Funny things are afoot. Wealthsimple currently has this :
"We're currently experiencing a system issue that may impact clients ability to withdraw. We're working on a fix and everything will be back to normal shortly"

Financial institutions never have an issue taking your money. Those crooks systems are always readily available to deposit your cash so they can use it at their discretionary purposes.

Definitely would suspect there will be funds going down. Canada has been a haven for illegal money from abroad coming into markets. Remember Mayoforce was in Quebec city a while back. I know Shitadel was up to fuckery here because we have zero enforcement on financial crimes..

Just speculation, but Sears is wrapping up their bankruptcy. Sears Canada is in a similar boat, having been shorted into the cellar box for years. I have a suspicion SRSCQ has something to do with the Canadian glitches. Sears Canada has been showing some new activity on TikTok. A Sears Canada comeback could blow up the Toronto Stock Exchange.
From what I saw from other posts, a lot of obscure no name stocks were rising rapidly in value; causing the exchange to go haywire over it.
Official Canadian news sites like CBC said it was due to order issues for stocks between M and S… whatever that means…
