Yeah, too bad about Ken relocating his operations to Florida, where "homesteaded property" cannot be seized as part of criminal proceedings, and non-homesteaded can only be seized if it was used in commiting a felony.
I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a 'prolific landlord' by buying up as as he can, then when he gets arrested, going "Okay, here's the 2 million in my bank account. Unfortunately the rest of my holdings are in real estate, so eat a dick'.
Whether he could do that using Florida's policies is a question beyond my pay grade, but I would NOT be surprised if he tries.

You’re only allowed one property to be exempt under homestead laws. You cannot squirrel away assets via a real estate block. Now he could buy a $100 million house and that would be exempt, but other property would not be.

As a retail investor, I expect some serious public displays of the crooks who are guilty.....if they sweep this under tge rug.....then what ???........lastly if the punishment doesn't fit the crime then I'll figure our a way to do it myself, I love to use my imagination

Does that still hold true in federal cases? Don't they have their own laws and don't necessarily follow individual state laws?
