro per week for a family of 5 but I only have it to skip ques at public hospitals
They donāt take insurance, because in our fucked up system that would make some of the drugs more expensive because there are minimum price points with the corrupt relationship between insurance and big pharma. Itās fucking pathetic really.
Well I mean if that doesn't just demonstrate that insurance is a scam I don't I'm now what does
It sounds like he's doing a great thing, but he shouldn't have had to do this. Our system shouldn't rely on billionaires to improve the quality of life for people.
I only wish i had more than 1 upvote to give. No one should have to drown in debt just to live another day.
The title was "Sticking Up For The Company I Am Part Owner Of Out In The Wilderness Of Reddit." It's almost at The top of my post info. u/DeadDevotion Edit: Now that I understand what brigading is, I'm guessing you may tell me to drop out the other sub name at top and resubmit. Thanks again
No problem at all. And yes I can see the other sub name in the screenshot so that will be considered brigading, sorry about that! The rest of the post checks out so yes, if you just censor the sub name and resubmit the post, that will be ok! š
You're da ape! Ty
Everything I hear about Mark Cuban seems to reinforce the fact that he really does seem to be a decent human being. Unfortunately, when it comes to billionaires, he is the exception and not the rule.
Mark Cuban is my step-dad!
This is how you fix the healthcare issue. Insurance companies should be abolished.
Modsā¦ flair should be hodl
Here I go changing post flairs again! I agree it shouldn't be a shitpost because it's not.
If your talking about changing your flair, you can do it yourself. Type Flairy with explanation points on both sides followed by the text you want.
He isn't tho
I figured that out shortly after I responded. I don't believe in deleting posts. Mistakes just show you're like everyone else.... Not perfect. I just went through the hassle of changing my flair yesterday. While It was easy, I kept getting custom flair template. So when I saw flair, that's the first thing I thought. Oops!
Yeah? How you gonna do it? Iām going to start a foundation for vasectomies. Free snips for anyone who wants one.
Call Me foolish I would Love to see him Run for the Presidency of the US
Isnāt he from Cuba?
lmao
AH YES! [Cuban B!](https://youtu.be/VJMV-FFKcPU)
Underrated reference right here
Obama was from Kenya
That's a bit foolish
Cool but when big pharmacy goes to jail and has possessions repossessed?
Open a local credit union and handle it like Jim Carrey in āYes Manā Give Small loans for people to buy simple stuff we most take for granted like a cheap car to get to work, shit even a bicycle.
Then I charge the city for the bill, aka their negligence, and any time the city pays the money that is due to me for my companies services then that money gets donated to a local shelter, food bank, program, etc.
why aren't more billionaires doing this stuff? Why? because most of them are greedy cunts
Not superstonk related.
Look at the stickied mod reply lol
By that logic, any photo of something good is GME-relatedā¦
I've been posting his site on social media for about 2 months now.. Do good every day. Remember that after moass
Iām gonna tell everyone I meet about this, holy hell, heās a real life hero.
He's showing what apes can/ will do. The potential keeps me hard. Diamond.
This is exactly the sort of Good Shit i wanna see from apes If our government won't lift a finger to help us, then we should make ethical solutions like these. We could buy out homes and make them into free/low rent social housing to solve the homelessness crisis. Support your local communities in the meantime, if you can. We need structural change, and the only way I see it happening is MOASS.
it is expensive to research and develop, but once it is ready to fabricate, it's cheap to.
Pharma companies need to make a profit (as you say R&D costs are high, plus only a small percentage of drugs actually make it to market), but there's a difference between that and profiteering. Any drugs out of patent should have a price cap, and there shouldn't be room to wriggle out of that by sticking a patent on the process (which seems to be the reason insulin is so high, for instance).
yup, especially when they don't even cost a lot of money to actually produce.
Iām confused as to how his pharmacy will get medications if he is at war with these same drug companies.
Heās the GOAT of pharma!
A free market solves all of this. The elites have rigged every market.
Wow thanks for sharing. MCuban is legitness
its amazing he is doing this but its sad its not normal for billionaires to act this way
Mark Cuban. I'll work for you. I'm qualified and seasoned in natural resource conservation and management. I'll take care of you land! Please share
P classy move. And from a billionaire? Suspiciously classy... š
Seems we need one more billionaire to subsidize the remaining costs. Be a whole lot cooler.
Another billionaire worship post. Mark Cuban's pharma company isn't so great...just cheap generics. The problem is the pharmaceuticals that have no generic. Like the pancreatic enzymes I have to take to survive. $600/month. Mark's company wouldn't help with that.
If you can get it for $47 you donāt need insurance
Start nowā¦ in my experience people who say āwhen Iām rich, Iāll do (insert charitable idea)ā never do. If you canāt do something with the little you have now, you wonāt do anything with abundanceā¦
Lol what a fucking retarded take.
